E.W. Smith took down a large tree and trimmed hedges. Very professional, excellent job, cleanup was amazing. This is the 2nd time we have hired them.

On February 10th, 2025, Bill Smith and His Crew saved the day! I had an immediate tree need and they came to the rescue. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. I am new to the area and was blessed to get professional, kind, and detail-oriented service with the first company I used.

Hired them to take down a large tree in our back yard and grind the stump. We squeezed in a couple more trees while they were here. They did a wonderful job and went above and beyond our expectations. We have yard drains and they even made sure to cover them so no damage would happen. They cleaned up all of the debri and put everything back the way it was. Definitely will use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone needing tree work done.

Called for an estimate and was told we needed our neighbors permission to cut tree branches off the top of our house. That’s not how the laws work, the homeowner is responsible for trimming the trees off their own property as long as the trimming does not go over the property line. Maybe you should look into that since you offer a tree trimming service.

We had a very mature silver maple removed from our front yard. The price fair and competitive. The crew was friendly and professional. The clean up was amazing, very thorough. We are very pleased with their performance.

Our experience with E.W. Smith Tree Service has been impeccable. Mr. Bill Smith and his team came to our farm and cut 10 trees, one of which was a giant walnut, and ground 10 stumps. He and his team are a precision operation, each expert in his job. All through the process thorough clean up was taking place, no mess anywhere that they cut. Mr. Smith kept his word in all realms of the project from the arrival time to the exact description of what he would do. He even adjusted his team’s time to grind a few more stumps than had been planned, all this for a most reasonable price. We are impressed by their safety procedures and their immaculate and tech advanced machines which produced good quality results. Importantly also, they are great to work with, answered questions and instilled confidence, and they worked the entire time , no nonsense team yet jovial and kind. E.W. Smith is reliable, expert in understanding trees and honest. We 100% recommend E.W. Smith.

Bill Smith and 2 coworkers came last week to take 2 trees down including the stumps. They were great to watch as they were like a well-oiled machine. They had a precise process, were very thorough, extremely efficient, safe, respectful and clean. Truly, the clean up was impressive. If not for the round dirt areas where the trees had been, I wouldn’t have even known they were here. They did not leave any debris whatsoever. Super nice too! I’m very pleased with their work.

Excellent job on trimming our trees. The trees are thinned out and have a nice shape to them.

I would highly recommend this company for tree removal …. they are professional & experienced …cleaned up beautifully when they were done …. I had a large white oak removed because root system of tree was rotting …. Safety issue … also had stump ground & removed …. Ask for Bill … 🌳

Had my magnolia tree trimmed and thinned out and also our neighbors tree that is hanging on our side. William was nice. Came by and gave us a decent estimate and said if you want to go with us just send by the signed form. Snail mail lost it but I called and they were able to fit us in right away. Our magnolia tree looks great. I wish the neighbors tree was cut a little more but hopefully what they did trim will save our roof from getting moss on it. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We have used E.W.Tree Service for many years for residential tree trimming and removal. This is a professional company. Their phone calls are always returned and they show up when they say they are going to. Their crew and trucks are clean and easily identifiable. Their crew is also very friendly. They follow all safety protocols and have up to date equipment. When they leave your house the area is totally cleaned up. The costs are in line with their services and we strongly recommend them.

I had a very large tree and a few smaller trees and brush removed. The cost was very reasonable. The crew was polite and professional. They came on time and treated my property with respect. The cleanup was superb! My property, as well as my neighbor’s driveway was left in better condition than what they found it! From start to finish this was a very positive experience. Bill came personally to see/listen to what I wanted done on our property then wrote out a detailed and fairly priced estimate. On a very cold day, at the end of December, Bill and his crew showed up promptly, cut down 3 trees and trimmed lower branches of 2 maples. Bill then trimmed back 5 pine trees that were hanging over our driveway. Bill left the pines groomed NOT butchered. Also, with the yard being soft, the crew "cleverly" used a winch to drag 2 trees and large branches from the back of our property to their wood chipper. Bill doesn't "sub-out" his jobs, he works side by side with his crew. He is meticulous and conscientious and makes sure he and his crew leave your property as clear of debris as possible. One final compliment to their receptionist, Susan, who is so pleasant, easy to talk to and does her job professionally!!! If you want E. W. Smith to do a job for you, call ASAP, their schedule fills up fast.

Bill and his crew were excellent. They were on time, professional, friendly, their equipment was state of the art and immaculate. They took great care protecting our yard and also the neighbors property. They cut and removed three large trees a few feet from the property line and close to our house. It was a tight work area. If you are particular about how things get done you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend E.W.Smith Tree Service.

Not a pleasant experience having them as our lawn care company from knocking over our mailbox to running over our neighbors sprinkler heads. Poor quality service.
