When our A/C went out our warranty company put us in contact with Hoff Heating and Cooling. Ozzy from Hoff quickly diagnosed the problem and set to work in a professional and efficient manner. Problem solved. Ozzy was a most friendly and courteous gentleman. I recommend Hoff Heating and Cooling.

The tech was incredibly responsive and professional. He also saved me over $3700 by finding a relatively simple fix when a competitor was trying to unnecessarily replace parts and sell me a new system. They are honest, efficient and communicative. I will be using them from now on and would recommend to anyone in the Raleigh/Durham area.

Azzi Hoff was assigned to me by my home warranty to take care of a plumbing issue a few months ago. He was very professional, courteous and explained the exact problem. I used outside of my home warranty since that time. I had an emergency plumbing problem the other day and needed someone immediately, and knew going through my home warranty would take a while. I called Hoff and he came within 2 hours at the end of his work day. He immediately took care of the problem. He is now my go to person for plumbing needs.

My ac stopped cooling and I contacted my home warranty. They referred Hoff AC to service my system. Azzi responded quickly, however, the warranty company asked him to hold off repairing it until he sent pictures and received authorization from them, which could have taken another couple of days. This was unacceptable for me. After a few phone calls to Select Warranty, we were able to get authorization while he was here. Azzi waited patiently to get authorization and he fixed the problem immediately. My ac is working perfectly now. Azzi was prompt, professional, courteous and patient. Thank you!

Our AC went out in October, called our home warranty company they sent some company out the fixed the AC but as soon as he left our outside unit started freezing. I called the warranty company again, they sent yet another company, that company told us it was the control panel and they would order the part, three weeks passed I called them they said it was on back order, mean while we are running the heat on emergency heat to protect our unit, or so we were told. They finally come out and it's the Wrong part. They said they would contact the company and get the right part. Two weeks later, I get a text message from the company, telling me my warranty company has assigned the repair to another technician. That company was Hoff Heating. The technician, Ozzie was out to my house the next day, assessed the problem, told my husband he wget in touch with the warranty company for approval, order the part and contact us when it came in. It was 24 hours later that Ozzie called me and asked if he could come and repair our unit. Of course I said yes. Let me tell you, Ozzie was so gety professional, friendly and had no issues with explaining what he was doing and what the part did that he put in. I ask a lot of questions and Ozzie was cool with that. He always had a smile on his face, he was very nice to be around, I hope if we have another issue that Hoff Heating will send out Ozzie. I will recommend Hoff Heating to my friends and family

Ozzy did a great job from beginning to end. Professional, timely communication. Installation was smooth and hot air is blowing again. Price was also best of the quotes I received from other HVAC Service providers. The work was done quickly and professionally.

My heat went out in the beginning of December and Hoff was able to come inspect the unit the next day. Within the week all the parts were ready and full installation was performed in exceptional timing with professional courteous workers and amazing quality. I can’t thank the team enough for helping get our heat system restored in the middle of prime heating season repair so quickly. Would highly Recommended their services.

Azziz saved us tonight. Our furnace stopped working on the coldest day of the year. My husband is recovering from surgery. It was a true emergency. He came late on a Saturday and restored our heat. Professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

I could not have asked for a quicker response or better customer service. My problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed. The representative was extremely professional and knowledgeable.

We were experiencing issues with our dryer, so our home warranty assigned Hoff heating and cooling to come diagnose the issue.
He was quick to understand the problem, and the next day he got the part and fixed our dryer. While here, he inquired about our HVAC.
Incredible timing as Michael and Sons were pressuring me to go through a total unit replacement and even talked us out of doing a freon fill up because it was going to cost us ~$450 to temporarily fix an inevitable HVAC breakdown. I spent the last month anxiously obtaining HVAC unit quotes that were way beyond my budget.
Azzi inspected our HVAC unit and found that it is still in good condition, and that he could replace the freon at a much reduced price.
Awesome guy that is totally transparent and easy to talk to. He will definitely be our go-to guy for future home issues. I highly recommend Hoff heating and cooling!

Totally recommended 100%. He fixed my mom heater in a few hours. It was the day after thanksgiving when most of the businesses are closed. The lower temperature tonight will be 20 F.

I'm beyond happy with HOFF Heating and Cooling services. He came fixed AC with 10\15 mins,and actually found the prob even though had to go buy a part for heating part it didn't matter he returned next day again with 15 mins he'd fixed heat on out unit and even showed me how to replace filters I didn't even know about. He was very nice and vary respectful. I deff would recommend if you got any air or heat issues and u don't know etc give them a call, I know personally Ozzie al sometimes u could be waiting hours or days but not with them. he was an all around fixit I would deff rather him and more like him. Period. Thanks

My HVAC blower fan and heating ability failed during the recent cold snap, on 2/1/2026. I engaged my home warranty service and was routed to Hoff Heating and Cooling thru the warranty company.

I am extremely happy with the level of communication provided by the technician as well as how he educated me about my unit and its issues. Though it took a while to resolve, this was not any fault of the technician, just a result of the approvals that service providers must obtain when performing work thru home warranty services.

My claim was fully resolved today and I am very grateful to the technician for compassion and empathy displayed as he worked to prioritize my repair during the period of cold weather.

I plan to use this company to perform regular maintenance on my HVAC system, outside of warranty claims, to keep my system in top shape and to prevent future functionality issues.

I went through my home warranty and had this man to come out to fix my toilets and and put a stopper and leveler to push the stopper up & down looked under sink cabinet had water in the bottom. Now my toilet has been leaking water bill going up the tank does not fill up so it drips. Call got the answer only guaranteed for 30 days. But you did not fix what I payed to have fix..Double check his work and on day 28 - 30 check again. Ugggg would not recommend

Very bad experience. A tech came and had no idea what the problem was so made one up. Finally got a real technician to come and fix the problem. VERY unhappy with this company.
