After noticing a property in our neighborhood recently completed by Triangle Landscape Lighting, we were impressed by the results. After Mike impressed us with his knowledge and customer driven focus, we knew he was the right contractor for us. This was not his first rodeo: Professional team, attention to details, quality product with extended warranty and client focused approach. The results confirmed the winning formula, we could not be more pleased.

Luke and Mike did a great job! We originally found a flyer on our porch and after calling Mike the (owner) we had a demo within a couple of weeks. I am very picky when hiring vendors to work on our house and these guys take pride in their work and did a fantastic job. They were very responsive and thorough going over everything they were doing. We will definitely recommend Triangle Landscape Lighting to our friends and family!

Luke was professional and polite. They put together a beautiful lighting system for my house in Apex and it looks amazing! I am highly HIGHLY impressed with the work they have done from start to finish and I have already referred them to my brother in Raleigh and some other friends. Triangle Landscape Lighting did a great job with our house! Mike and his son were prompt and very communicative. Installation went smoothly. After a recent, big storm when several of our lights became buried in mud, they came out quickly, unburied them and cleaned them. I would highly recommend them for their lighting and their service.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. Very professional and true to his word. I wanted a demonstration of light placement and his son Luke was very accommodating and helpful in the placement of lighting. Highly recommended them!

Triangle landscape lighting did a great job installing lights around my home. I had texted him on a Sunday evening and he got back to me right away. His son Luke came by and did a demonstration to find the angles and show us lighting options to suite our needs. Both were a pleasure to work with. Their installers did a fantastic job and were very friendly and knowledgeable. These lights added great curb appeal and I am very happy to have gone with Mike and his company.

*Update 09/18/24- I had a light go out due to a problem on my end (no fault of the company) and Mike and his team came out very quickly and resolved the problem. It’s so great to see a local business taking care of its customers. Thank you!

Mike did a wonderful job. He was so very quick to respond to my initial call. Just a few days later he came out tondi the demo and then 3 days later he was out to install. Having the demo done where you can see what your house will look like is such a great thing. This way you can change things and make it the way you want it to be, of course with Mike’s professional help. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to make their house look amazing.

We had the pleasure of working with Triangle Landscape Lighting for a recent project at our home and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial design consultation with Mike, the owner, to the final installation, the entire process was seamless and professional. Mike was thorough in his planning and design, and even provided a phased approach for future extensions. Him and his team was wonderful and paid attention to every detail. The final outcome is truly impressive, the landscape lighting accentuates our home and makes it look amazing at night. We get compliments from our neighbors and friends all the time. Friendly reliable service. Great products, Mike is responsive and comes when he says he will be there. Two minors issues since my install, neither their fault, but they have showed up quickly and taken care of it. End result was spectacular. Love how my landscaping looks with the lighting. After much deliberation, I feel compelled to write this review. As remaining silent would be allowing the thought that an apology erases everything .transpired
First and foremost I will say that Mike the Owner did apologize multiple times and admitted that he lost his "Cool", thus it is the only reason that this company is receiving a 2 star rating. We selected this company because we had seen that several of our neighbors had used them. When his son Luke first met with us we were comfortable moving ahead with the project as he was polite and courteous throughout our interaction. When his Father the owner Mike came for the demonstration and pricing we liked what we saw and decided to move ahead with the project. A price was quoted and we were told that if we paid in cash we would not have to pay the state tax, so we opted to pay in cash. The following day we asked for our invoice, which was supposed to be emailed to us and had not been yet. Here is where things really began to go downhill. The lack of transparency was quite evident. The invoice just had the price and taxes. No itemized pricing. When we questioned Mike about this he stated that every job is different. Hmm When you bring a car in for repairs each job is different, but you get an itemization. When you purchase groceries your receipt is itemized. We let that pass. Fast forward to the day of installation. Installation was completed and we gave his workers the cash. Mike the owner then told them that amount was short. In order to avoid a 3 way conversation. Mike and I spoke directly and this is when things escalated. He was rude, condescending and threatening. "He told me he didn't have to time to play games, why was I playing games with him and he wanted his money." He stated that "if he did not get his money he was going to take the lights out of the ground' at this juncture I "told him to take the lights down."
So in conclusion if you are going to use this company do not expect transparency when you are given a price and invoice. The last I saw they are not rated by the Better Business Bureau and you may experience a nasty disposition from the owner.

Mike and his team did a terrific job of updating our 30-year-old landscape lighting. Started with a "live demo" to show us what it would look like, then did a full walk-through of what to expect. Two days later, completed the install and it looks great!

We had a great experience with Triangle Landscape Lighting. Mike was quick to respond and communicated consistently with us throughout the process. The demonstration was excellent and allowed us to see exactly what the final result would look like. We loved the efficient scheduling and installation. We have received so many compliments on our new lighting and love that we are no longer in the dark.

Our experience with Triangle Landscape Lighting was amazing. From the light demonstration that was done by Luke, to the install done by Mike; professionalism at its finest. Great experience! Michael and his team came out and gave us a demo of how a New updated Lighting system would perform and enhance the looks of our home! After some discussion, we shook hands and the install date was scheduled! On that day, his team came out and installed everything just as we discussed! Very happy with the finished product and our Home looks amazing at night! L H

Triangle Landscape Lighting provided just what we were looking for to light up our yard. The lights on the Japanese maple trees are my favorite right now, highlighting the bright red foliage. We also have some mature willow oaks that really pop with the new up-lights. All of the lighting work provides warm ambient light across the entire yard.

They provided professional service, were on time, and had straight forward pricing. We will be using them again for the next phase of our yard project.
