Exceptional Service — Above and Beyond
Logan Anderson provided outstanding electrical service during a stressful situation involving partial power loss in my home. From the moment he arrived, he was calm, professional, and methodical. He didn’t rush to assumptions—he took the time to properly diagnose the issue, clearly explain what was happening, and ensure everything was resolved correctly.
What stood out most was Logan’s attention to detail and commitment to safety. Multiple outlets were affected, and he verified each one thoroughly before considering the job complete. Once finished, everything was restored and has remained stable since—no lingering issues, no guesswork.
Logan represents the kind of technician any company should be proud of: knowledgeable, honest, efficient, and respectful of the homeowner’s concerns. If his work ethic and expertise are any indication of his character, he is a major asset to his team. I would confidently request him again and recommend him without hesitation.

No issues with the front office, quote or scheduling process. The install went fine, they aroved when they said they would and started work at 7:30. However when I got home to review the work at 4:00 I was a little disappointed. There were little bits of garbage here and there from their work, some brackets, screws and other scrap was left on the porch. Small things really, but they didn't go back through to make sure everything looked nice, see the outside picture.

The other part was they left a brand new panel in the basement. Whoops.

The install on the inside looks neat amd tidy just wish they cleaned up a little bit more after the job was done.

Craftsman Electric has been doing quality electrical work for us for many years. I would recommend them even if they are on the high side for price. Quality is worth it, especially when it comes to electric.

We had a camper outlet and 110 outlet added to the side of the house. The quote, scheduling, and completion of the work was very seamless. The install team was neat and organized.

The electrician/ repairman was not only on time but early!!! He did try to contact me re. his early arrival but I was not able to meet him any earlier than we had scheduled. He was very through re. diagnosing my electrical problem with my chandelier. It turned out to be the switch. Thankfully he had one on the truck. It was expenssive to buy that one, but I decided it was worth it to just get the job done. I also liked that he had a young man with him that he was mentoring. We don't have enough craftsmen/women so I am pleased that Craftsman Electric is investing in the future.

Workers had trouble finding beam to install a new ceiling fan correctly…left a hole that I now need to patch plus they charged more than I think was warranted. (. I watched the clock ) Also left an article of clothing that hasn’t been picked up after2 days. On the plus side, the fan works and it seems solidly installed, so they did the job yet not like a seasoned, professional “Craftsman” I would have hoped for.

The electric meter base at my home failed, causing a full power outage.
Craftsman Electric came for an emergency assessment, and they quoted $5,600 for the repair. That number seemed unusually high, so I sought additional quotes from other licensed electricians. Every single one came in under $800.

In the end, I had the issue resolved same-day by another highly reputable electrical contractor for $280 total, which even included a $100 emergency service fee. Duke Energy inspected the repair and confirmed everything was fixed properly.

For Craftsman Electric to quote more than 20 times the fair market rate, especially during a 90-degree heat wave when customers are desperate for poweer, is, in my opinion, predatory and unethical. I’m seriously considering filing a formal complaint with the BBB.

Estimator was dismissive, arrogant and rude. Actually, come to think of it, downright combative. Apparently GFIs are "all I need" and I shouldn't be worried about open ground outlets because, hey, who needs to protect my appliances, right? Right?? Oh, and the 1950s-era fabric wiring is fine for him in HIS house so why would I want to replace it in mine? And the exposed connections in the decades-old loose junction boxes in the basement on the floor joists aren't really a big deal.

    You can't be serious.

Having two weeks pass post-appointment, and no estimate, I emailed this company inquiring as to status. No reply. After another week, I called. Apparently the estimator is no longer with the company. Color me shocked.

I'd say this is a pretty good indicator as how any actual work performed if I were to, in an alternate universe where this is typical, accept any offer of work done by this place.
