I work with trade vendors as a part of my job. So I have a pretty good idea of what to expect when I need one for a home issue. Legacy is top notch. Strickler was on time, found the issue almost immediately and had my ac back up and running in short order. If you need a company for an hvac issue, this is the one. Stop scrolling and call them.

We came across Legacy Heating and Cooling when the gentleman we used in the past retired. Honestly I have been blown away with the service we have received from Legacy, Chris and Strickler are very professional and take the time to explain things to you. We were experiencing an issue with our heat pump and Legacy had us covered and back up and running within an hour of my phone call to them. If you are looking for a reputable heating and cooling company, look no further Legacy Heating and Cooling is by far the best.

Amazingly detailed explanation of work and estimate. On time with a team of three and only took a half of day to replace both the A/C and furnace. Great prices on the best equipment (Carrier) and incredibly friendly customer service. You can't go wrong with these guys.

In the past 6 years of owning my house I’ve needed to have two service calls related to heating and cooling. Both times I have been able to call in and them come out same day and fix the problem! Great customer service!!

Brian Zirkle was friendly and informative. He took the time to answer all questions I had. Never once did I feel like he was trying to rush out the door. Strickler Ellis came to Hilliard, Ohio to service my malfunctioning Lennox A/C unit. He was super empathetic, kind, courteous, honest & professional the entire visit. You didn't get any used car salesman vibes or even a feeling that you were being price gouged. The technician was easy to chat with, asked basic questions to help understand & explain the issue and kept pricing very fair! He helped me to realize that putting filters in the floor vents and adding a grate a couple feet above my A/C increased the pressure on top of an overcharged system with too much refrigerant. That was a bad combination that caused the pressure safety to engage so my A/C went into damage prevention mode repeatedly until I turned it off. He adjusted the refrigerant levels and eased pressure off of the unit so now my home is cooling like it should be! Will be happy to call upon this small family company in the future as they have great coupons, are willing to work with your home warranty service and definitely know their HVAC systems! Totally feel prepared for something to go wrong so I can get these guys to educate me again in the future when I make mistakes like adding filters to the floor vents and enclosing my A/C unit a little too much! A++++++

The technicians were very professional and efficient. The entire process was easy and the company cares about the customers happiness. I felt they were honest with what we needed.

This company claims that they treat every one like family and they lived up to their word! Everyone was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful from the first person we talked to on the phone to the technician who came to our house. A huge double bonus was the cost was not only competitive to other companies we called but by far more economical! I will always call them for my needs and would encourage you to call them too!

There so quick to come out and help with our AC unit and the customer service with Donna was amazing. The technician that came out was very helpful and explained everything on my level of not knowing anything about a furnace!

This is a great company. The technician was thorough in explaining the different options and helped me to make an informed choice for the unit I was purchasing. The crew was clean and thorough. We woke up Sunday morning on February 13. It was 61 degrees in our house. We called Legacy.
They are friendly and professional. And also very affordable.
After they fixed the issues with our furnace, he stayed around to ensure that everything was running fine. I definitely recommend them to everyone.

They did an absolutely great job very satisfied with there hard work there ended up being some extra work that had to be done after the ac was installed because I have a older home but they did not charge anything extra to do the extra work. would recommend to anyone looking to have hvac work done. edit: there was a mix up and a 3 ton unit was installed instead of a 2 ton but Brian and marquees took the 3ton out and put a 2 ton unit in Donna who I talked to over the phone was also very helpfull and kind 👍

This company represents high quality and pride in their work. Chris took the time to educate myself on all the work he was doing for me as well as providing tips on what to look for in my systems he installed. I feel very confident in taking care of my heating and cooling system after spending time around Chris and his staff. Very responsive and quick to act when you have a major problem concerning your HVAC system. Chris is well rounded and understands a lot about different kinds of construction which I believe helps separate him from other folks in the industry. I would highly recommend Legacy to everyone! Legacy had been out about 2 weeks prior for my ac not cooling very well. When I was having a similar problem Chris came out the very next day. Because he said the problem should have been caught the first time, he did not charge me a service fee! That was very honest of him to say! He even topped off my Freon! Chris was very explanatory of what he was doing, very well priced, friendly, courteous, honest, responsible, and professional! I had the same experience when Strickler came out two weeks prior! I will use this company exclusively from here on out!

Legacy came highly recommended to us and we would HIGHLY recommend them. They are very friendly, efficient, and professional. They came to check our furnace early this morning and were here within 20 minutes of me calling. Their response time shows they care! When it's 7 degrees outside and your furnace isn't working they get there fast! Anyway, it wasn't the furnace it was our propane tank. Legacy installed our furnace and it's working great!

Our furnace quit working on a Sunday afternoon. Found Legacy and called. Chris answered and said he’d be there within an hour.
Within the hour, he arrived, figured out the problem and was on his way to get the part. Once he returned and replaced the part, he went above and beyond and found a safety switch that was troublesome. He cleaned it and told us it would get us through the night and would return the following day with a new one.
True to his word, he returned with a new switch and we have been warm and assured all was good.
I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a trustworthy and respectful HVAC company
