I recently moved into my house and needed to have the locks changed. The receptionist at handyman really went out of her way to get me scheduled and a quickly and timely appointment. the service member who came to the house was very thorough with the task to be completed. Also in a timely fashion. I will definitely be using them in the future for other projects around the house as needed.

Scott Horrigan is a true Professional in every sense. He developed and completed the assignment in a timely and very understandable manner. Well beyond my expectations.

Scott Horrigan was extremely professional. He serviced my fireplace and ensured that I knew how it functions.

We have used this HandyMan Connection a few times in the past and we have always been happy with their work. On this project we needed a cabinet taken down in our kitchen to accommodate a new refrigerator. Gary and his son Seth arrived on time and ready to work. They removed the cabinet and put up a piece of drywall to finish surface where cabinets had been hung. They also put up a piece of drywall to patch one other area in the kitchen. We will certainly use Handyman Connection again in the future. Certainly would like Gary and Seth to work on future projects.

We hired Handyman Connections for a baseboard installation for a client we did flooring restoration work for. They sent out Spencer R. He showed up for the job with his dog. He was not ready for the job. He thought he was coming out to do an estimate. From the start, Spencer tried to work under the table with a cheaper estimate than Handyman Connections wanted to charge. This was very shady.

He charged us $300 to do less than 200 ft of trim installation, which we paid. When he started the job he was not on time, from being under prepared. The next day he packed up his tools and explained he had another job and left. The third day he never showed up. We checked the work and it was not at all up to our satisfaction or the client's satisfaction.

Handyman Connections was contacted several different times and they state that Spencer says he never got paid. He did. He lied to them and they believed him. They will not to date refund our money and left us with a shotty job completed. We had to pay another $300 to another company to come in and fix Spencer's mess.

Handyman Connections was referred to us by someone that had a great experience. We went on that info. BUYER BEWARE, the contractors they hire are a flip of the coin.

I have used Handyman Connection many times. Greg called and was able to come earlier and that worked out well. He was friendly and professional. He did an outstanding job installing the chandelier/light fixture in a timely manner. I highly recommend him.

Derrick Ware did a great job reattaching siding on my house. He was thorough and efficient in getting the job done. The repair looks great. My thanks to Derrick and his crew. I would recommend Derrick and request his help again and use Handyman Connection again.

Damon did an amazing job with our basement rebuild. After a flood we had to replace bathroom fixtures, flooring and drywall. Damon did all this work himself. Great to only have to work with one company to get everything done and at a great price! Most impressive was Damon's drywall work. You literally cannot tell where the old drywall and new drywall meet. Ceiling, walls, they all look like new! Damon also did a fabulous job on installing the new LVT flooring and all the trim. We purchased very long and wide planks that look great but seemed difficult to manage around doorways, poles, and banisters but it looks seamless and feels great to walk on. Damon is a pleasure to work with and we would hire him again.

Scott Horrigan is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always on time. He quickly and precisely fixed all issues we had with our home which were many, including exterior wood rot around several windows and a sunken porch. He also shared knowledge on how we can make our own improvements to keep other issues from arising. Excellent work. Thank you Scott!!

11/5/19: Scott is working with us on multiple projects for multiple visits. His level of knowledge and his ability to understand not just what needs to happen today but what needs to happen now to assist with the thing we might do 1yr+ from now is just what we want. He answers any questions we have, is willing to walk you through any process, and is unflappable with pets and tiny people running around during his entire visit. Can’t wait for him to come back.

11/14/19: Scott came back out and completely reworked our wall with our TV for us so we could safely run ALL of our devices that plugged in, instead of them all being off a surge protector. In the course of this we found that the entire family room was on the same circuit as the kitchen, so he took the time to talk me through it, did say that it could stay the same, but we both agreed it made more sense to just make the family room it’s own circuit, so he completed extra work all in one day. He does an amazing job, and I appreciate his expertise and ability to slow down and talk through a problem that comes up.

12/9/19: Scott came back out, and helped replace lights, which included needing to remove a big ugly fluorescent light for 4 can lights, all with our nice new programmable switches which link up to our Echos. We took the time up front to ensure all the light placements were perfect before cutting into the drywall, which I appreciate. He is also amazing at keeping his work space clean and tidy. Yes drywall makes dust everywhere, but he vacuums and cleans up between cuttings to minimize his impact on the rest of the house.

12/11/19: last of the light for us with Scott! He created a band new circuit of lights where no lights had been before, again taking the time up front to make sure the placement is perfect before cutting the drywall. He also swapped out two lights and put in all the new programmable switches for us again. Our entire main floor lights can now be controlled through our phones or asking Alexa! We couldn’t be happier with finally having light in all our rooms of our house! Now to just schedule for drywall repair 😬.

Rob Rose from Handyman Connection did a fabulous job fixing/replacing a schluter edge problem from a prior construction. He was very careful and precise on getting the correct size and making the finish perfect. Highly recommend Rob and this company! Communication was also very good on scheduling and timing of fixing this.

If you care about your home, do not use Handyman Connection!! I made a huge, expensive mistake by contacting them. I had quoins that needed to be grouted at the top of my house, and William with Handyman Connection did the sloppiest work grouting. There is cement that dripped out from the quoins because he apparently used too much water while mixing. The cement dried to the bricks on my home and it looks atrocious. They tried sending another company out to fix the issue, and the gentleman said if he used a machine to remove the cement it would break the bricks off my home. He refused to touch the mess William created.

See the attached pictures for how a professional did the grouting at the bottom and how William trashed the top. He clearly has no idea what he’s doing and Handyman Connection is doing nothing to fix the problem at this point. Instead of offering a refund and letting me pay another contractor outside of Handyman Connection, Earl, the owner of Handyman Connection, is sending back William, who messed up the project from the start. I did not pay to have expensive stone put on my house for this unqualified company to mess it up.

After putting off coming to fix the issue for a couple weeks, William cancels today when he was supposed to come over to fix it today. He is so unprofessional and I am disgusted with this company in their work.

I have been dealing with this issue for so long without resolution. Handyman Connection offers horrible service and terrible work. Never again would I call Handyman Connection to do any project on my home.

Handyman Connection put up ceiling tiles that I purchased from Menards. My family room now has a better overall look. In addition, in the breakfast nook room off of the kitchen and family room, they repainted the ceiling that had some minor damage that my attempts to fix with some extra paint of the same color did not work. Their work fixed it right and for good. Job well done.
