Reviews of local pros in Chardon, Ohio

Montgomery did a great job for us at a very reasonable price. They were courteous, prompt and efficient. The gentleman who came to drop the tree is an amazing worker. If the US had many more like him we would be in good shape.
We will certainly use Montgomery again and will recommend them without reservation.

I didn’t hire Montgomery. They used my property to access a neighbors trees. Bob and Justin were professional and let me know the whole process going on. They left my yard cleaner than when they came. If I wasn’t home i never would have known they took down some big trees. They came with some pretty impressive equipment and were in and out with efficiency. They provide a top notch service. I would be more than happy to hire Montgomery in the future.

The team at Montgomery Tree was absolutely wonderful. It was our first time ever needing this service of having a tree and stump removed as new homeowners. We did a lot of research before booking, and Montgomery Tree is highly rated for a reason. Karla kindly answered my millions of questions. The crew was professional and very respectful of our property. We will be using Montgomery tree for all future services.

Montgomery operates the safest and most modern equipment on the market. Crew was incredibly efficient and professional.

5 large trees removed, stumps ground, 1 birch tree pruned, site cleaned up and no damage to my lawn. Neighbors were texting me to compliment them and asking for their number.

This company did work for a house on my street, but for whatever reason parked their truck in front of my house. This resulted in my tree lawn getting covered in wood chips which I then had clean up before I could mow. I understand that this work can be messy, but they need to clean up after themselves or park in front of the house that hired them.

Hired to remove three trees. Very impressed with Bob and his crew. Completed job in 1-1/2 hours. State of the art equipment made quick work of what would take other companies a full day. Cleaned up nicely and very professional. Hire them if you don't want to mess around. Thanks Bob!

The most wonderful experience .
The tree over 50’ tall came down in the storm Friday, by Monday my yard and my neighbors were almost normal again.
They did what they promised. The tree was gone, they stomp removed and the yard cleaned.
They keep in touch with ever step by phone or text. If I had more trees they are who I would call again.
You will not go wrong

Tree fell on my garage on a Thursday night, Montgomery tree service was here Friday morning to remove it. They cleaned it up better than I expected! I would recommend them to anyone who needs quick tree removal!

I contacted Bob from Montgomery Tree to see if they could come evaluate a tree in my yard. Bob quickly came out to assess the situation. During his evaluation, he noticed that a larger tree in my yard was in poor condition and suffered from interior rot. With this, he quickly brought his crew out to address the two trees.

His knowledge and expertise quickly allowed him to identify the issues in both trees and ultimately, remove them.

The trees were extremely close to both my home and my neighbor's home. His experienced crew along with the use of his state of the art equipment allowed them to quickly and carefully remove the trees from my yard.

I strongly recommend Montgomery Tree for any tree removal job.

We had a huge cottonwood tree in our backyard that needed to be removed. Limited access to the back made tree removal a huge challenge. Montgomery tree was the only company with the equipment and skill to remove the tree from the front of the house, removing the limbs and trunk over the house. They arrived on time, were fast, efficient, cleaned up after and were very price competitive. Highly recommend for any type of job.

Bob, Robin and their entire crew are top shelf. Great equipment and personalities who worked very efficiently, took outmost care of our property and cleaned up beautifully. We had 10 companies come to bid for our job and we certainly can say we picked the right company! Thank you Bob! you turned a very concerning problem and actually made it fun.

Bob’a entire operation from start to finish was amazing. He remotely controlled the removal of an enormous tree with his mile high crane and claw and one guy in a bucket! It was even fun to watch. The giant stump was ground immediately after and all in all, about 3.5 hours to do, including clean up. Highly recommend his services.

My neighbor and I had a couple of mature ash trees that were dying. The trees were very close to our garages and homes, and would need some expertise in taking them down. I hired Montgomery because their quote was very reasonable. I did not expect what happened next. Montgomery showed up with an army of heavy equipment and crew who methodically and efficiently took down two large trees like it was nothing. This was not your typical tree removal service! We were all amazed and even our neighbors came out of there homes to watch. They had this special crane that would grab parts of the trees, cut them, and hoist it over to a waiting crew. I was impressed at their safety procedures and attention to detail. They cleaned up nicely and left us with our mouths hanging open. Strong work guys!

DO NOT do business with this company. They will come and take down trees on your property without confirming or verifying ownership of the property. They removed $50k worth of trees from our property (without us knowing) and they have no interest in making things right due to their negligence. They only care about being right and playing the victim. NOT a company to support in my community. Stay far away. (Them trying to claim us as scam artists is just a sign of their arrogance. Perfect example of the owner's character.)

The Montgomery Tree & Stump Removal Company is professional, punctual, and very reasonablely priced. Bob came on a Sunday morning to give me an estimate.
His workers uniforms were emaculate. The uniformity, skill and presision of the workers was excellent. Their trucks, equipment and technology were truly impressive.
I will recommend this company without hesitation. I will have them back for some stump work very soon.
THANKS, Bob for a GREAT job.... Well done.

Had a large cottonwood and 2 small maples removed that were next to my house. Once equipment was set up they had them out in under 3 hours. The crew worked together swiftly and safely and cleaned up when things were done. I would highly recommend them if you need to have work done.

Modern equipment and the careful, detail-oriented team took down two of my old trees and did an amazing job. One of the trees was growing around power lines and they handled it so well. No stress for me and everything is cleaned up. Would highly recommend.

I was really impressed with the effectiveness and professionalism of this 4 men team. With the Machinery and equipment ,..the job took around 3 hours to complete. You can tell they have been doing this for a little while. Bob was timely and professional and the background support team communicated well. I coudn't ask for a better outcome. I will add that the trees were next to the house and power lines,..and not every company contacted was willing to bid/take the job. I'm very pleased with the service provided.

Bob and his team were amazing. Our hazardous ~200 year old behemoth maple needed to come down and they did it quickly and safely. I called him for a free estimate and he was there the next day with a better price than the competition. He scheduled the tree removal for the next week, showed up on time and did an outstanding job explaining the process. They cleaned up all the debris in my yard and the neighbors yard as well and even moved patio furniture to prevent damage. Thank you!

Montgomery tree service was by far the best value for the price. In addition, the work was done with great care and detail. My yard was neat and clean when they were finished. Bob and Karla were very easy to work with. I wish I could find contractors of their quality for all my home projects. Thanks for making it stress free and affordable. Your equipment was also amazing to see at work.

I needed to have two trees removed (one in front and one in back), so I got several estimates including one from Montgomery. Bob came out when he said he would, was knowledgeable and friendly, thoughtfully considered the limited access available to my backyard, and gave me a competitive (emailed) quote. While it took a few weeks to get the job done due to scheduling issues, the work was completed last week and I was very pleased. The guys were professional, focused, and careful; they cleaned everything up nicely. I have already recommended this service to others and will continue to do so!
