I cannot say enough about the morals and ethics of this companies employees. I was in Walton, Ky today and hauling a heavy load in my truck when my tailgate broke. I lost all my material in the middle of the road. I jumped out overwhelmed with the amount of loading i would have to do while traffic was still moving. Two Ground Systems crews stopped and without hesitation pulled over and no kidding 10 willing men started helping me reload my truck. I couldn't believe the support and selflessness of these men.

After we loaded everything i offered to pay the men for helping and they all refused. I truly cannot thank them enough and if this is any indication of how their entire company operates i would have no worries choosing Ground Systems for my landscaping needs. They are men with strong morals and I will definitely be using and referring them on any of my projects!

Keep up the great work guys. Truly hero's in my book!

Shawn Leighton has gone above and beyond to help Village on the Green whenever there is a problem. We're all lucky to have him.

Holy cow, these grounds people cut grass pretty much everytime after it rains and even in temps under 40 degrees.....that's stupid and called "overmowing". I used to work in the grounds business many years ago and never mowed lawns anywhere until the temps got up to 50 or higher OR really needed cut. ONE star as right now, it's 38 outside, 10 AM and they are cutting grass in early April 2025???!! After 4 days of rain and frost also.....makes no sense. Money is the only issue they are thinking about here at our apartment complex regardless of time of year and unbelievable. Also, blowing grass around and dirtying up vehicles pisses me and a few other residents here mad. Would YOU like your vehicles covered with dirt or dead cut grass?

This team is first class. I have an ongoing relationship with them both as my real estate tenant and vendor and enjoy doing business with them in both capacities. 10/10, would recommend.

They get lazier by the week.. Now they do drive by's on their tractors with the blowers which accomplishes absolutely nothing other than blowing everything to the front of the door. If this wasn't and HOA they'd be fired.

Ground Systems just started servicing the Reserve at Parkside. Snow removal and mowing have been great. Suggestion: Instead of your employees carrying trash cans full of mulch, you should invest in some light weight carts. The side of our house is a steep downhill grade and the mulch bed is the whole length of our home. I now know why it was missed during the initial mulch application.

Ground Systems services Village on the Green in Maineville and does an excellent job! Employees work extremely hard and are always willing to get it right! Shawn Leighton has been super to work with!! He is very responsive, fair and friendly. GS has tried very hard to be competitive in pricing with our HOA and they seem to value our business.

I live in an HOA community and, speaking personally, GroundSystems has been a pleasure to work with, especially Shawn Leighton. Shawn is the account manager for our community. As a homeowner, I find him to be very conscientious, offering intelligent and thoughtful suggestions. He has a good team that does great work. During the horrific snow storm that Dayton Ohio had in Jan. 2026 where over 18 inches of snow fell the office where I work in Huber Heights had the liberties of enjoying the work completed by Chris Walker and his crew. This is the only time I have ever experienced such impeccable snow removal. I resumed work at 5am on Tues. morning. The main roads were horrible still. However, the parking lot, sidewalks, and handicap ramps were dry as a bone. Not one time has there been any snow or ice on the walks. They even went above and beyond in shoveling by hand from our back doors to our dumpsters so that we could access trash removal when needed. I would recommend this company 100 times over. They never missed a beat.
