D2 Landscaping did a great job with our small patio project. David's team was excellent, hard working, and professional. In less than 2 days, our 40 year patio, that was cracked in half, was transformed into a beautiful, modern patio with colorful pavers. We love it. I highly recommend D2 Landscaping.

Update: 60% of what was put in my flower bed didn’t take and died😳….so I’m taking one of my 3 ⭐️’s back.

I paid a premium price for sub par(my opinion)service. The really sad thing is that the people that D2 trusted to complete my job were apparently not suited to handle the task at hand. I suggest that everyone do their homework prior to having any work done. Know what to expect(which was a downfall of
mine)and be there when the work is being done(another downfall of mine).

Some businesses don’t care when they get reviews(good or bad). So with that, I appreciate D2 responding and wanting to make an effort to contact me. For that alone and out of respect that, to me, warrants two more ⭐️’s. Though I appreciate the owner responding, there’s something about things possibly being righted after the fact that doesn’t set well with me. I’ve already secured a different approach to take care of my concerns. All the best, D2.

Dave was extremely flexible and helpful. I hired him to install a channel drain in my driveway, but I ran into some unforeseen plumbing issues that unfortunately halted the installation. Dave went above and beyond with his time and generosity. He suggested a plumber to address the issue and even offered to observe the plumber in my absence to make sure the issue was properly addressed. I can't say enough good things about Dave!

We reached out to D2 to help clear our backyard of weeds and debris, and to tear down and rebuild a deck. David was very friendly and professional, very easy to reach and always responded quickly. He listened to our ideas and worked with our budget to reach our goals. He was often on site to guide his crews, and did not send a bill until he knew we were happy with the work. I highly recommend D2 for landscape work and deck rebuild. You won’t find another owner that has such great customer service!

D2 was incredibly responsive and timely. During a time when nobody is taking new work, D2 was quick and communicated effectively. From quote to work completed was less then five days. Dave was super responsive and able to get us into an extra evening slot to do all our mulch work and we even added on an extra service for some new sod to complete our yard!

Contracted D2 Landscaping to install a rock garden/french drain to correct a drainage problem in a corner of my yard. D2 is a first class company. The estimate process was easy. They sent a link to their calendar, I selected a day/time, they arrived on time, and I received their estimate within a day. Their pricing was fair and competitive, so I hired them for the job. We picked a day, they arrived on time, they did the work, cleaned up, and all in one morning. These guys do quality work. Both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the finished product. This is an all around professional organization. Would recommend to anyone who needs any type of landscaping work.

Can’t say enough about D2 - Extremely happy customer! I would HIGHLY recommend them. They put in a paver patio and fire pit for us. David was awesome throughout the planning process. He was responsive and very transparent about options and cost, listened to what we wanted and gave great suggestions when we weren’t sure. Roger led the install and he is a patio ninja. He was professional, polite, extremely detail-oriented and took his time to do the job right. When it was done he laid new topsoil and grass seed (we weren’t even expecting that!) and cleaned up every scrap. This is a stand-up group of people who take pride in their work, and it shows!

We hired D2 to assist us with a backyard project that included grading, laying sod, and prepping for gravel.

David made himself available for all of our questions, worked well with another contractor we were using for a related carpentry project, and then delivered great results for the job itself. Rob, one of his employees, stayed extra to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted.

I recently hired D2 Landscaping to do a thorough fall clean-up of my backyard, which was sorely due for heavy cut-back of honeysuckle and removal of weeds and debris. They did a great job and knocked it all out in a day - yard looks 1000 times better. Highly recommend David and his team - very professional and responsive throughout all stages of the process, and quality work.

D2 did a large landscape+hardscape project for us & we will not be using this company again. Had to spend too much time managing the project to get what we asked for during the bidding process despite providing detailed plans from our landscape architect & structural engineer. Specifically, ensuring the hardscape work on our front porch would not compromise the structural integrity of our home as advised by our structural engineer. Lots of mixed reviews, but wish we would have taken the bad reviews more seriously. If you do use D2, would recommend a very detailed bid/contract before beginning work.

I hired D2 to do some yard cleanup which included weeding, flower bed mulching, ivy removal, and re-grading. Dave was very professional and responsive. Once I approved the estimates, his team was onsite the following day and completed all the work within 2 days. I am very happy with the quality of the work they have done and plan to continue using them for future projects!

We had Dave and his crew come out to fill our raised garden beds with quality soil and clear out the overgrown landscape beds in front of our house. They arrived on time, made sure we were on the same page with the work being done, worked efficiently, and made sure to leave things looking great! With the heavy rains we’ve had, their equipment (not surprisingly) tore up part of the yard, but they put down grass seed and straw once they were done. I was on a call and wasn’t able to take a look until they had left, but when I noticed a few plants had been left that I wanted removed, they made sure to come back out and get it taken care of. We’ll be sure to use D2 for any future landscaping needs!

We had D2 install a flagstone walkway and tiered steps on the front of our house and are very pleased with the finished product. Everyone we dealt with was very knowledgeable and communication was prompt and professional. They were able to start and complete the project about a week earlier than we were originally told which was also great. Would definitely recommend/use again.

After owner's response: That's just simply not true. By itemized, I don't mean, "Patio = $X, lights = $Y, and mulch = $Z." I think having to explain what customers expect when asking for design options and specific prices for a project like this is exactly what warrants a 1 star rating here. To give you an idea, it was 6 weeks ago that you came out, and I'm just now finalizing the design and quoting process elsewhere.

I had them out a while ago to quote multiple parts of a pretty large overall project for my house. I wanted all flower beds surrounding the house refreshed with mulch and new plantings, which isn't a big deal, but then I also wanted to get an idea of pricing for a stone patio and all new landscape lighting around the whole house and patio. I figured they'd be here measuring, offering suggestions for design, material options, etc. etc. for quite a while for that type of project. The estimator showed up and was gone within 5-10 minutes. He didn't measure anything at all. Maybe 30 minutes later, he sent me the estimate like it was already pre-made, and it was just total price with no options or itemization. When I asked about different options, hourly rates, and etc. he responded that they don't provide itemized quotes with different options, and he gave me some other total prices for a few other materials. Again, he hasn't even measured anything or considered any design options that would influence the price. I've never experienced any contractor in any form of home improvement that would not give options and itemized pricing for certain work. Then I asked if they could just come and drop off some mulch, and was told they don't even go to a job for less than a $1,000 minimum. I don't know how it's possible to immediately throw out total prices for jobs without even knowing what the job will be, other than if you just quote everything incredibly high. That seems to be the case here.

D2 Landscaping & Outdoor Services did a fantastic job on our new basement entrance steps and wall. It exceeded our expectations. The 20 tons of river rock around our house looks BETTER than we imagined. Dave was very informative on what shrubs you plant. The workers were courteous & knew what they were doing. They completed the job in a timely manner. I recommend D2 to everyone and will use them again in the future.

D2 Landscaping did a wonderful job with my lawn, from start to finish. Mark captured exactly what I had in mind and needed, and the crew that came to do the work did a beautiful job. The cost was reasonable, and the customer service and follow-up were responsive and very prompt. I will use D2 again and recommend them highly.

Had to get two new retaining walls built on either side of my driveway. D2 was the best value and did an amazing job. They were very professional, always on time and communicated during the project. The work was excellent. I've received many comments on how great it looks. Would highly recommend D2 to anyone and will use them again on future.
