James and his team are highly professional, proficient, and friendly. This was our second time using Walters and we would not call anyone else for our landscaping needs. The quote is always very fair, and James stays in contact with you through the process. Let’s talk character and integrity. Three years ago his team came out and landscaped our yard front and back, including grass seed and straw. We had two heavy storms come through about two weeks apart, which obviously washed away the seed. James called me and stated he wanted to send his team out to re-seed the yard, at no charge since the storms washed everything out. My wife and I were very grateful, as we did not expect them to come back out. This is a sign of integrity, character, and professionalism that is hard to come by in 2021. James and his crew work wonders. We have been working with them for the past year to rehabilitate our yard from damage done by a previous landscaper and it looks better than ever. James is always quick to respond and offer ideas and help wherever he can. We appreciate his honesty and commitment to providing great service at an affordable price.

We have been working with James on various lawn and landscaping needs for nearly 2 years. From day 1 he was professional, timely, honest, and hard working. When we decided to do a fairly extensive backyard remodel, he and his contractors did excellent quality work. If something was not perfectly done, James was quick to notice and correct any issue no matter how small. Can’t imagine working with someone else!

He was very quick to respond via email, phone, and text. They wrapped up the work quickly once the weather started cooperating. Overall it was a very pleasant experience working with him and his team.

When I look at my revamped yard, patio, and retaining wall, I really appreciate the attention to detail that went into the project. For example, the retaining wall cap that we had originally picked out looked great, but James thought it could be better. He switched the caps out and it made the wall look amazing! James has very high expectations of his crew and has so much pride in his work. He treated my yard with as much care as he would his own. On his website, he states that he looks to “earn a customer, not a sale.” You will find this to be true when you hire James and his team. James is trustworthy and dependable - he responded to all of my calls/text/emails within the day. He gives the best advice based on your budget and needs. James and his team recently completed a paver patio and fire pit for us. The experience and outcome were both great and I'd highly recommend them. James was helpful from day one, he helped us come up with our design, his follow through was thorough and he was always on time. This was a big project for us and trust was important, I felt James and his team always had our best interest in mind. Picking a vendor is always a bit of a leap of faith but this time it worked out well and I'll continue to use Walters for projects in the future.

Working with James and the team has been an absolute A+ experience. We did a major landscaping and hardscaping project, including retaining walls, brick patios and walkways, new trees and shrubs, sod, etc. From planning through excavation, building and planting, they did a great job. This has been one of the best experiences we’ve had with a contractor of any sort. He and his team worked hard to finish our project on a tight deadline we had laid out. James the owner was involved and responsive every step of the way. He clearly cared about the work and ensuring we were happy with every item. His crew were great to deal with, hard-working, had attention to detail, and showed up like clockwork.

After seeing James and his team's great work on our neighbor's house, we decided to have him take on our backyard project. His pricing was fair and he started when he said he would. Despite many hurdles with our HOA, the City, and mother nature, James and team did a great job navigating and adjusting as needed. Walter’s does our routine maintenance which always looks great. Most recently we worked with them for a large backyard project (fireplace, stairs, pavers, shrubs + trees, etc.) They do awesome work that we’ve been very happy with. After giving me a quote, his crew was able to completely revitalize my front yard which was in rough shape, and it came out looking fantastic. Walters Landscaping did an incredible job on our outdoor patio. James was so easy to communicate with and his crews were extremely professional.
