I recently hired Spotlight Electric to install new foyer lighting, pendant lights over my kitchen island, and a new switch for the pendants, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Devin arrived on time, was professional, and took the time to ensure every detail was completed neatly and safely. The lighting looks fantastic, and all fixtures were installed securely and work perfectly. I highly recommend Spotlight Electric to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality electrical work. I would absolutely use them again.

It is hard for me to recommend someone as much as I recommend Spotlight Electric. Devin is extremely helpful, very patient, and was super flexible! I know there are lots of options here in Raleigh and in the Triangle in general so if you are looking for someone I would 100% give them a call.

We had 2 light fixtures installed in our high kitchen ceiling. Devin is a young guy starting out with his own company, and I was beyond impressed with his professionalism. He was on time and very polite, describing exactly what the job required. He replied promptly to texts and took good care to cover down and clean up afterwards, and we’re extremely happy with the end result. When a lot of companies don’t give you a straight answer or don’t come when they say they will, working with Devin was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend!

Spotlight Electric is what you need if you’re looking for an electrician. He’s not going to overcharge you for repairs or pressure you into unnecessary items.

I had some bad wiring of a flood light. He removed the old lights, repaired the holes in my siding to ensure there was no water damage, and ran two new lights. He has also redid some wiring that possibly could have burned my house down.

He thoroughly understands his craft. I would recommend him to anyone. Fair, efficient, and reasonably priced. An all around nice guy!

Devon was great. He helped us out of a bind around the holidays - so friendly - great service - cannot say enough. We have plans for other projects and will definitely be partnering with Devon!

Devin came out to evaluate our needs and got us a quote that evening. We had a new spa hookup, an interlock for a generator and adding a 220 line to the garage. Everything broken out so we knew what was the cost for each service.
He was very thorough and neat explaining the spa hookup as well as how to connect the generator. He even sent us a video on spa maintenance.
Lastly, he was the first electrician to find our broken doorbell transformer and got that fixed! On his last visit to add the lockout for the generator, he brought two doorbell buttons as well since the old ones barely worked. Would 100% use his services again.

Spotlight Electric, (Devin), wired a hot tub and added external flood lights for us. His work was perfect, all wiring and connections were completed very professionally. Originally, I got an estimate for an EV charger installation not from Spotlight. Then I called Spotlight and they gave me a price estimate for about 65 percent of the original estimate from the other guys. I set up an appointment and Spotlight was able to come to my rescue within a week (I know this may not always be the case but they were able to book me sooner rather than later).

Devin from Spotlight came to install my Level 2 Tesla Universal EV charger. He was very professional and absolutely knew what he was doing. I talked with Devin and asked multiple questions and he gave complete answers to all of my questions (I had additional questions about my doorbell which has been giving us problems). He actually helped us fix our doorbell for free.

His work was absolutely beautiful. He said one of his favorite things to do is make it look good and I couldn't imagine it looking any better than it does (see picture). He took our old 14-50 NEMA EV outlet (from previous owner) in the middle of our garage and extended this and installed the Tesla Universal charger at the edge of my garage. Now it reaches my car with plenty of length!!! After he set everything up physically, Devin stayed and helped with setting up my Tesla App (for charging) on my phone. He actually called Tesla support himself and walked through everything before leaving. Lastly, Devin set up the inspection for me and got the charger inspection done.

I would go with Spotlight again before I tried anyone else. In fact, just call Spotlight. They have better prices and they will make your EV installation look absolutely beautiful!

We recently purchased a house built in 2002. The house had multiple outbuildings and electric service meters and was a bit of a complex electrical setup. Logan performed an inspection during the due diligence period and was very thorough. He wrote a comprehensive report and explained everything verbally. After closing, we had Logan and James come back to perform the necessary repairs. They spent five days fixing several issues and also installing new lights and fans in multiple rooms. They did a great job with the installs including cleaning up any mess/debris. Logan again did a great job communicating any additional issues and working to find solutions. We also had a great experience with Sabrina and the office staff in terms of scheduling, pre-work communication, and payment processing. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you to Sabrina, Logan, James, and the entire ZAR staff.
