Did not do what he said he would.... tore my fence up..said he would be back and fix it.. did not come back... called him and he never got back with me.... I do not recommend this tree service.... honesty is the best answer...........

They gave us a reasonable estimate. They were here early to do the job. We were pleased with the service and how well they did. We recommend them.

Chuck's Tree Service is the ONLY tree service that encompasses all the factors one looks for when seeking a tree service!!! I've called them all in the past but Chuck's is the final stop. Very satisfied. Highly recommend.

Three neglected maple trees were trimmed, thinned, raised and all dead wood removed. Crew was on time, efficient and professional. Very satisfied with the work and Great Price!

Chuck Heaton Jr. and his crew were hired by my neighbor to remove a very large cottonwood tree on our property line. I was out-of-state at the time the tree was taken down, so I did not witness any of the operation. However, when I returned home, 90% of the remaining tree and debri laid on my property. It was a huge pile of wood and debri 15-20ft wide and 60-80ft long. This debri was throughout the adjacent yard area, as well. The majority of the debri was all throughout a large flower and ivy bed that runs the entire length of my property along the property line. The debri crushed most all of the flora underneath. They totally destroyed 3 rhododendrum bushes and badly damaged 2 others, along with two other bushes. I called Chuck and asked him why he had taken the liberty of dropping all of the wood and debri on my property. His comment was, that there was no other place to put it, because his trucks were in my neighbors yard adjacent to the tree. I told him he did not have any right to put any debri on my property as I had nothing to do with hiring him and that he was responsible for all of the clean-up and replacement of the damaged bushes. He did not agree. I asked Chuck to come back and clean-up the area on my property and to replace the rhododendrum bushes that were damaged. He refused to do so and told me my rhopedendrum bushes were of little value anyway. He told me that if I wanted to buy some new ones I could buy them at a certain nursery where he receives 40% off. In my opinion, Chuck had absolutely no respect for my property and refused to make it right. I will be taking legal action against him in an attempt to make my property whole again. I doubt that he is licensed, bonded and insured, but he maybe. It does not indicate such on his bill he presented to my neighbor.

I entered into an agreement to have this guy cut a tree down. He quoted me a good price, and said 7 to 10 days to complete the work. A month and a half later, I called him, left several messages, and when I finally got him on the phone, he said he would be out the following Wed or Thurs. A week after that, I still couldn't get him on the phone. Left several messages saying call me or I will assume he doesn't want my money. He still didn't have the common courtesy to respond to me, leaving me in a bind, as I still need this tree cut down and I am preparing to move. This guy is a very poor business man. Enter into agreement with this person at your own risk.

Very happy with work that was done. Had two trees cut down and brush removed. Would highly recommend, Chuck will be the 1st person I would call if we need any tree work done.

Chuck quoted me $1800.00 to cut down three trees, leave wood and mulch. His crew cut down the trees, took all the wood and mulch. He said he would bring me a pick up truck full of split dried hard wood. He brought a single layer in the bed of his truck and said he would bring me more when I needed it. Two months later I called him for more and he acted like he didn't know me, said he would bring more wood............it's been three weeks and no wood and he doesn't return phone calls .................I would never use his service again. His word is no good!

I called and they came out the next day. Great crew, fast and efficient. Super reasonable price. Cleaned up all wood and debris. Will definitely recommend and use their services again.

He gave us an estimate for 1300 leaving the wood and set it up and never showed called and his mom passed. Ok he said next week waited 9 days and called and he said promise following week it's been 3 weeks and haven't heard anything at all. Never again and would not recommend to ANYONE period.

Very unprofessional. Approached owner about a very large piece of tree stump his guys lost off the truck in the middle of the road and left it he became very hostile. When explained I was letting him know due to cars almost hitting it. He proceeded to tell me me to get the F*** out of here and not to worry about his crew leaving the tree stump there. I don’t see how this guy is still in business. Very very unprofessional and and hostile. Do not recommend their services

DO NOT USE. I had him come out to quote a tree removal from my house. He had the best pricing, however when it came time to remove the tree he gave me the run around and excuses why he couldn't do it on the day we agreed to. I then called him for a week straight to re-schedule and never once returned my calls or made any attempt to contact me.

Would give no stars if I could. My neighbor used this service to trim trees ON MY PROPERTY. Legally he could have the overhang trimmed, but not anything on my property. When I realized what was happening I went out and asked them to stop. Multiple people in the crew were very rude and insulting to me. My neighbor and I argued and I contacted my landlord. I could not stay, as I had to get my son to school. When a representative for my landlord stopped by he confirmed that they were only to cut the overhang. By the time I got back from taking my son to school they had cut half the branches off trees in my yard, eliminating my backyard shade. I was obviously upset since I had just talked to my landlord and was told they wouldn't touch what was on my side. The crew were again very rude, and called me multiple names. I also discovered that they had damaged some of my personal property while I was gone. I had to call my landlord out again. He was just as angry as me and Chuck's men agreed that they shouldn't of touched the trees as it was against Ohio law.

So if you are looking for someone that will do something illegal for you he's your guy. Everyone else should probably find a different service.

We had our tree cut down by someone else who didn’t come back to finish splitting the wood and grind the stump. Called Chuck who was hesitant about splitting the wood and said he would arrange for lemons to do the stump grinding. I told him that I would have my son do the splitting and deal with the wood but to go ahead and have lemons come out to do the stump grinding. No one came out so my wife and I both called and left messages with Chuck who didn’t called back. Called once more and again no call back.

I will never use anyone else for tree service. Very professional, very reasonable, and it was done two days after I called him. at the very least make sure you quote him before you pick someone to do the job, he might just shock you at how fair he is.
