Amazing and very helpful staff. Always a great selection

Bards just completed redoing our landscaping at our new house in Anderson and we couldn't be happier with the final results. They came out, gutted the old overgrown landscaping (including a good sized retaining wall), and had the job finished all within 2 days. Doug and his team were extremely nice and very efficient. Bob designed the layout and the execution was top of the line. They truly provide a 5 star service.

For three years now our family has made Bard a big part of our property. We buy a majority of our vegetable starts for our raised bed gardens from them each spring. Their plants have always been healthy, vibrant, and frequently out perform other starts we plant each spring. We have also purchased ornamental shrubs from them and to this day they have thrived and become a valuable part of our landscaping.

The green products are not the only draw that brings us to Bard though. The soil amendments and ground covers are always of high quality and fairly priced. The hoop houses and product displays are alway clean, organized, and easy to navigate. But what really draws us to Bard time and time again is the friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to assist staff.

From helping to determine what plant/shrub/tree is going to work best in the area you are planning on planting, care and maintenance advice, and general courteous attitude, the staff at Bard makes you feel as though they value you as a customer, whether you are buying a $5 tomato plant or a $400 tree!

Though we have not used them on our property, we have read reviews and heard great things as well regarding their professional landscaping services as well.

Our family will continue to support a great independent small business like Bard and we HIGHLY recommend others to them.

We had a great experience working with Bards. After 17 years of living in our home, we ripped out all our old landscaping for a fresh start. I worked with Bob and he drew up a beautiful design and gave me options for doing most of the work ourselves with the exception of delivery and lighting. He made recommendations of where to buy topsoil and boulders and told me how much I needed. This took the confusion and guesswork out of the process and we were very grateful for his guidance and supervision for the light install and follow-up to make sure we were all set. I definitely recommend working with the Bard’s! Great knowledge and selection and kind people.

Bards Nurseries is great. Used them for years on major projects. Highly recommend them and Bob is great to work with.

Great selection of plants and the staff is super friendly. I recently bought some plants and picked them up on a separate date. While picking them up the employee who rang me out originally realized that he overcharged me and refunded me the money. I would have never realized myself and he didn't have to point it out. Will definitely return in the future when in need of plants.

We have had Bard design and install 2 major backyard projects, most recently 5 trees and 3 giant Arbovitea. Excellent service, expertise and quality of materials. Would not hesitate to recommend this local family operation!

We finally found the best nursery and landscapers - Bard. This family runs a friendly, talented, fair business. We buy all our plants and fertilizer here. They have also built a rock wall, and redesigned our flower beds. We had gotten many bids from others but they were overpriced, tried upselling us or wouldn’t respond. Thankful for Bard Nurseries!

Bard Nurseries is hands down the best. We have been using them for our landscaping and mulching needs for years and we won’t go anywhere else. They listen carefully to your wants and needs and deliver in a timely and professional way. We are always satisfied!

I recently had 10 trees installed on my property by Bard Nurseries. Bob helped me to plan the selection & placement of the trees to accomplish the effect that I wanted to achieve. The gentlemen that installed the trees were very careful to place them just like we discussed. I was very satisfied with their work and will certainly be contacting them again for future tree planting projects.

We had the best experience at Bards today. I had two toddlers and every person not only checked on me, but engaged with my children. They have a huge selection of annuals, including large hanging baskets with tons of variety in color, and good prices. They even offered to help load the plant into my car since my hands were full. I will be back and I’ll bring friends! Highly recommend

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Ever since I’ve moved a business into the area, this entire family has given me top notch everything for my properties. My show vehicle hard scape was my favorite! Thanks for the hard work and even the easy stuff on every single job no matter what. Plow, salt, mulch, greenery, trees, hard scapes, landscape, and more.
