If I could give zero stars I would! First after we booked with "national" for full service promised, the local store called and said they can't come out as promised cause "national" overbooked them and they cannot provide the service national Orkin promised for the charge. Then they charged $160 and a guy came out while I was a away. We had a mouse in the house and wanted to have a professional pest control check it out and take care of the problem. The guy who came checked the house and the attic as well as the crawl space. Told my wife there was no indication of mice as she was pointing out mouse droppings to him. He said there was no indication of mice in the crawl space. When I checked after I returned from the trip I saw a lot of mouse droppings in the crawl space so he clearly either doesn't know what he was doing or didn't actually check. There were promises of follow updates and rechecks. NOTHING happened. My wife called and requested a refund. If we do not get it I will go to small claims court I am that upset with them. Stay away from Orkin in and around Raleigh, NC

Changed my rating to 5 star! Orkin helped us immensely! We had a wood roach issue and orkin has been pretty good at controlling it. Still see some activity but much better than our prev service.

Update: once you are an orkin member, the quality of service and response time changes.

Technician is always very polite & professional. Explains in layman’s terms what & why he is performing task. Very thorough.

I was told that I need to buy an extended service over a period of time to remove drain flies because “Barbara” said they lay eggs in the base boards after they hatch from drain pipes and that I’ll need them to come back monthly to treat that. That doesn’t seem right to me as drain flies start out as larva (not eggs) in a wet moist area similar to misquotes. Without a wet moist area the fly larva can’t brood. I don’t know what kind of homes you need to treat base boards that have those conditions but my guess is this is just a ploy to take more customer money under the ruse of “removing the base board eggs” for unsuspecting customers. Funny thing is, I told the lady that I will research what she said and get back to her, her response was “good luck with that”. Very professional.

Beware anyone buying this service unless your intended goal is to have them continually come back. Then, the Barbara’s of Orkinman won’t be condescending as if you don’t know anything and were born yesterday.

Montez did an excellent job. This was a call back for problems with centipedes. He took care of treating the problem. There is one task I wish Orkin and all exterminating companies could do and that is caulking gaps, etc. as needed. Thanks.

He came and sat in front of my house for a long time, which is weird bc I didn't have a set appt time. I noticed him, but he never knocked or came in.
And I would have known if he knocked bc I have a dog that would have gone crazy.
Never saw his face & the next thing I know, I'm getting this survey. Upon calling, apparently now I also have a balance- so I had better not be charged for this "visit"

Neil is an outstanding and excellent technician. He should continue to train other organ technicians, especially younger ones to have the work ethic, attention to detail and customer relationships that he is expert at.

Orkin was very helpful and thorough. They talked me through what was going to happen step by step and helped with any questions I had. I would highly recommend Antonio and Michael!
