Constraction reviews in Cincinnati, Ohio

We recently worked with Zach and his team at Codex Homes, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. They showed incredible attention to detail, communicated clearly at every stage, and—something that’s rare these days—showed up on time every single day.

The entire process was smooth, well-organized, and stress-free. Zach listened to our ideas, offered great suggestions, and made sure everything was completed to the highest standard. The end result is beautiful, functional, and exactly what we had envisioned.

We’re extremely happy with both the process and the final outcome, and we highly recommend Codex Homes to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and dependable service.

Zach and his team were great to work with. We had a lot of ideas when we bought our 1991 built home. He listened to what we wanted to do, offered realistic feedback, coordinated with us to do some of the work ourselves to save money, and sent reliable workers (drywall, electrical, plumbing) who did their jobs well. He even came back to add some cabinet trim after we finally installed tile ourselves a year and a half later.

We had an outstanding experience with Codex Homes. They were highly organized, maintaining excellent communication throughout the entire process. Our remodeled kitchen, living room and bathroom are absolutely beautiful. Everything was done with precision and attention to detail. The team kept the work area clean and tidy every day. Response times were quick and they exceeded expectations, staying on budget without sacrificing quality. We highly recommend Zach West and Codex homes! Can’t wait for our next project !

Codex Homes is amazing! Their attention to detail, cleanliness and communication is unmatched. Both home renovation projects were completed on time and better than I could have imagined. They are a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy team who truly care about delivering excellent results.

I’ve used Codex home for many renovations around my house. They are always professional, get things done in a timely manner and are priced fair. I’d highly recommend them!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rock Island Realty on a project to build a front porch for my home, and I am thrilled with the results! From start to finish, the project was managed with professionalism, attention to detail, and clear communication.

What I love most about the porch is the exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. The nickel gap ceiling detail is absolutely stunning and adds a touch of elegance to the space. The custom corbels and square column details are beautifully executed and have become a focal point of my home's exterior. The porch is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, thanks to the creative design and execution by Rock Island Realty.

Additionally, the project management was outstanding. They kept me informed every step of the way, from the initial consultation to the final walkthrough. They were always available to answer any questions I had and made sure to address any concerns promptly. Their team was efficient and respectful of my property, leaving the job site clean and tidy at the end of each day.

Overall, I am beyond pleased with my experience working with Rock Island Realty. They delivered exactly what they promised, on time and on budget, and went above and beyond my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a reliable, talented general contractor, I highly recommend Rock Island Realty for their exceptional craftsmanship and outstanding project management.

I recently had Rock Island completely gut and renovate my 1950’s bathroom.
They showed up on time and coordinated every step of the process with me along the way. They gave me everything that I asked for and some.
My new bathroom is amazing. I highly recommend working this crew! Clean orderly sufficient go out of the way to accommodate!

Jose came out and built a deck for us. It took less than a week and the results were very nice. Satisfied client

Great

Called them for a tub repair and plumbing. He came out to check my situation and did repairs all in the same day!! Price was fair...what more could i ask for? Great job....

Outstanding General Contractor with an attractive new set of offices on East 8th Street in downtown Cincinnati, near Arnold's restaurant. Many of their office managers and field staff have been with them for a considerable period of time, a valuable asset in a GC handling a great many local clients.

These guys are the BEST! They are very professional, yet personable people. What started as a kitchen remodel, quickly turned into a catastrophe for me. I called the pros and the rest is history. Everything from new floors to having to beef up our ceiling joists. Hanging kitchen cabinets and rerouting some plumbing. My wife and I could not be happier. We feel like we live in a new house! Thank you so much!

The Biehl Brothers were on time, and within our budget. Our deck was deemed a hazard, and we needed someone to replace it so our rental property was up to code. They were FANTASTIC! We ended up hiring them for our own house for a complete bathroom remodel, and a new roof. Top notch service pros! One of the best contractors in Cincinnati.
