These guys were timely, professional, affordable, knowledgeable and friendly. They did a great job cleaning my stove pipe and repairing some interior bricks, as well as answering my questions. I will definitely be calling them for some chimney repair in the summer. Great experience.

These guys are literally the best in the biz. I had a very very very serious issue with my chimney that seemed unfixable. Bill and Joe came out and were able to assess the problem and get it figured out and fixed within the very reasonable quote they offered. They are incredibly responsive and it has been a pleasure to have them working on my home.

Very satisfied with Top Hat! On time, diagnosed our soot problem which the other local company missed. An extension to the pipe was necessary to avoid soot building up in our condo. Price was reasonable, personnel very friendly and professional. Will use them again!

This company came highly recommended, and with good reason! I will now recommend them. From the woman that works at the office, to the guys at my place doing what they do, everything was great. Laid back, professional, friendly and pleasant to talk to. Had 2 fireplaces I wanted them to look at...they only cleaned one because the other one didn’t need anything, but they didn’t try to over-sell anything. There’s no other company worth looking into. These guys are it! Also...the top hats are classic!

These folks are awesome. Treated me like family. Had blockage in the furnace flue from a bird nest or other animal which was causing carbon monoxide to backup into the house. They made it a priority to come out quickly and clean it out and put a cap on so it wouldn't happen again. They charged a very fair price. I will definitely recommend them to everyone!!!

We usually clean our own stoves, but wanted to have a pro come and take a look at our newer EPA wood stove & have a few questions answered about it. The guys came out - on time & friendly - answered our questions & cleaned our stove/chimney and got us all taken care of.

Bill and Joe (The Top Hat Team) arrived to sweep out our chimney today July 31 2025. They introduced themselves and began their setup which included their Hepa vacuum system, drop clothes and a device to remove our Brunco wood/coal stove insert from the fireplace. Our chimney had not been cleaned for over 38 years. Bill was working on the inside and Joe was on the roof. They removed two 5 gal buckets of crud from the firebox and chimney. I was shocked at the amount of "crud" removed. I was shocked seeing all of the debris that was removed including the birds.
Joe installed a stainless steel chimney cap and Bill reinstalled the wood burner into the fire box. No mess was left for us to clean after they were finished.
In summary they were excellent and there price was reasonable!

Just bought a home and the gas fireplace made me nervous. Bill and Joe at Top Hat did an amazing job inspecting, cleaning and making sure i loved it. Would highly recommend. Booked quick, affordable and evryone was very kind and helpful.

William and his team came by our house a few weeks ago. He was efficient and didn't try to up-sell us on anything we didn't need. Prices were fair, and he was extremely informative about how we can best care for and use our chimney. He and his team were also extremely personable and friendly, and they were just a pleasure to invite into our home. We will be using them as long as William and his team continue to operate this business.

Knowledgeable, personable, and affordable. After having Top Hat visit and inspect my fireplaces in my new house I felt comfortable burning for the first time ever. Additionally, I appreciated they inspect the chimney as well for structural issue. Will continue to use them yearly from now on.

I had an excellent experience with their air conditioner repair service because my AC works like new again. The Dryer Vent Cleaning service removed years of buildup from the vent system. The efficient Dryer Vent experience was quick and easy from beginning to end. Their heating and cooling services were outstanding, and the furnace and duct cleaning left the whole system much cleaner. I highly recommended this company.
