Lexy and his team cut down a very large tree that was on a very steep hill side and hanging over my house. Watching his team skillfully and safely bring the tree down piece by piece was pretty amazing. Professional, reliable, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience with Simplethanks Tree Care. They were responsive and professional from the first point of contact. Very little, to no damage to the landscaping and lawn surrounding the tree that I had to have remove. This was very important to me due that they had to work in my neighbors yard to remove the tree.

I would definately recommend Simpletree. I am having them come back in the fall to take out a another tree.

I am so happy with the work that SimpleThanks did for me. After having 3 other tree guys out to look at the job none of them worked...they either didn't seem to know what they were talking about or couldn't/wouldn't give me an estimate without coming back a second time. On the other hand Lexy was there when he said that he would be and was so knowledgeable. It's a good thing when the expert you are hiring actually knows more than you about the project you are considering. Just as important to me, once the deal was made, his team was there even sooner that I hoped. When the job was done not only was happy with their work, I didn't have go behind them and clean up my yard. I recommend them highly and will surely use them again.

A neighbor had a tree removed from their backyard today so my husband walked down and asked about removing a large blue spruce that had died in our yard. They dropped it quickly without any damage. They had fascinating equipment to make their work fast and easy. Price was fair and they cleaned up well. I would high recommend them.

Lexy and his crew have been tending our trees for several years. They are knowledgeable, proactively attentive to our trees' needs, sensitive to different aesthetic styles, responsive, interested, kind, and a complete delight to have around! Somehow it is true that the trees always look WAY better when they've been trimmed by Simplethanks, but it's hard to tell HOW they were trimmed. It all looks healthy and natural and lovely. AND they clean up after themselves wonderfully! So glad to have their help.

Lexy came out and assessed the health of a tree I was concerned about in my back yard. He called when he was on his way which I very much appreciated. He educated me on how to get the tree healthy again and was very down to earth. I appreciated his candor and friendliness. Another company told me the tree needed to come down and quoted me close to $3000 to do it. I’m glad I got a second opinion from a more honest tree service.

I can’t say enough good things about SimpleThanks Tree Care. Lexy Lewis and his team provided outstanding service from the beginning of the process to end.

We first called SimpleThanks Tree Care because of the many neighbors in our area that recommended them. Our neighborhood has a lot of mature trees, of which we had two in our backyard.

Lexy came over to inspect our trees in the summer of 2018 and it was then that I realized that he and his team are not just tree cutters, but true arborists. To my surprise, he recommended we keep the large oak tree, and, rather than cutting it down, have it pruned. He provided a proposal with several options for the oak tree that fit our needs as well as our budget. He also pointed out that our ash tree was suffering from emerald ash borer. He provided several solutions and budget-friendly options for the ash tree, as well; one such option was to salvage the tree by treating it over a period of time. That summer we decided to go ahead with the pruning of the oak and postponed the treatment of the ash.

Brian and Bryan came to prune the oak within a couple of weeks and did a fantastic job. It ended up taking them two days because of the size of the tree, but, happily, the price remained the same as quoted. These men worked hard on the oak tree for two days straight. Once it was completed it looked beautiful and they left the yard spotless! They cleaned all of the tree limbs and chipped all the wood that they cut—I couldn’t believe how clean the yard was!

This past spring I again hired Lexy and his crew at SimpleThanks Tree Care to assess the ash tree. Unfortunately, the tree had died and needed to be removed. The work was completed while we were away and again, Brian and Bryan did amazing work and the yard was as spotless as if they’d never been there.

I cannot recommend anyone other than SimpleThanks Tree Care for those with tree needs. These guys are professional and have excellent customer service skills!

Most recently, Lexy and his team returned in the spring of 2025 to again prune the large oak tree. The guys did an amazing job and I'm glad I hired them again. They know their trees and whenever they come to trim the tree they leave the yard cleaner than it was before they arrived!

We had a fairly hard job for SimpleThanks. Previous owners had let 8 trees grow too close to our new house. None were easy to access by crane and over our house and on a steep hill. In collecting bids OTHER tree services recommended Simple Thanks as the best crew for the job. Lexy and his crew did an amazing job dropping 8(!!) large mature trees in one day, left our yard and drive in immaculate shape, and even chunked the nicest ones for firewood for me to split later. We could not be happier and top it all, they even had the best bid too. Bargain price for a job well above and beyond. Highest recommendation from us

I contact Lexy @ Simplethanks Tree Care for to quote some tree removal and trimming I needed. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, and his team came out and did great work. They were especially careful around some plants my wife was concerned about being damaged. They were very quick, and hauled away everything. One of the trees was in Duke's easement, and Lexy provided the contact information and tips on how to get them to come out and remove it. Very helpful! Would recommend 100%

SimpleThanks has a caring, expert, excellent team. They’ve removed several trees for us, and skillfully brought limbs down in tricky spots while avoiding nearby wires/building/ other trees. We highly recommend this company.
