I have a crabapple tree that is treated for a fungus. My previous company was purchased by TruGreen. It has been a disaster. The first time I was told they came nobody had come. I was here all day. Then they said someone would come the following week and he was spraying something into the roots. He said that’s how they do the first treatment. He said the second treatment would be a topical spray. Second treatment came and he didn’t ring the bell as asked and I didn’t see the treatment being done. His invoice said he treated my lawn leading to about my fifth call to them. This person said oh I’m sure he treated the tree. The tree is losing its leaves to the fungus. After speaking to this person we realized the first tech was spraying insecticide into the roots and it should have been a fungicide. So basically the tree didn’t get any treatment until late May. No wonder it looks so awful. Every time you call you get a different person in another state. Did get one call from my local branch saying for sure a manager would be calling as she was meeting with them that very day. Well guess what, no manager called. Nobody has seen how horrible the tree looks. Dead leaves all over the ground and from years of having this tree it will be bare in a few weeks at this rate. Oh but they are retreating it for free, supposedly next week. I want a manager looking at it and I want my money back. I highly doubt an additional treatment will help. All I can say is steer clear of this company. You will be better off and less frustrated.They can’t even get their information about their hours correct on this web page. Just drove over to my local office to try and see someone face to face and they were closed!

Richard and i talked today and he provided me some additional information on services i inquired about. He applied my lawn application and gave helpful information regarding my grass. He was very personable and knowledgable during today's interaction.

Totally burned my front yard! Spent 15 minutes on the phone with what sounded like a WFH customer service rep that had what sounded like kids screaming and yelling in the background and poor quality headset where I had to listen to her heavy breathing for the entire time. I asked to speak to a service manager in my area to come look at the damage and after 15 minutes, was told someone would get back to me in 24 hours.
Look elsewhere for your lawn care needs!

Corporate responded to my review asking that I send them a email. Email sent and Tim the local area rep called, set up time to come out and declared that I had a grub infestation. Since Grub Control was part of my plan I would say someone dropped the ball. He offered a free re-treatment for Grubs and suggested an aeration and over-seed, which is also already included on my annual plan.
Sadly Tim arrived without even pulling up my account to see what had been done and what services remain for the year and no plan to make it right and bring back my yard. My front yard is still dead and now just full of weeds. I stand by my review and will never use them again and I highly suggest you look elsewhere as well!

TruGreen destroyed my lawn. After two years of their service, I have nothing but mud and weeds left. To add insult to injury, I was ready to cancel last year and allowed them to talk me into staying on another year. I do not recommend their services under any circumstances.

When I bought this home in 2016 it was surrounded by dirt. We put the lawn in ourselves and used a local lawn service that didn’t work out for me. In 2020 during the pandemic I contacted TrueGreen and found out they were a sponsor of the PGA. And I’ve been a loyal customer and they’ve worked with me. They do trees, mosquitoes, but mostly they green your grass. I am a satisfied customer of TrueGreen.

If you want weeds after 5 weeks go with Trugreen. I know I paid for the l first time special, but I didn’t get any amount of my money’s worth of anything other then weeds! Good thing I didn’t pay for the whole summer!!!

Crystal M came by with 2 other employees today. While we haven’t started a contract with this company, I wanted to highlight how wonderful our interaction was with the employees. They were all very friendly and kind and patient with my questions. Crystal was very knowledgeable, and it was very clear that she knew information about the company and that she was invested in making sure she could provide potential customers with answers to their questions. I hope that Crystal M can be given recognition and credit for a job well done today.

Purchased TruGreen lawn and pest services when we a few months ago in the summer of 2025 after moving into our almost 2.0 acre beautiful property. The grass wasn’t bad but just had weeds and living in a golf course everyone has nice lawns so we wanted to ensure green Lucious grass as well. As you can see by the pictures TruGreen killed our grass. On July 22nd they came out for their second fertilizer application and three days later this is how our grass looked. I called several tomes about it and a service manager is supposed to call me and come look at the lawn but almost two weeks later never has. They have horrid communication and. Randomly sent out a tech to give us a free fertilizer service due to our issues. I sent him away because as you can see that it the last thing we need. I have spent hours trying to communicate and get this fixed with no resolution. At this point about to ask for my money back and have someone else fix the lawn, which I almost am wondering if this is what TruGreen wants us to do. I’m very disappointed because it’s like they just killed our lawn and don’t car. It’s very embarrassing.

Ps the tracks in the photos are from their machine they use to spread the fertilizer, not our mower. Our mower is much smaller.

Update to review 8.13.25:

They told me a person would come to our home to look at the lawn still. I played phone tag with their corporate office and the local Canton office stated they kept contacting me but couldnt get hold of me, which was a lie. I finally got hold of the canton office, scheduled them to come out 8/12/25 to look at the lawn, and no one showed up. This morning (8/13/25) I received an email that my "service was complete" with a Pdf attachment that they came out and inspected our yard the day prior for "1 minute". A) we have a 2 acre yard, you cannot inspect it in one minte. B) My wife was home the entire day and outside most the day, no one came over. C) We have several outdoor cameras and no sign of a Trugreen staff or truck. A complete lie. Stay away.

they removed a red oak from my parent’s house where there was hardly any space and they got it with no problems. Great job guys, i highly recommend them.

after several attempts & estimations from other tree removal service companies, green tree was & is by far the most professional and expert service we could have hired. mr. wright & his crew got the job done in timely manner and took the extra step of nice & tidy clean up for the large & more challenging than usual tree removal we had. most definitely recommend greentree tree service: the most professional & timely, cost effective service available.

These guys are good! They showed up on time got right to work and make it look easy. They are very detail oriented and are extra careful not to damage any property.Everything they cut lands right where it needs to! Highly recommended! Call these guys first!

We should’ve known that they were going to be unprofessional when they said that they cannot be on a call to go over expectations and scope of work.. very unprofessional to advise last minute that they cannot fulfill a project that was given with enough time. Think twice about reaching out for their services or they might just leave you hanging.

They were suppose to come out and complete work on Monday at a nursing home that we had a pre construction call with the previous Friday. Mind you this job was in the works for a month. They texted me late Sunday night stating they no longer can complete work and we are not a priority on their list after the nursing home planned and accommodated for their service. The elderly was asked to relocate their cars for them. Very poor professionalism and quality of company.

I cannot recommend The Cure Tree Service enough. They were able to do an estimate and take the tree down in no time. Professional, helpful, wonderful customer service and kindness. If you need work done on your trees this is the company to use! Thank you for everything!
