I was really happy with Jose and his team. We are working with a lot of contractors and it tends to be very difficult with people being unresponsive and not arriving on time. However, Affordable Fencing showed up on time for the estimate and completed the job early. They were so communicative and easy to work with and we are really happy with the deck they built for us. I would recommend them to anyone!

I can't speak about their craftsmanship because it never got to that point. Everything started off very well. Scheduled a site visit and Jose was on time and very nice and knowledgeable. After he left is when things changed. He promised a quote within a few days and nothing. I called and was told he'd have it in by the end of that day. Still nothing. It's been over 2 weeks and I've never heard back. Take from that experience what you will but it could reflect what the experience would be like if we did proceed with a project.

Jose has done two wood fence repair projects at my home. I have been very satisfied with the results both times and would recommend Affordable Fences and Decks. The team works diligently, finishes the job, and does quality work. They were even able to replicate some custom cut top rail lumber that is no longer available commercially. I was worried it would look odd, but it looks great. They will be my first call for any future projects.

Jose Guerrero (a family business) is by far one of the most professional contractors I've ever had the pleasure in doing business with. Jose and his team completely rebuilt my deck and replaced the rails/pickets on my front porch and did an outstanding job. I like the fact that Jose is the first person on the job and last to leave ensuring everything is correct. Jose and his team were spectacular to work with from start to finish! We had a vinyl privacy fence installed. The quality of the material and their work are both superb. Jose was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. He and his team worked quickly, diligently, and produced a great product. I would absolutely recommend them for any of your fencing needs. I plan on reaching out for a deck estimate from Affordable Fences and Decks when I'm ready for that project.

Jose was wonderful to work with! He took his time to really understand what we wanted. He explained everything very thoroughly. He and his team were able to come out a day earlier than planned (awesome!) and worked long hours to get the job done. They were polite and professional. They really went above and beyond. They even worked in the rain! We are thrilled with our new deck!!

We got a new puppy for Christmas and really needed a fence to keep him in our back yard. I contacted Jose. He came out the next day and gave us a quote. The Town of Garner was very helpful in approving the permit for the fence right away. We accepted Jose's quote and he came out on Tuesday to pick up the downpayment. He said that he would order the materials and be here on Friday for the install. He said it would take 2 days for the installation. He got here at 8:00 AM on Friday and by 5:00 PM the fence was installed and everything was cleaned up. The job was finished in just one day! The fence looks great! We have a lot of trees and bushes in our yard. The crew was very careful with our bushes and only had to trim a few of the bushes and trees. We are very pleased with how the fence looks, the workmanship, the time the whole process took (all during the holidays) and the cleanup. I highly recommend Affordable Fences and Decks, Inc.

Jose and his team did an amazing job on my fence and deck extension. Just like the website stated, I told them my budget and they made it happen for LESS actually. Jose and Melanie were both so helpful in answering my questions along the way and explained the process in great detail. Jose even came back after the job was complete to touch up a few places that were missed when staining. My only complaint is I wish they would have sanded my original deck before staining. It would have helped everything look more seamless and even.

Jose and his crew were incredibly fast with our deck build. They did a great job and we love enjoying time outside on it now. Would highly recommend!

I spoke with Jose by phone and set a time for us to meet. He was early for the appointment, which is always a good thing. I wanted to replace the the floor decking with Trex and wanted a picture frame design. He was completely familiar with that.
Several days I received a quote for the job. I accepted his quote and he ordered the material. He came a couple of days later and removed the current decking. When the material was delivered, on Labor Day. Jose had his men out the next day.

The job is completed and in a timely manner. I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The area was completely cleaned up to my satisfaction. The new decking looks great. A job well done.

We just moved into our home in Kenly and we needed a fence installed due to our dogs. We went online to search fencing companies and a Jose of Affordable fences & decks called. We were so lucky to get that call because Jose and his crew Gio, Oscar and Pablo, gave us a very reasonable estimate and Jose explained everything in detail so there would be no surprises, it's a large yard and it's not level. I had a great experience working with Affordable Fences and Decks for my fence project. Jose and his team installed 6’ white vinyl fencing and 5’ black aluminum fencing around my large back yard. From the quote to the install, Jose and team communicated with me regarding start date and materials delivery, was responsive to any questions, and worked quickly to complete a quality fence that my family and I will enjoy for years to come.

Jose made the entire process from quote to installation a breeze. His pricing was competitive and they installed our wood fence in 1 day! Made an appointment with Jose to come out and give me an estimate for both a deck replacement and fence replacement for Monday, August 25 at 10 o’clock! He never bothered to show nor did he call to let me know he wasn’t coming. I left him a second message later in the afternoon and still no contact. I’m done!

Very great service with a great price. Every other place we received a quote had it almost a $1000 difference. They are very professional and friendly, they even put a mound of dirt under the fence door gap so my dogs wouldn't be able to go under. It was very thoughtful. Very clean and quiet work. Jose, I believe his name was, came out once more a couple days before and made sure where exactly I wanted the fence and that everything was ready to go.
