Lexi from Simplethanks Tree Care was super professional, providing detailed estimate/pricing communication and kept us posted on timeline changes. The job was completed exactly as expected and he and his crew completed the job exactly as expected. I will for sure use their services again when I need tree service. They won't disappoint.

From the initial consultation through the clean-up from my tree trimming, Lexi and his crew could not have been more professional or personable. It is clear that they all truly care about the health of the trees and the satisfaction of the customer. Dave used a handsaw on the smaller branches, and all the cuts were carefully and meticulously done. I am absolutely delighted with their work and their attitude.

Lexy and his team did a great job trimming up a large oak in front of our house. They continually picked up after themselves and left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. I recommend SimpleThanks Tree Care to anyone searching for a professional team to help maintain their trees.

I cannot praise Simple Thanks and its employees enough! What a superb experience from start to finish. Lexy is an arborist’s arborist: he has exceptional knowledge of tree biology and care techniques, and he has a team that demonstrates the same expertise and skill. Not to mention, what a heck of a nice group of people to work with. They were all so warm, respectful, and kind, just like Lexy.

They worked on a one-hundred-year-old red maple and a one-hundred-year-old hackberry tree in my yard. The red maple was particularly challenging in that it grows in a narrow area between my home and my neighbor’s house, and a large portion of the canopy was resting on my neighbor’s roof. I watched as they strategized each move to remove the branches that were resting on my neighbor’s house while preserving as much of the canopy as possible. The cuts were beautifully made, and unlike other tree companies that just prune, this crew is always conscious of holistically pruning to keep the tree healthy. They also expertly installed three cables in the red maple.

The whole crew is well trained in safety techniques, and they take no shortcuts. They took the time to ease each pruned limb down to the ground with extreme care, never hitting my home, my neighbor’s home, or the suspended wires in the area. They left my yard in immaculate condition.

You can count on a detailed estimate with prices that are more than fair and excellent communication throughout. I can’t tell you how many tree care companies I have hired over the years since I have been the volunteer caretaker of the 7-acre Mt. Washington Cemetery for 38 years and I arrange for all the tree work there, but I can’t recommend any other tree care company as highly as Simple Thanks.

Perfect customer experience from start to finish. The front office was timely and responsive to my first request about having someone come out to assess and quote my property. We talked through everything on site, answering all of my questions and providing the right level of detail for me to make comfortable decisions. On day of the work, the team was on time, running like a well-oiled machine with no surprises. The take down and clean up was as good as you can get and we can now rest comfortably knowing our problem-trees are handled. Couldn't recommend this crew enough. Will continue to use them for any needs I have. Handled 4 trees about twice the height of my house.

We have 5 acres with many mature trees. Through the years Simple Thanks has guided us through careful removal of storm damage and diseased trees. Now they trim the trees yearly and check the safety and health of our property. It is a big job and they put safety and cleanup at the top of their list. I had two different services done, a few years apart. One was a tree-trim for very large silver maple, and the other was the removal of the same tree. It had multiple trunks. I thought the work was excellent both times, and communication was top-notch. For the trim, Lexy offered a few options and also explained how he would balance the tree (and not simply top it). For the removal, he also made sure the specific truck would fit in my alley (they did a dry-run) before quoting, as I live in an older neighborhood with small properties where the houses are close together. He asked permission to go onto my neighbor's property before stepping foot on it. Work was completed on time and my yard was cleaned up. I would not hesitate to recommend Lexy and Simplethanks Tree Care. He knows his stuff, and the pricing is extremely fair.

Two for two!!! This is the second time we contracted with Simplethanks Tree Service and this is the second time we simply can’t say enough about how impressed we are with the service delivered. Whether dealing with Lexy (Alexander), Elizabeth, or anyone on their outstanding crews, you will be treated professionally, and the quality of the work is simply the best. Both crews that have come out to our house took incredible care of our yard and when they were finished, you almost couldn’t tell they had been here, except of course the trees were gone. If you need tree care, don’t bother looking any further, you won’t be disappointed.

Lexy was very responsive and answered all our questions about replanting after the initial removal. David and his team did a great job of removing our pear tree. They were quick, friendly, and did a great job of cleanup before they left. Would definitely recommend!
