Diagnosis of failure of new unit to cool was a time consuming and complex process. It was skillfully undertaken and the problem, which developed external to the equipment post installation was resolved.Leaked coolant due to ruptured line was replaced!

What a godsend this company is! I called Nick, the owner because he had been recommended. My heater had stopped working on Tuesday and it was cold outside and inside!! He dispatched Jason who was able to work me in very quickly. My unit is 13 years old and I feared the worst. Jason got it up and running but cautioned me that a lot of rust was taking over my unit as I feared for a unit that old. I now know just who to call when the old girl kicks the bucket!! Thank you Nick and Jason!!

Good, clear comms with Shannon (front desk) and exceptional on-site service provided by Justin. Got all my questions answered and "heads up", friendly advises received and acknowledged. Looking forward to renewing my contract. Thank you!

6 & Fix always does a fantastic job, from easy scheduling to prompt, professional service. Tech Justin was on time, informed me as to what he was doing, finished within an hour and ended the service asking me if I had any questions. Would recommend 6 & Fix to anyone

6 and Fix did a great job on numerous plumbing issues I had. I got a second opinion and 6 and Fix's prices were better. I would highly recommend Cal for your plumbing needs. He's totally certified and does everything with a lot of pride and care. Joe in the office was great to work with also.

Alex was so knowledgeable and professional!! He went above and beyond to explain everything to me! He came out to check our system and fixed an issue we were having! Highly recommend! We will be switching to 6 and fix for all of our future needs!

I had an outstanding experience with 6 & Fix conditioning my crawl space and installing a new furnace, AC, and dehumidifiers. All the workmen were polite and professional. A special recognition goes out to Alex, who supervised the project. He explained everything in the beginning, oversaw the project expertly, and showed me the completed work (as we crawled under the house). He is the best HVAC specialist I have ever met.

The heat stopped working in my house on a Sunday night in January 2026. 6 & Fix came over early afternoon on Monday to fix it despite ice storm and difficult driving conditions. They got it working again quickly and did maintenance to get it in top working condition. The price seemed reasonable. They were very professional and efficient.

Jacob did an awesome job today of tuning up my old HVAC system getting ready for the winter! He found a minor problem and fixed it. didn't cost me a penny extra and he explained to me the exhaust part he had to clean out. He was personable, left everything like he found it and very respectful of our property. When he was done he explained the system to me more than I needed to know, even though I am a mechanical kind of person. Another good experience with 6 & Fix! I'll be renewing my contract with them again next year.

Very nice tech, but problem not fixed! By 9 that evening the thermostat had dropped to 60 again, I reset ir, when I got up at 4 am, it was running full blast again at 70 and it was set for 64! This thermostat seems to be a joke! 4 years old! I will not recommend this type of system to anyone and will probably have it replaced with a normal HVAC system. I will also want reimbursement for the years it should've lasted. Court if necessary! My old HVAC system lasted 24 years with 1 maintenance performed!

6 and Fix was extremely prompt and addressed all of our issues completely! Our heater went out, our water heater broke and we had a leak in the bathroom all at the same time and they took care of everything while being honest and upfront about the costs. Highly recommend Cal as he took the time to make sure we were satisfied with everything. Thanks all!

6 & Fix is my go-to HVAC company now. I particularly want to give a shout out to Alex who found issues with our old unit's design which was really causing our issues. Alex discovered that old old refrigerant lines were too small for our unit among other things. We purchased the unit he recommended and our HVAC is wonderfully consistent on all 3 floors of our home.

I had multiple plumbing and installs to be done!

My bathrooms look perfect and I have peace of mind they will not leak!

I have been using 6 & fix Services for over six years now. They have maintained my HVAC system and air handler with expert technicians. The technicians are great, friendly and answer all and any concerns you might have.They offer emergency services and hours which for me is truly a blessing. The technicians are truly a delight, respectful, knowledgeable and patient. I do rely on a company I can trust, that value me as a consumer or I would not utilize their services. No matter the situation they are always available to assist and I am grateful. I know there are many companies out there but I prefer to stick with the one that always solves the problems and they do. Yep, I am a real customer posting this review so you judge for yourself. They also offer coupons which makes life a little easier in these difficult times. You can also find their website online that offers other services. Having signed up for yearly maintenance, two visits per year, saves money and time. No matter what you do after reading my review, all I can say is make sure you hire a legitimate, honest company so you don’t have regrets later on. Before I found 6 & fix, I was taken by a supposed reputable company and it costs me money I did not have. I recommend 6 & fix who have done a great job at maintaining my units without any hesitancy at all. Like the old saying goes, lol, you get what you pay for.

Alex Malatesta came to check and assess the duct work. He took his time to go through the attic and crawlspace to ensure performance. He made his recommendations to replace few in the attic. He was totally courteous, knowing exactly what is needed and made sure to take the time to explain everything. He definitely made me extremely comfortable and trust his assessment. He made sure we fully understood his assessment and recommendation. His patience and ability to answer every question we had was outstanding. Alex is definitely the person one would want to have whenever a major issue occurs with the HVAC. I highly recommend him and would ask for him at all times. His follow up when the duct work was being installed and involvement proved that he puts his customers first and ensures the job is done to their satisfaction. What a blessing to have someone like him. His directions to the crew were very clear and they both did a great job. The two technicians completed the job and made sure the attic was spotless. They also went around to clean every vent. My wife and I were totally satisfied and pleased. Thank you Alex for all the professionalism you provided and for the efficient work your team did.

I contacted Six and Fix after our HVAC unit stopped producing heat. A technician came out the same day and walked us through several repair options, ultimately recommending replacement. He clearly explained the issues and supported his recommendation with photos, which we appreciated.
The following day, Alex visited our home to review the layout, assess the square footage, and determine the system that would best meet our needs. He presented multiple options, took the time to explain the differences, and helped us select the solution that made the most sense for our home. He also thoroughly reviewed financing options, offering plans that worked well for us.
Within two days, we had a fully functioning new HVAC system installed. Several weeks later, Alex returned to check on the system and install a new thermostat. He walked us through the setup and explained all of its features in a clear and helpful way.
Alex was truly a pleasure to work with—professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire process. If we have any future HVAC needs, we will absolutely reach out to Alex and the Six and Fix team again. We are extremely grateful to have gone from no heat one day to a brand-new system just two days later, especially during the coldest time of winter. Thank you again.

We have been using 6 & Fix for about 10 years. Early on there were some customer satisfaction issues. They worked it out and we have been happy since. Their technicians, Jason, is great! He has been servicing our units for many years.

After identifying a leak in our upstairs bedroom, we located the root cause in the attic. Our ac pan was overflowing and the sensors had not shut the system down as they are meant to do. A technician from 6 and Fix was able to make it out to us the same evening and resolve the main issues and noticed that the sensors were never turned on. My husband confirmed that only technicians have the ability to turn these sensors on and off. Because of this, we have water damage in our guest bedroom that has required professional restoration.

We have gotten insurance involved as the repairs for the damage will be around $8K, and I have been calling and talking to people from 6 and fix, asking for support as the problem was ultimately from their negligence. We are looking to find out how they can make things right for us, as we’ve been loyal customers since they installed both of our HVAC systems. Unfortunately, I seem to be getting the run around whenever I call. The women who have answered seem understanding and sweet, they tell me they’ll forward my complaint to their supervisors and I’ll get a call back - no calls at all from anyone in management. Last time I called, I was forwarded to the manager and was sent straight to voicemail.

I’m very frustrated as these calls are taking time out of my day and getting me nowhere!

Update: I received a call after this review was posted and this has now been raised to the appropriate group to be resolved. Leaving at 4 stars for now as the communication has been very open since the right people were notified.

Changes happen at 6&Fix and not for the best. This year (fall, 2025) it is the first time when I am trying to schedule a maintenance visit with difficulty. I am messaged by them to return a call for scheduling. I am calling, and told that someone will contact me soon. After 5 days (no contact), I call them again today (10/6/2025) just to be told that someone (!) will contact me today. Will see how this goes. But it it frustrating that I have to make calls, repeatedly, when it used to be simple: I used to call and schedule on the spot. Now I am waisting time with repeated calls. 6&Fix, time is money not only for you, but for your clients as well. I am a 5-year client with 6&Fix, for the record.
