I hired Jake with Summit Construction Hardscape to level and spread crush and run to make a spot for boat and trailer parking at the end of our barn. He was very courteous and listened to what I wanted done. He did great work an at a very fair price. He arrived when he said he would for the quote and was here when he said he would do the work. That there is hard to find today a company that keeps it word.. I recommend him and his company.

Jake and his team did a fantastic job renovating the garden beds around our home, removing trees/shrubs, installing downspouts, retaining walls, and a new patio. He went the extra mile several times to ensure the project would be completed in time for an outdoor party we were planning. He was willing to use some of the materials we had on hand and collaborate with us for the design we wanted. He even gave us a little gift for our son's birthday at the end of the project. He was very easy to talk to, dependable, and just a great guy. His wife handles the behind-the-scenes work and she was very kind and helpful throughout the project. I would highly recommend this small family business to anyone looking to improve their landscape. We are so pleased with the outcome!

Gas firelogs would'nt light a couple nights ago so I called Summit Construction Co. The mans wife called me a short time later to say he (Jake) was on his way. He was very professional and courteous. Within a few minutes he had it fixed. I called 3 different places and this Co. is the only one that got in touch with me. They are an Honest, Christian Co. and still want help me if need be. Thank you guys so very much. You are an absolute blessing!!

I have worked with Southern Contracting Company twice - on a kitchen remodel and a screened in porch - and could not recommend this company more. I have worked with Mike, who is punctual, responsive, and communicative. The work was done quickly and with high quality. I'm so pleased with the work that has been completed, and will continue to reach out to them in the future with more projects. I can't thank Mike enough!

Overall Thoughts: I contacted Southern Contracting to come out and replace a large sliding glass door at my house. The old door shattered and I had a gaping hole where the door was!

The team came out that day and boarded up the door to keep weather (and animals) out.

Of course, supply chain issues made getting a large door in, but the team seemingly moved mountains to get the replacement door in as quick as possible.

Once the door was in, they came out and got everything installed quickly.

The best part, when they left, you couldn't tell that anyone had been there!

The best part...my wife was happy with the work!

I highly recommend!

I will say that no construction project goes perfectly, and always manage to be somewhat stressful. However, southern contracting company was very helpful and always made sure we got the most bang for our buck. They worked long past the 9-5 hours at times so we could have our basement back as soon as possible.

I bought a house that they were managing and for two weeks I was constantly calling to talk to them and let them keep managing the property for me and no one helpful answered the phone I was constantly send to a voicemail and will not get a call back. I value my time because time is money. So if you looking for someone reliable and responsive this is not the place.

We have worked with Wilson-Covington a lot. We are friends with a number of their employees and they love working for this company. They are trustworthy first and they do excellent work. They've done concrete work, a kitchen and bathroom remodel, and some repairs for us. I cannot recommend them more.

Very very pleased with work done by Wilson Covington on our historic home’s guest house demo/new construction, and sunporch/kitchen renovation. Our project manager was professional, responsive, and was very helpful guiding us with the day to day decisions. The on-site superintendent was very much the same - always texted, called or emailed back within a day.
Our PM was great communicating budget tracking throughout the project and towards the end - no surprises which was very helpful. The finished work is beyond our expectations! We will 100% use Wilson Covington for future work. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience with Wilson Covington remodeling our kitchen and removing structural walls from our living space. When things beyond his control happened, he communicated them clearly and pivoted.
