I’ve been waiting to write this review in hopes that it’d be a bit better. My fiancé and I hired D2 to help us bring up the level of our yard, properly grade, and re-seed after our new driveway was put in this past winter and no longer allowed for rain water to properly drain. After Dave and his crew at D2 quoted us a fair price for the work and were very professional in their communication, we were excited to get the project done! They were able to fit us into their schedule fairly quickly and finished within the day they’d started (as shown in first two pics). Within 48 hours a heavy rain essentially wiped out all their hard work and well… frankly the water still sat in the backyard with no where to go (as seen in pics 3 & 4). We’d contacted Dave with our concerns which prompted a second visit and he was kind enough to tell us he’d reach out to us to schedule a day that they could come re-do the work stating that they should have used a different soil type that wouldn’t be as porous (aka we needed something more clay-like than what was used) and understood we were looking for the best result they were capable of providing. It has now been at least a month since we attempted to last contact Dave and we’ve essentially given up on our back yard that we have been trying all summer to fix ourselves the best we could (pics 5 & 6 of the yard as of last week). It all comes back to the point that it won’t drain properly still and there’s nothing we can do short of re-doing the whole project ourselves. We’d hoped it’s just a combination of a busy landscaping schedule and a lot of rain that’s holding up communication with D2, but at this point we don’t have much hope we will be in contact with them any time soon.

We had quite the laundry list of projects for Dave and his team. This included re-routing a drain, digging a french drain on the side of our home, and building a patio (which also required the building of a retaining wall). He was very prompt, courteous and professional. His teams did exceptional work and I would highly recommend Dave's company to anyone. He has a great local small business!

Hired to do landscaping and install perimeter and inside fencing on a new build. The work was so poor that I have expended almost 100,000 in remediation and repairs. Stay away. Poor quality work and materials. Would give a zero rating if I could. Beware.

We are absolutely thrilled with the final product! Our backyard patio initially had (4) 10x12 slabs in back of the garage that were old, broken and grading toward the rear of the garage. We decided to upgrade and go big....

David @ D2 was responsive, courteous and extremely engaging when explaining what we wanted. I'm happy to say, that's exactly what we got. The guys worked quick, always cleaned up at the end of each day and even fixed my wooden fence door. Can't wait for spring and summer time to enjoy our brand new patio!

Hardscape stone steps looked great until they didn't 3 years later. Apparently $20k isn't enough to get the attention of this company after reaching out TWICE about the stone steps shifting, causing gaps and having water intrusion wash out the earth below. Owner even acknowledged receipt after I sent pics. All I wanted was after sale service. I think it's more than a reasonable expectation to have this repaired within 3 years.

There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about D2 Landscaping!
I wanted to install a patio off my porch for the express purpose of having an area for my hammock, because my husband didn't want to have to mow around it.
D2 came out, gave an appraisal, we were able to meet my budget and the work began.
I thought about doing it myself and am so glad I didn't.
When I saw the effort the men put forth, Lord have mercy, I know I would not have done it to the standard they met.
AND...they got it done in one day!
David, Roger, and all the men were professional and were willing to go above and beyond my expectations.
If they had questions they asked and answered all of mine.
Ellen, in the office, was so patient with me, as we worked through details that I didn't even realize were involved.
I have already recommended them to family and friends.
Thanks David and crew for who you are, and how you conduct your business.

Fantastic patio! Wanted a concrete patio to replace an old 2 story, rotting deck. D2 replaced the deck landing and stairs from 2nd floor to a new concrete patio on the ground. We love it! These guys are absolutely amazing! David made the design within a few minutes and his guys got the entire huge job done in one (very long) day the following week. The crew worked late into the evening when it had already gotten dark and cold. Manager Rob came bye the next morning and checked on everything! Absolutely amazing company!

D2 Landscaping did a wonderful time with our back yard! The work included a new paver patio, fill dirt and regrading, and stormwater and drainage management. We were thrilled with David, Rob, Juan, Anna, and everyone who we met. Excellent communication and high quality work. When they started, our back yard was a mud pit full of poison ivy and overgrown weeds. Now, it's flat with a beautiful patio and grass that our family will enjoy for years to come. D2 went above and beyond, identifying and fixing problems we didn't even know we had and making everything look beautiful. We also appreciate the opportunity to finance the work as needed.

For the patio project, they removed an old deck and built a beautiful patio with a seat bench and retaining wall. They also added new beds and replaced all of our landscaping. Lawn Scapes is awesome. I went through a number of landscaping companies over the years before finding Joe and his team. Their crews are top notch—reliable, diligent, courteous and professional. And their work is excellent. Lawn Scapes finished a large project for us involving hardscape (retaining walls and patio) and extensive plantings, after we had to fire the original contractor. Since then, they have been our go-to for quarterly maintenance, mulching and occasional additional plantings.

LawnScapes has been taking care of my yard for 21 years. They always do a great job. They are very easy to get a hold of and I highly recommend them!
