Home Depot customer service is a complete joke. Had carpet and vinyl installed worth a total of about $2200. Yes I understand this isn't a huge amount of money to some of you, but to me that is a lot of money. First lets start off with the first day of installation, vinyl. My husband specifically said he wanted the vinyl to run a certain way and was told that would be no problem. The installer did not run the vinyl in the direction we wanted. Also, we had a square of vinyl installed by the back door, this vinyl ran the opposite direction of the vinyl in the kitchen and entry way. Called and complained about that, they came back out another day to fix this. However, it was not fixed, the vinyl by the back door was replaced to match the direction of the vinyl in the kitchen and the entry way, again not the direction we wanted. While that installer was here, the trim around the door frame got messed up. They had to replace that. When the carpet was installed, they installed gold strips around the edge, we asked for silver. The carpet job was not finished, as we were left with bubbles in the carpet and were told to keep moving heavy furniture on top of the bubbles to smooth it out and they would be back in a few days to fix it. The bubbles did not go away. The carpet we ordered was a discontinued item and we were told we could not get carpet like that again, however, conveniently they had the "same" carpet and re installed it again with new carpet and the silver strips. This carpet is definitely not the same, as it is not as soft as the previously installed carpet. Once those installers left, my house was a mess, there was a pop can left on my tv stand, and carpet pieces everywhere, shavings of carpet and everything. Also when they came back to fix my door trim, they left pieces of wood just sitting outside. This entire process took an entire month, and entire month of not being able to put my house back together. The only compensation offered is a lousy $271! I will never purchase anything from Home Depot ever again. There have been many phone calls back and forth and this has been a horrible experience all around. Everyone has been very rude and not helpful at all! This is now almost the middle of May and this has been going on since February. Horrible company, horrible customer service.

Did not use home services. Still a great store!! We got everything we needed. Was easy to find. Come see for yourself. You won't be disappointed!

Was in store Wed 10/5, 2p.m.ish, needed 15 pieces of 16' trim cut. Karen am hubby are in the trim aisle with me yammering on about what trim to use. I found my trim and sought out an associate to cut it, found an employee that could help, on the way back towards the saw, Karen and hubbs are putting the tiny 1/4" x 1/4" x 6' piece of "trim" (square dowel rod maybe ?) On the giant 12" table saw ! Employee tells Karen amd hubbs to not touch the saw, well of course she starts blathering that they weren't going to turn it on and yada yada, anywho employee guy cuts this tiny piece of trim on this giant saw and Karen was still carrying on. I had to turn my back on her when she started blathering in my direction. They finally left and my guy did a fantastic job getting an actual pile of trim cut. TLDR, there are good people out there in the retail world and Karen's suck. Cheers to table saw guy !

Zach and his team were great to work with. We had a lot of ideas when we bought our 1991 built home. He listened to what we wanted to do, offered realistic feedback, coordinated with us to do some of the work ourselves to save money, and sent reliable workers (drywall, electrical, plumbing) who did their jobs well. He even came back to add some cabinet trim after we finally installed tile ourselves a year and a half later.

We had an outstanding experience with Codex Homes. They were highly organized, maintaining excellent communication throughout the entire process. Our remodeled kitchen, living room and bathroom are absolutely beautiful. Everything was done with precision and attention to detail. The team kept the work area clean and tidy every day. Response times were quick and they exceeded expectations, staying on budget without sacrificing quality. We highly recommend Zach West and Codex homes! Can’t wait for our next project !
