I had them do previous work for me and they did a decent job and very well priced. Well now I’ve sold my house and am in the process of moving out. I asked to have a light taken down and a ceiling fan put in its place. He showed up yesterday. Charged an outrageous amount this time. I assume he figured he wasn’t getting any more business from me so he should overcharge me. Light seemed fine at first but after about 5 minutes started to constantly flicker. I contacted him and he said he would be out between 5 and 6 today. He never showed up and hasn’t responded to my texts. He basically ripped me off since he knew I was moving. UPDATE. the check bounced because I put a stop payment on it after he refused to respond to my texts about fixing the light. He said he would come out but never did and never answered my text. He charged me $350 to take down a light and put up a ceiling fan. He did that because he knew he would not be getting anymore business from me. So beware if you plan on moving don’t tell this guy. He will rip you off. And I’m glad check didn’t go through. I wasn’t sure I got stop payment in on time.
