A.c. unit is not even 4 years old and has already had multiple issues. Leaks in lines, blower already has stopped working.would not honor the manufacture warranty or their service warranty. Would not recommend.

I would like thank Liberty for their prompt and expert service. Mike always does a great job of explaining the process and any repairs that may be needed. I will definitely recommend Liberty to family and friend. Thank you, Felecia

Amazing Company,in the business to help ,not just make a dollar. They’ll give you service you can trust at a good price. Had to call after the bitter cold, they helped and explain what Happened an how to remedy the problem. They followed up with a service call to check our full system, an didn’t charge anything not even service call. Don’t think to many companies would do that!

We had Liberty Electric out a few times. Did great work, and cleaned up nice after replacing two bathroom exhaust fans. Will have them out again soon!

Had a partial power outage that left me without power in my upstairs, most importantly in my infant's room! Liberty was extremely prompt in getting out to my house, locating the issue, and fixing it! They have always been great whenever I have needed to call them and that's why I'll continue to go back to them!

I can't say enough good things about these folks. They provide superb service at a competitive price. They have saved me big $$ on major repairs and replacing my old outdoor unit with a new, brand name unit with a great transferable warranty. If you need quality help with your electrical system or your HVAC system, these are the only people you want to call!

The owner's son 'grounded' my outlets by tying the neutral into the ground rather than installing GFCIs on the circuit or a GFI breaker for where they were needed. I was charged per receptacle and all they did was make some of these circuits potentially unsafe. Terribly overpriced for what they offered.
2/15/24:
This is in response to the person replying: No, you did not explain how exactly you grounded the outlets. If there are 2 wires in the box, you should not tie the neutral into the ground. I did not realize this was a problem until 6+ months ago when I had to replace a dead receptacle on a circuit you worked on. It showed as grounded when there was no ground wire in the box. Why am I supposed to 'check your work' after the fact if I'm not satisfied? You should do it properly the first time. You should have also fully disclosed that the proper (and code compliant) ways to achieve what I asked were either replace the breaker with a GFCI breaker or replace regular duplex receptacles with GFCI receptacles, NOT tie the neutral into the ground on the first receptacle in the circuit. I am not an electrician and I know for a fact that is the improper way to do it.
Yes, cost was disclosed before and after but looking back at the invoice, it was still expensive based on what other electricians have charged me for similar work. -
I have used Liberty Electric since 2016, when they were referred to me by a friend. I can’t say enough about their quality and expertise and most important, their honesty. They make me aware of potential problems and different ways I can save money. They are always courteous and polite.

The whole team at Liberty Electric H&C do a great job. We've had a complete HVAC system put in and water heater, and all serviced over the past 2 years. Mike and John know their stuff and take the time to explain to you. Recommend giving them a call !!

Our air conditioning stopped working the night before the 4th of July & our house was already at 80 degrees upon waking up for the holiday! I called & left a voicemail message for Liberty Electric Cooling & Heating hoping to get someone to come look at it as soon as possible. I got a call back that morning of the 4th of July Holiday & John Green came out to our house within an hour. It turned out that a power surge had caused our unit to go out & after testing & working on it out in the blazing heat of the hot summer 4th of July Holiday he restored our air conditioning! He was extremely professional & we were extremely grateful for his quick response to fix our system! I would highly recommend this company & John Green! Extremely professional & he's a class act & knew exactly what he was doing! Thank YOU, John Green & Liberty Electric Cooling & Heating!

We have used the folks at Liberty Electric since 2011. Over the years, we've had a whole AC system, furnace, and multiple ceiling fans installed. We've also used them to maintain the inside and outside units. Couldn't be happier. Professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. When it comes time to replace our water heater, we will use them again. Thanks for the great work.

This was my first experience with Liberty Heating and Cooling. I had a furnace cleaning/tune up. Mike was our technician and I was extremely impressed with his knowledge. He spent additional time doing a deep clean of areas that appeared to have never been cleaned by previous companies hired to do the same thing. He also took the time to give me additional advice on keeping a more consistent temperature in the summer between the 2 stories of my home. He was personable and did not try to sell me anything additional (which I am sure he could have if he wanted to). After all, the technicians are the experts and we need to be able to trust them. I will certainly call Liberty for my next service. I also found out that they replace water heaters and sump pumps. I figured they were just HVAC.

John and Mike from Liberty Electric are extremely knowledgeable, reliable and thorough. They do high quality work and provide good customer service. I’ve been their client for around 10 years now. They take however long is needed to figure out what your electric/ac/furnace issue is and find the best solution that works for you and try to give you options and recommendations. I recently lost electricity in one part of my house. They were extremely thorough in locating where the problem originated and took however long was needed to do so. Very trustworthy, take pride in the work they do. Highly recommend!

REVIEW Liberty Electric HVAC
Called John 1 week ago, we had some remodeling of our lights in kitchen and dining room. John came to inspect, got us an estimate for work 7 days later. He and his son Mike were here on time, were very clean and quite thorough. Left wife and I smiling with glee 3 1/2 hours later. It looks fantastic, we’re having them right back for basement lighting remodeling. Without hesitation, would rate them 5 stars for rapidness, cleanliness, economy, etc. Thank you so much John and Mike, hope to see you soonest for next job. -
They did an awesome job. Only contractors out of five that Forest Park inspectors didn't have a problem. They know the codes for city, state, and national. Their work is rock solid, and the value of their services is surprisingly amazing. Thier did our service drop replacement after a storm damaged it. They also ran a new service line to the basement when the basement waterproof worked failed the electric part. After witnessing their top-notch work, we decided to get 2 inside light fixture replace and 4 outside light fixture replace. They never disappoint us and will recommend them to anyone, and most importantly I will use them anytime I need electrical work done.....they are a keeper.

John and his son installed a Tesla charger for us in our garage. It was as far from the electrical panel as you could get, but they did an amazing job. They were able to reconfigure our electrical panel to make room for the Tesla circuit breaker, routed the wiring through the basement where you don’t even notice it, and up into the garage exactly where we needed it. Pricing was fair. Service was superb. They were on time, fast, and efficient. They even went through the panel and retightened all the connections, and we had them service our AC for the summer at the same time. Highly recommended

Appreciated John’s quick service. He quoted the job and then was able to complete it within the same day. Price was within imagined range for prompt and professional service. Overall very satisfied with Liberty Electric experience.

The electric meter base at my home failed, causing a full power outage.
Craftsman Electric came for an emergency assessment, and they quoted $5,600 for the repair. That number seemed unusually high, so I sought additional quotes from other licensed electricians. Every single one came in under $800.
In the end, I had the issue resolved same-day by another highly reputable electrical contractor for $280 total, which even included a $100 emergency service fee. Duke Energy inspected the repair and confirmed everything was fixed properly.
For Craftsman Electric to quote more than 20 times the fair market rate, especially during a 90-degree heat wave when customers are desperate for poweer, is, in my opinion, predatory and unethical. I’m seriously considering filing a formal complaint with the BBB. -
Kris and Patrick showed up first thing in the morning and spent a little over 2 hours diagnosing and correcting some electrical issues in our 90 year old house. Both were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and will provide an estimate for some additional work to be completed. We’re very pleased with the service
