Great job, easy to use app for scheduling and paying

We have had a horrible experience. We just moved from Nevada and bought a home in Lorain. We don't have our lawn equipment yet and signed up for grass cutting, having bushes trimmed and help clearing the back of our property. They quoted one price which we agreed to, and within a couple of days, we were contacted with a different quote that was almost double. There was serious miscommunication between the company and their contractor. We finally decided to cancel all services except the obligation for 3 grass cuttings. They charged our account for the full amount of the services they never performed. We are talking over $700. I see a lawyer in our future.

My first experience was ok, however this time when Jeremy came back he did an excellent job on my yard. I explained to him how I wanted my back yard cut down to my fur baby is in the yard and he remembered and got it just right. Thanks Jeremy.

The worst!!! I received emails confirming the service. Every time someone came out, the acreage didn’t match with what I requested. They ended up leaving and for over a month I kept waiting for someone to cut my grass which never happened because the same issue kept occurring. The absolute worst.

If I could give negative stars I would. Been 11 days I've had 9 different "pros" and 9 different dates yet my lawn hasn't been mowed🙄 This company is just money hungry and awful customer service!!!! They never give you an answer about dates they never give you a reason why they keep switching the pros or canceling on you. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a company, very disappointing!!!

Jayson has been wonderful! Very professional and went above and beyond to make sure my lawn looked nice before he left! Would highly recommend!

He did a good job although I had to call him back because he didn't realize my yard went further than what he thought. Grass clippings were left in the part of the yard he to come back to so it look like I have brown patches and Josip is no longer my mowing guy for whatever reason, so this is one reason why low score and I tipped 20%.

I was happy to have found Lawn Starter. They did excellent & on time work. I will definitely use them in the Fall for lawn & leaf clean up.

The app has gotten better over the years. It lacks the ability to do existing service customization though. For instance I had layed grass seed in my back yard and it wouldn't let me pause service for just the back for 2 weeks to let it grow. The only option I had was to cancel, pause completely, or change crew.
Other than that, it's worth the extra cost for them to sort out the gardener vs me trying to vet people.

Very nice work from Cris Landscaping. First time using LawnStarter services. So far I’m enjoying all of the interactions. From the ease on the site to sign-up to a follow-up call after registering to the pre-contact of my servicer to the work being completed. I’m glad I took the chance.

Always prompt with good communication if schedule changes are necessary. Good work. Good people.

Deondre did a great job cutting my grass! He was on time, worked efficiently, and left my yard looking clean and well-kept. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I would recommend him to anyone needing reliable lawn care.

Joe does a great job on our lawn. You make sure everything is cleaned up and the yard is nice and neat. I would recommend him to anybody that is looking for lawn service.

The procedure to set up the service was great. I was able to hear about the procedures for the lawn and trimming of the bushes. The front and rear lawn was good and there were no extra trash because cleaned the areas after the lawns and bushes were cut and extra items were cleared.

I had service with Lawn Starter for mowing grass, edging, hedge trimming and clean-up. The price started out at $47 plus tax and fees, $53.50. When I got the bill, it was $78.50 which included longer grass fee. I was not informed of this amount ahead of time because I would have said no. The communication between them and me was all screwed up. I disputed and canceled my service. They still want to charge me for the dispute, so I canceled my card. I will put this review wherever I cans so others won’t get ripped off. Now I have to find someone else to do it. Don’t do business with this company. THEY ARE RIP OFFS OR SCAMMERS!!!

We have used Zeke not only for the lawn weekly cutting, but for additional service.
Zeke trimmed and shaped large hedges in our front yard. He has trimmed our apple tree. Recently he cleared all the leaf debris in both the back and front yard.
He is very detailed and the lawn looks amazing.
We receive compliments from family, friends and neighbors.
The cost is less than competive landscaping companies. You can request service, receive the bid and accept or decline.
I love the scheduling freedom with the app.
I highly recommend them.

I had shoulder surgery done and my lawn was getting little out of control so I made an appointment for the Lawn starter to come to service my lawn.
Jeremy and his crew showed up on time and saved the day 😊 my lawn looks great.
My backyard was little higher than I normally keep it.. Jeremy's crew has my back yard looking amazing now.
