Constraction reviews in Cleveland, Ohio

They installed my chimney cap in the cold weather to help me out..I recommend them to everyone.mike communicated with me and even showed me pictures..great job

Dave came to my house to see the wind damage. He was able tell me straight up...no bull. I like an honest contractor. When you call tell them Joe sent you...they will say Joe Who...that's me 😊

New roof installation. Excellent crew worked hard all day to finish install in 1 day. Kept work site clean throughout and final cleanup was excellent. Jeff was very helpful during process. Bottom line they did what they said they would do

Fantastic group of people, hard working, did amazing work on my house. Highly recommend hiring this company.

You cannot go wrong with Ohio Roofing. Michael and his team did a great job—fast, clean, great price. Amazing work—my roof looks so good, I love it. Fantastic!

Michael and his team did a wonderful job! They were very communicative throughout the entire process and made time for our roof quickly since we were getting water inside. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

Very reliable and worked with me to schedule the roof install a little later than the quote when I would have additional funds to pay. Did it all in one day and cleaned up nicely.

There was some damage to one of our gardens during siding installation but they are compensating us for that. May have been unavoidable. They otherwise did a wonderful job on the siding. House looks really good.

I told Dave and Michael I’d give them a shout out but if you’re concerned about ownership or quality of work there are many other reviews to read.

A big pet peeve of mine is never being able to get someone on the phone and Dawn/Sarah in the office were always quick to respond or communicate changes. Thank you!!

Very pleased overall.

They did a great job. My roof is approximately 1750 square feet total (not including scrap/spoilage). I got 3 quotes from other companies which varied from $11k to $11.5k for tear-off down to the wood deck and replacement of the roof system, excluding the wood deck / sheathing replacement. These prices also included new ridge vent and sealing (3) existing gable vents. The significant difference between the (3) quotes was with the roof deck replacement. Quotes from other roof contractors for deck replacement were $75, $90, and $117 per each sheet of OSB. Ohio Roofing’s price was $89.99/sheet. Note: all quotes were from contractors who were also on the approved contractor list from the shingle manufacturer's website, which is required for the maximum available warranty.

My roof was 20+ years old with cedar plank deck from 1968 so it needed a full re-sheet / deck replacement. Accounting for scrap, 59 sheets of OSB were used. Total cost for roof with deck replacement was $16,629.

I chose Ohio roofing because the salesman (Dave) was more knowledgeable about the roof assembly, installation process, and roof ventilation requirements, and because they included the replacement of my old 16"x8" metal soffit vents and add (2) bathroom exhaust vents, which would have cost an extra $1500 from the roof contractor who quoted $75/sheet of OSB. In the end, despite having a higher cost for OSB decking, Ohio roofing was $145 less than the lower bid.

I chose Owens Corning Duration shingles (color: Slatestone Gray), with class 3 hail rating. The new roof lowered my 2025 annual home insurance rate by $200 with Progressive.

Great company. Came out quick for the estimate. Very honest and upfront. Michael and the crew did an awesome job. Will most definitely work with them again.

They did an amazing job, my new roof and gutters look incredible. They make the process simple and efficient. Their team leader Jason was professional and curtious.

Needed a roof tear off and replacement. Pricing was fair, quality materials used. Job was completed on time. They did a beautiful job with attention to every detail. Property was protected and clean up was well done. Highly recommend Ohio Roofing!

Great customer service. Cleaned up very well. Extra care for damaged areas from raccoons and to prevent future problems. Would highly recommend them to do any work for you. Project Manager Michael was great

Thank you Ohio Roofing. I had wind damage on my Roof and Siding. No other company could get anywhere with State Farm. David Byrd Owner at Ohio Roofing got involved and things changed. He is honest, trustworthy, what he says, is what you get. Great 👍 job David. My Roof and Siding looks amazing 👏. I. So blessed to have met such a great Company. It's hard to find today. Dave , Michael and John and their crew were amazing!! They worked very hard on our roof and communication was top notch! They kept us informed and updated about what was going on and did a great job! Two thumbs up 👍!! Thanks 🙏 for all your hard work Ohio Roofing Team !!!

Ohio Roofing completely removed our old roof and put a new one in all in one day 4 weeks ago. The arrived early, and worked from 8:00am to 6:00pm tirelessly with a large crew. The owner and staff were all very professional and pleasant. They did an AWESOME job! I have already referred them to 2 people and the price was very reasonable. Give them a call!

After reaching out to dozens of potential roofers to fix damage on our rental property, Ohio Roofing Siding and slate was a breath of fresh air! They were responsive, respectful, efficient and provided quality work! Thank you!

Mike and the crew did great work replacing our roof and fixing our chimneys! Both Mike and Dave were always available to answer questions and provided great communication throughout the whole process! Highly recommend!

I am so pleased with the work of Ohio Roofing and Slate! I had a full tear off, new gutters, siding work, metal fascia replacement, and a ceiling installed on my outdoor patio. Their team was able to facilitate my (somewhat extensive) requests/clarifications for specific colors, different siding on different parts of the house, etc. Their team is professional and CLEAN. They were respectful of my neighbors property as well (the houses are VERY close together). They were fair and transparent with pricing and the craftsmanship is EXCELLENT. I would go with them again in a heartbeat. I LOVE MY ROOF AND SIDING!

Ohio siding and roofing was a pleasure to work with. We received a few quotes, some cheaper and most more expensive than the quote with Ohio. Their quote was the most reasonable with the warranty that they provide in workmanship. They were very accommodating, communicated quickly when we tried to get financial assistance through a veteran organization, I was very impressed. Once we finalized the job and shingle color we felt the job was prioritized due to the leaks we had going on as well. They did the roof in one day, cleaned up great, and came back to finish the gutter guards in a matter of an hour or two a few days later. I would definitely recommend this company.
