Had my yard done 3 months ago by Lawn Busters Landscaping. I still have NO grass, even after spending close to $1000 on water. Also, my shrubs are dying in the new planting beds because only a thin layer of top soil was put down, while the shrubs where planted in clay. Instead of the clay being replace with top soil, and then planting the shrubs, as the proper way of doing planting beds. I have the worst yard in my very nice neighborhood and my HOA on my back because of Lawn Busters.

Lawnbusters did a great job ripping out my old dilapidated shrubs and planted new bushes! They were on time and responsive! Would give an excellent overall recommendation!

Do not use this company. If I could give them Zero stars I would.
They started work on my property back in June and still haven’t finished the job. Their fill dirt is polluted with trash and other debris, like paver stones, asphalt, concrete, and trash. They were supposed to rock hound. They haven’t. They were supposed to rake and grade the property. They didn’t. My driveway floods every time it rains because of their poor workmanship. They were supposed to bring in top soil. They haven’t. We got a quote from them at the end of March, they started work at the beginning of June, and now at the beginning of August they still aren’t done and keep making excuses as to why they can’t get the work done. They’ve told us that they drive by regularly to see if there’s an opportunity to get the work done, yet they asked about weed coverage and low spots which they would know about if they were checking on the site. I’m working with my bank now to reverse the payment we’ve made to them.

Update: well, more than two months after they started, they finally came back to finish the job. They didn't even knock on the door to say that they were done. They just packed up their equipment and left. Before they left, they took all of the debris from their fill dirt and just dumped it at the back of my property. As we were waiting these last two months for them to come back, we were assured multiple times that Yes they rock hounded the yard, and Yes they raked the property. Seeing for ourselves that they didn't do any of that, we still asked one of the guys on the crew about it. He said that he was here working on our yard two months ago, and he confirmed that No, they didn't rock hound or rake anything.

Stay away from this company. They're quick to cash your check and even quicker to abandon the job before it's done.

I strongly advise against using this landscaper. I paid for a lawn installation and a basic landscaping bed in the front yard, but the workmanship was poor. Devin is uncommunicative, gives broad time frames, overpromises, and underdelivers. I had my lawn done 2.5 months ago, and after 4 weeks, there was minimal grass germination in the backyard and along the side of my house, with a front yard that was mediocre at best.

Despite repeatedly asking him to reseed, the results were still far from satisfactory. I understand that starting a lawn in the middle of summer isn’t ideal, but when you pay $4,500 for a basic landscaping bed and lawn installation, you expect at least mediocre results. I ended up spending a few hundred dollars on grass seed and materials to redo the work myself.

Great company with great customer service! They helped us tear out part of our driveway to implement a pathway and landscaping across our entire front yard. Devin was great to work with, offered ideas and helped with any questions we had. Added so much value and appeal to our house. I would highly recommend to all my family and friends!

Lawn Busters did a large 3+ acre yard install for me along with a new fence, shrub and tree planting and topping of gravel in my driveway. All work performed was completed on time. Devin was easy to work with and addressed any questions that came to me during the whole process. His crew worked long days to get the job done. I recommend Lawn Busters to all my family and friends!

What a great job Jeremy and his helper did putting in my new lawn. Before they started Jeremy and I went over a few things and he even suggested some I hadn't thought of. Driving behind them in Independence and no tail lights on the trailer, a trash bag and 2 empty bags of concrete blew out of the back onto the street, and they were driving like jerks! Reminder that your truck is marked with the company name on it!

I had Lawnbusters come out and redo my fro t yard. Plants and mulch. They even laid mulch in the back yard and cut out the beds. It looks great!! The foreman and crew were polite and worked fast. Would hire again

We hired Lawnbusters to install a cement driveway, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The staff was friendly, and the communication throughout the process was excellent. Their pricing was fair, and the finished driveway looks fantastic. They even came back to plant grass around the new driveway, which was a great finishing touch. Highly recommend for any landscaping or cement work!

Great company. Devin contacted me immediately, came out for a quote, and got the work done quickly. Very fair price, the guys did quality work and cleaned up afterwards. It's hard to find companies/ contractors that want to work or even call you back. Lawn Busters exceeded my expectations and stands out above most places I have called for work.

Lawnbusters has been providing lawn care and landscape services at my home for several years. Devin, the owner, is very responsive to all correspondence. He is prompt in answering questions, providing quotes and giving input and landscape suggestions. I have never been disappointed in any of Lawnbusters work; drain installation, tree removal, tree and landscape planting, shrub care, grass planting and mulching! Lee, my lawn care crew leader is awesome! He always does a great job making my lawn look its best! He and his son take pride in their work and my yard shows it! They currently cut my grass, but have installed trees, beds, spread mulch, spring/fall cleanups and other stuff. Always is conscientious, fair, and responsive. Nothing but the best from he and his crew. Speaking of his crew, Lee and his team work wonders on my lawn! Nothing but compliments from neighbors, and a pleasure to work with. A+ from me!
