Without any problems, Tri-State Tree Services removed four large trees, and numerous smaller trees, from my heavily wooded and heavily sloped lot. I had also contracted for the clean up of a storm-damaged tree for a relative of mine, and the crew chipped every bit of the damaged tree limbs and cut the remaining tree into manageable logs to split for firewood. This work was completed courteously and as scheduled. The crew arrived on time, and everything was done within four hours. There were no surprises in terms of the quoted fee.
It bears noting that Tri-State removed a 50 foot tree behind my home, one that was less than 15 from the home and growing at the top of a steep ravine. The ground in the area between the tree and the home is not level. Tri-State brought a special piece of equipment that made this tree's removal safe for both the homeowner and the employee felling the tree. Ultimately, it took the owner about six minutes to bring the tree down safely, by himself. If you have a similarly difficult situation, I recommend a call to Tri-State Tree Services.

These guys did an awesome job. Two other companies had quoted me $9,500 for the same job they did for $2,500 (and they came in 2 days, rather than 5-6 weeks). They were courteous, helpful, and professional. I would absolutely recommend their services.

Stephen and his crew did an outstanding job of removing 8 problem trees, a couple that were a direct threat to the cabin. We are talking tall trees, and it was amazing watching the ease Tri-State had taking them down, chipping them up & doing a complete clean-up of the property. Very highly recommend this company! Office manager promptly returned our call, and the job was done within a week. Arrived at 7:00 a.m. and were done by noon. Fell 2 tall trees (one close to electric lines and deck.) Ground 2 stumps and filled in the holes. Trimmed/pruned a third tree. Put the limbs in a chipper, and piled the large pieces of wood in one area of our choice. Cleaned up debris of wood chips, branches and leaves from our yard, drive, street and neighbors. Very professional, polite with great work ethic; all constantly working.

The price was more than reasonable. I was very impressed with Stephen's crew. He has a hard working group of guys. The job's they did and cleanup afterwards was definitely a top notch professional job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Recommend without reservation. I used the online request for an estimate and was offered an appointment the next day. I accepted the estimate (which was less than half of an estimate from another company.) Service was performed two business days later (compared to a two month wait from other estimate.) The crew was efficient and competent. Exceeded expectations!

What fantastic experience! The estimator was great. The crew was fantastic. Two trees significantly trimmed, two trees efficiently removed, and two stumps grinded.. The clean up was so impressive even my neighbor mentioned it to me a few days later. One neighbor came out to get a business card from the team. I highly recommend!

Super professional tree service had two branches cut out of my 100 plus year old sliver maple that was starting to rot that was over our house. Crew did amazing job. Clean up was great, Crew was professional an friendly. I would totally recommend them or hire them again in the future.

Fantastic service. From the time of requesting a quote to the guys being on site to trim 2 trees was less than 2 weeks. I had a huge pin oak and maple cleaned out and trimmed up. Very responsive. I can’t say enough about the 3 gentleman who did the work. Polite, efficient, hard working, and very respectful. Pricing was hundreds less than other services I got quoted. They cleaned up everything- and I mean everything! I maybe found one 6” long twig that was in the yard. The leaves, acorns, branches, big limbs, etc were taken away and the yard was left in great condition. Would highly recommend them for anybody looking for tree trimming.

I had several quotes to remove two large Pin Oaks and trim another, they had the best price. The day they came, they had a large crew and started by 7:30 and were finished by 1:30. Unfortunately, my Hydrangea tree I planted this spring was hit by a limb and taken out. One of the guys immediately can to the door and said he would replace it. He did. My new driveway had spots from the tree removals, they thought it was grease and came to clean it, it didn’t help. Then they thought it was tannins released from the trees and acorns. He came back with a heated pressure washer and cleaned the driveway again. If I could rate them a 10, I would. Great service, conscientious crew. Would use them again

Gave us an estimate the same day we called. We had three big oak trees trimmed. They were very professional. They even had to work with our two drunk neighbors (yes, drunk and high in the middle of the day) watching them and trying to talk with them the whole time. They continued to work hard despite the two meddlers. Cleaned everything up. We will not hesitate to contact them again when we need more trees trimmed.

I called several companies for estimate, they were first one to respond, others either didn’t get back to me or said trees were too Narly to cut. I had 6 trees on a bank behind my house, most were leaning towards the house. Tri state was here on time, 2 guys came, roped up the trees to a skidder and dropped them up hill away from my house. They made it look so easy. This company does what other companies won’t touch. They worked non stop to get the job done. They also cut down a huge sycamore tree near my house.
