Was patient and very informative during the quoting process, even suggested a less expensive way to do the project, which will save money on a future project as well. I have worked with McCausland Landscapes on multiple jobs both hardscape and some additions of landscaping to our house. The response has been great, and the attention to detail and quality of work has been excellent on all three occasions. I needed a lot of work done to my backyard after having 15 mature pine trees removed. There was extensive tree roots/stumps left on my hillside as well as overgrown weeds. Kevin met with me for a free quote in the Spring. He provided me with a very detailed quote and also made sure he knew what my vision and goals were for my yard with my budget. Kevin replaced a stretch of sidewalk to the house for me that had partly collapsed and was pooling water by the house after every rain. He communicated well about the project and gave me options to consider. The pricing seemed fair as well and the end result looks great (see before and after pictures) and has already weathered the recent storm with no water pooling anywhere. My front yard landscaping was almost 30 years old and poorly maintained for the last few years before we purchased the home. Kevin was able to work with us and provide an excellent vision/plan for our landscape, essentially redesigning the entire area and making it more manageable for our busy family (see before and after pictures). Kevin and his team arrived on time (in fact about a week earlier than anticipated) and completed the job over the course of a few days while giving us detailed updates along the way. We selected natural stone which is difficult to work with and the end result was fabulous. It was a pain staking project that required great workmanship and patience. Kevin's team replaced an existing deck, grouted and leveled the existing patio, replaced a walkway, extended the patio adding a fire pit and landscaped wonderfully.

The two key members of the team (and Kevin!) were excellent and great to have around for what was a long effort. They were skilled and professional.

Net is we will use them for any future projects.

A few days after they completed the job, my dog got into the topsoil and ruined their work. I texted Kevin and his team came out and fixed it for free. What a great company! Had an excellent experience with McCausland Landscapes. We needed a retaining wall rebuilt. Kevin came out and accessed the wall explaining clearly and concisely what could be done. When we bought our new house, the patio had been seriously neglected. The patio had potential but was saturated with shoddy work and weeds galore. We called my husband’s cousin, not hiring him out of duty to family, but because we knew the workmanship, attention to detail, and outcome would be above all expectations. We were not disappointed. In fact, Kevin and his team created a product that surpassed all ideas and visions we had. As you can see, the photos show the surface and just that transformation is incredible. Below the surface, though, is an attention to detail that will make this patio last for years to come. The team meticulously completed demolition to save and reuse old materials to preserve the character of the patio. They graded the patio and leveled it beautifully. They even worked and communicated another contractor we had to have on site for a plumbing issue. We are so grateful for a patio that will host many gatherings, parties, and even just casual dinners for our family on a typical Tuesday. Thank you for creating a beautiful extension for our home that we are so proud to share.

We are so happy with the drainage work Kevin and his team completed at our house this fall. We had been dealing with water runoff throughout our yard for years, and they designed a comprehensive solution that included new catch basins, drain lines, and grading to route the water effectively.
From the initial assessment with Kevin to the clear timeline for completion, everything was handled professionally. I was extremely happy as a homeowner, to have Kevin and his crew plowing 3 x within a 24 hr time frame when chagrin falls experienced. 20 in of snow . Shows he cares about his clients and through out the last several years I have had Kevin as our plow company he has yet to disappoint. In truth, he has plowed every time without having to reach out to his company to come . That is great customer service .
