The Purple Team from The Maids has been cleaning our home for almost three years, and we have been very pleased. They do the cleaning I can no longer do and I certainly appreciate it. When we started, it was every two weeks, but they suggested three weeks would be more appropriate, then suggested every four weeks, and it works well. Anything I request, they do. I have a 10’ ceiling in my living room with wood beams and without hesitation, one of the ladies chased down a spider web I had not been able to reach. I think you will be very happy with their work!

The purple team does a great job! Everyone is friendly and efficient and thorough. They always ask if there is anything we would like them to concentrate on, and ask us to walkthrough the house when they have finished, in case we see anything they may have missed. I'd recommend them - and have to friends!

The red team, Christine, Krissy & Crystal, are a terrific group. They work well together, never hesitate to ask me if I need anything special done, and complete the job with a smile! They are friendly while still being professional. My home feels and smells so clean and fresh when they are finished! They are a definite asset to the company. I highly recommend them!

Sometimes you need help when you can't clean on your own. I've called on this team more than once when I needed help, and they delivered. They're thorough, professional, friendly, and kind--even to my pets. I really appreciate their expertise and their hard work.

Absolutely amazing move out clean from The Maids! We had Tonya, Liz, Christina, and Krissy clean our 670 sq. ft. apartment COMPLETELY DONE in 45 minutes! It was spotless and probably more clean than when we had moved in. I was quoted almost $400 from another local company, whereas this was $245. The women were all extremely nice and even went out of their way to make sure I was happy with their work prior to leaving.

Also, I want to give a special shoutout to Angela, who was wonderful at coordinating everything with my husband. She was very prompt in calling us to give a quote after he submitted the form, very hospitable, and she went above and beyond to accommodate our tight time window. We have recommended this company to all of our friends still living in the area and would use again just for a regular clean if we still lived there.

Update: the maids have responded to my concerns and have resolved the issues in a timely manner. I appreciate them reaching out and making it right.

Save your money…

We were really excited to use the maids for a deep cleaning as we are expecting a baby soon and wanted to ensure our place looked clean and fresh. When booking with the maids I mentioned the bathrooms and ovens are focus points, and I reiterated that on the day the maids arrived.

In my initial phone call, I was told they would do a walkthrough at the end to ensure everything looked good. They did not do that - they left very abruptly which was odd.

Upon inspection after they left, I discovered they didn’t even touch the grout in the main shower (I briefly took a Magic Eraser to it and the orange stain came off - note: I didn’t go over all the grout, I just quickly wiped it to make sure it can actually come off). The tiles on the floor are also still stained.

The cleaning supplies they brought for the oven wasn’t working and I had to give them my cleaning supplies that I had recently purchased. Tonight (one day after cleaning) we decided make something in the oven and it smelled chemically and like burning. It set off the smoke alarms. So clearly they had excess cleaning supplies that they did not remove. This is extremely dangerous for anyone let alone someone who is pregnant.

We decided to take a wet paper towel to the oven - the photo with the paper towel speaks for itself.

I mentioned when they arrived that there is a cabinet in the guest bathroom that I cleared out and asked if they can wipe the inside of it. They said yes, but once they left I discovered that was not done at all.

Also apparently, deep cleaning baseboards includes taking a rag and simply rushing to wipe off dust. They didn’t touch windowsills (I’ve never had a cleaning service NOT wipe down windowsills).

When I called the next day to provide payment and mentioned a couple of my complaints, they took $20 off the clean which definitely doesn’t make up for the service we paid $360 plus tax for. I wouldn’t have spent this money at all if I knew this was the quality of service provided. I genuinely feel scammed out of hundreds of dollars.

Now at 8 months pregnant I am going to have to spend time cleaning and bending over to clean certain areas, or spend even more money for another cleaning company to come in and get the job done.

Note: one photo of grout shows how they left it, the other photo is after I took a magic eraser and didn’t even try to do a good job getting it off nor did I go over all of the grout yet.

Maid pro is a fantastic cleaning service in the NKY/Cincy area. Exceptional service from the cleaners, that were very detailed oriented. We had prompt communication from Mitch when we needed an asap cleaning, he came through! Definitely will use again.
