Joe and his company just finished up removing two tall spruce trees and trimming back birch limbs that were hanging over from our neighbor’s yard. They showed up when they said they would and got right to work. Since there was no room for their bucket truck in our back yard, their climber went up the trees trimming branches as he went up and then started at the top and removed the big trunk pieces in about 5 ft sections on his way down.
They cleaned up as they went and were finished in around 2 1/2 hours. Their quote was very reasonable compared to others. We will use them again when tree work needs to happen.

This company pruned my neighbor's 60 year old oak tree today. It was lush and beautiful before they went to work. One afternoon later and it looks like a 5 year old's drawing of a stick tree. Any arborist worth his salt would know not to remove more than 25% of a mature tree's canopy. At least 50% of the foliage was removed and in a severe drought, no less. Not only will the tree be stressed from the drastic pruning, it will now be more susceptible to disease and insects.

I see that most of the positive reviews are from people who had entire trees removed. I'd recommend looking elsewhere if you need educated and beneficial pruning of a tree.

Great work by Joe and his team. They removed at least seven trees and about 11 stumps. Joe suggested items that we hadn't thought of that would improve the health of the trees. The trimmed trees look more airy and balanced, and were trimmed away from the house. He also referred us to a pest control person to remove the hornet nest he discovered, and a fence person to fix our gate problem. All in all, a great experience!

Scapes is a great Service, they came out and removed a tree from my back yard their pricing was competitive, the crew was extremely friendly and professional. They did a great job cleaning up cleaning all the debri that was dropped during the removal of the tree and more. They even went as far as blowing off the neighbors yards and cars. Would recommend to anyone and use again myself.

Joe removed a large tree from our front yard. He also trimmed three other trees. He also removed three stumps, two evergreens, and two bushes. He also removed many surfaces roots from the tree in the front yard. It only took the crew 2 days to get it all done. He had the equipment and very good workers to do the job. They cleaned up everything. We've had many compliments on the way the trimmed trees look. I would highly recommend Joe and his crew.

Joe and his crew did a great job of trimming 3 large trees. Had to climb these trees to do the work which was quite something. They were very professional and respectful of our property and the adjoining neighbors. Cleaned up everything very well. The fee was fair, reasonable and competitive. Joe Semrad and his crew arrived on time today and removed 3 trees and did extensive trimming in our backyard. I appreciated the care they took to protect my yard and brick sidewalk and my next-door neighbor's yard (which they needed for truck access) with large sheets of plywood. They cleaned up our yard as they worked, promptly adding sections of tree trunk and branches to their chipper. They had an expert climber who went high in our large box elder tree to trim out dead branches, thereby greatly enhancing the tree's appearance. Their extensive trimming made our backyard look fantastic! At my request, they set aside a pile of chips for me to use later for a woodland pathway. I will definitely hire them again the next time I need tree removal and/or trimming!

We had Joe and his team remove three dead trees and trim a 4th one to help keep our home safe. They were extremely efficient and knowledgeable as well as friendly and informative. The experience with Joe and his team was exceptional. First of all we reached out to several companies to trim our trees, since the front tree was so overgrown and touching our house and blocking the sidewalk. We needed someone quickly and efficient. Joe was the only one who personally responded. He evaluated our trees, gave his expert opinion and emailed us an estimate for the job. He scheduled the job the following week. Joe was in constant contact with me and showed up on time to do the job. He was professional, did the work, cleaned up the yard, had the proper equipment to do the job. Scapes did a fantastic job! I had 8 large trees trimmed and 4 small ones removed (stumps included). Trees look thinned out and natural, not hacked on. It took three trips to complete but was always told what to expect & when. And there was never anything left behind; the yard always clean & neat. Overall, my property looks great. Scapes did a brilliant job! I contacted them as I had a tree drop a couple of large limbs close to my house after a storm. They were quick to respond and came out the same day to assess the tree and discuss the requirements for the effort. They told me exactly what to expect and followed through! Today (8.10.20), Joe and his team from Scapes, Inc completed the removal of a 75ft, 4 ft in diameter tree. They did an amazing job. The entire process was extremely professional from Joe's initial written proposal (including his insurance info and scheduling a 30 ton crane to assist with the project), to various communications throughout the process, culminating with the actual work itself which he was able to complete sooner than he initially thought. He completed the job for the exact price of the quote and was more affordable than 3 other quotes I received. His team did a great job cleaning up my yard and even the neighbors yard as the tree was on the fence line. One of his employees was even picking up debris by hand to make sure they cleaned everything up properly. During the process, Joe noticed some old tree clippings and debris I had in the back yard and offered to clear that for me as well. And, several of the neighbors hired Joe to clear some of their tress. I would highly recommend Scapes. They exceeded my expectations in every way.

Scapes, Inc. removed a very large tree between our yard and the neighbor's yard. They had a large crew that worked efficiently to remove the entire tree and cut up the wood for firewood in one day. They arrived on time and ensured our grass and fencing were not harmed in any way by the heavy equipment. They cleaned up the entire area before leaving, so no sawdust or branches left on the properties. They have all of the needed equipment to complete the job in a day. Everyone was polite and professional. I would definitely hire them again to work on our property.

Joe and his crew did an amazing job on a very difficult project. We had a very large tree in a hard to access backyard that needed removed, and a large oak tree that needed significant trimming. From the start, he was very responsive with communication, assessed the project in a timely manner, and gave a very fair quote. He called me prior to the project twice to update me on the timeline and procedures, which I greatly appreciated! The final product was completed perfectly in a timely manner. HIGHLY recommend Scapes for tree removal. We live on a wooded lot and had a very large dying tree next to our home. The crew was professional, careful and precise.
