We live downtown and had a very tight space for Sam to fit his equipment into. He made it look easy and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. So easy to text and communicate with. He fit us into the schedule two days later. His pricing was much less than the large tree companies. We especially loved his supervisor in the truck (Moose the Chocolate Lab). Highly recommend - love supporting good people.

I called manyyy tree stump removal companies and then I called Sam at Raleigh Stump Grinding. Two problems I ran into with the other companies: 1. They couldn’t fit their grinder through my narrow 35 inch gate 2. Their quotes were outrageous. Sam got it done so easily. I am a busy wife & mom with a full time job as well. I come home from work, and poof the stump that I’ve wanted gone for years is gone with No mess left behind. Actually he did leave something behind! A company gift with a magnet which honestly, really made my day today. Lastly, while Sam was grinding our stump, my neighbors came over and hired him on the spot to do their stump. Sam has some pretty happy customers over here. I have passed along his info to my HOA as well as my mother in laws HOA. Thanks for making it easy without breaking our bank! Sam Brown is excellent from response to my request for an estimate and the communication to schedule the work. The job was done efficiently and professionally. 2 Stumps removed, ground leveled and area cleaned, also took extra caution using a portable barrier to prevent debris from pool area. Highly recommend and will definitely use his services in the future as needed.

Sam was awesome! Reached out to him in the morning for a quote and he was at the house, taking care of our tree by 1 PM. Super professional, courteous, efficient, and left a clean worksite. Can’t recommend any more highly and would absolutely use him again.

We had an excellent experience with Sam at Raleigh Stump Grinding. He was fast, friendly, and did a good job with the 6 stumps that we had, and even cleaned up after himself. He was even able to knock the job out the same day as the (very reasonable) quote. As a nice bonus we got to meet his cool dog Moose!

I have used Raleigh Stump Grinding twice. Both times I was very happy with the service, price and communication. Sam is a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend him. He has the coolest machine and he not only grinds stumps but he took out some huge bushes and hauled them away for me. It was well worth the fair price he gave me. And my yard looks so much better!

Responsive, quick , and quality work by Raleigh Stump Grinding. I had a handyman buddy that wanted some cash so I let him take down the tree in my front yard but then of course he had no clue what to do with the stump so I called these guys they communicated effectively got the job done when they said they would, they were polite, they even gifted me a stainless steel Tumblr.

Absolutely Outstanding Service!

Sam with Raleigh Stump Grinding did an incredible job on my very large sycamore stump. He arrived exactly on time, was extremely professional, and came prepared with some seriously cool equipment that made quick work of what I thought would be a tough job. For very little more, he even ground an old stump in my back yard and a root that was coming up from another tree. We'll be using all of that great mulch to mix into our new flower beds (or he would have had one of his partners haul it off for us).

The pricing was very fair—much better than other quotes I’d received—and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Sam is not only great at what he does, but also super friendly and easy to talk to. And bonus points: I loved getting to meet his dog Moose, who was just as charming as his owner!
