After using a couple other tree companies for previous work, I received a referral from a client that recently worked with EWS. She was very satisfied. The biggest issue I've experienced with other tree companies is not with the tree but they typically grind the stump just below the surface of the ground and absolutely do not clean up the mess/mulch/clippings. Bill may not be the cheapest but HE WILL absolutely DO THE JOB RIGHT... the first time. Best job I've ever seen on a stump. The tree was a huge Silver Maple. He's worth waiting for. Highly recommend!

Two days ago, Bill and his team trimmed the large locust trees at the entrance of my allotment. As always, EWSmith did an outstanding job! They never disappoint their customers!

Exceptional service & very reasonable prices. Owner, plus lots of personnel in full protective gear, arrived on time. They had multiple trucks & lots of equipment to take down my 70 ft diseased tree. Full cleanup included and it took around 5 hours. Very careful, courteous, and professional service. Highly recommend.

Bill Smith and his crew are very professional and do a fantastic job. Bill is an artist when he prunes your trees. He will not over cut them. They clean up everything and you will be extremely pleased with their work.

Bill and his team are amazing! I have used them on two different occasions for tree removal and stump grinding. One project was within existing landscaping and the other along an old tree line where they removed over a dozen dead/rotting trees. In both cases they took such care to protect my fence, landscaping and surrounding trees. And in both cases they left my yard and my neighbor’s yard probably cleaner than when they arrived. I was very impressed with how timely they responded to my call and Bill came out to give me estimates too. Overall great experiences working with them, would highly recommend and will use them again for any future tree needs!

EW Smith Tree Service is wonderful! A storm rolled through last night and we had a huge branch land on our roof. We called them this morning and they were able to fit us in. We were so thankful. We have used them several times. I would highly recommend them!

We recently had a third opportunity to use E.W. Smith for tree service and like the first two times, we were very pleased with their service.

During a recent storm, a large 8" diameter branch fell across AEP's power lines taking them and a portion of an adjacent pole with it. Their tree crew worked through the night clearing enough of the tree so that their linemen could plant a new pole and restore power. However, clean-up after they leave is always on the homeowner.

Bill was able to respond within two days and - as usual - he and his crew were prompt, courteous, efficient and thorough. Hopefully we don't have to use them again but should the need arise, we'll call on them in a heartbeat!!

E.W. Smith Tree Service did an awesome job taking out trees and trimming many others for our company . When he was finished everything was cleaned up and looked great ! A very professional company - we will use them again !

E.W. Smith Tree Service removed two maple trees from my front yard and did a wonderful job. They cut down both trees in about an hour then ground out all the above-ground roots (and there were a lot of them). They then removed all of the wood chips and sawdust and smoothed out the area leaving just a flat spot where the trees used to be. They also gave me the contact info of a landscaper who will lay own the topsoil and grass seed. Overall it was a very positive experience. Bill Smith is very friendly and his crew took care to not damage my yard. I highly recommend E.W. Smith for all your tree service needs!

Took down a 50+ foot pine tree and ground out stump in under two hours. Good clean up afterward. Would recommend to anyone needing tree work.
