Constraction reviews in Columbus, Ohio

We had Steller Construction remodel two bathrooms and our master bedroom. They were very helpful in the design process; communicated progress during the project, and were very professional throughout. I was delighted at how well they cleaned up their work areas at the end of each day.

We can’t say enough great things about Steller! Bryan, Cassie, and the entire crew were always responsive, professional, organized, and detail oriented! Cassie always went above and beyond to source what we needed, and provide reassurance and feedback. We will definitely use Steller again for future projects!

Steller did an outstanding job with our master bath remodel. Great assistance and guidance in the selection of materials (shower tile, flooring, fixtures). Scheduling was smooth and efficient, and communication of the upcoming work week indicated both scope of work and the personnel involved. The craftsmen assigned for tile work, painting, drywall and finish work were all outstanding.

Steller Construction recently completed a master bathroom remodel project for us which included demo of our old shower & tub, installation of a new shower, installation of a vanity with countertop, tile work, painting and wallpaper. The team was very professional and easy to work with. They followed all COVID guidelines including proper masking. Cassie was well organized and kept us informed of the work schedule on a regular basis. She also assisted us with the purchasing of all necessary outside materials. Although the Steller team offered many good design suggestions, they also allowed used to choose the materials that we wanted to use such as an externally purchased vanity and bath cabinet. We would definitely consider using Steller for any future remodeling projects.

Stellar totally redesigned our bathroom and it looks fantastic. They have been very prompt with communication and keeping us up to date on progress. Very conscientious about keeping our house clean through the process has been a great help too! Thanks to the entire Stellar team for making our reno a great experience!

I absolutely love our new master bathroom from Steller Construction and would happily work with them again. Overall, they were a pleasure to work with and our new room is simply beautiful.

We had initially selected a different contractor, which was a headache. The other contractor tried to make us use their vendors and products (most likely they are financially compensated for this). For example, they pushed the use of a composite solid floor for the shower instead of my choice of marble tiles and they claimed that their limited choice of acrylic tubs (which were more expensive) were superior to my choice of a resin slipper tub. Fortunately, we were able to cancel our plans with them.

In contrast, Steller Construction was easy to work with and professional. I felt like they were focused during the process on making me happy with the new room. We had done our homework in comparison pricing and they were competitive and allowed us to select any product that we wanted. Also, they didn’t add on costs during the project. Inevitably, issues arise when remodeling an older house and they made it all work. They also allowed us to take advantage of possibilities that emerged after demolition (e.g., a higher ceiling in one part of the room) and didn’t add on costs for this.

Finally, I appreciated that they followed policies to protect against Covid-19 transmission to make the project safe for us.

We are 100% impressed with Stellar Construction! Every single step of the way they were professional, excellent communicatiors and very patient with my endless questions. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a reputable contractor for a home remodel, we highly recommend Steller Construction for the job. Steller recently completed a major remodel of our home with a complete remodel of our kitchen, master bathroom, two additional bathrooms and all new hardwood floors on our main floor. We were very pleased from start to finish with the process. Steller essentially gave us a brand new home and the outcome is truly amazing.

All Steller employees and trades were professional, kind, punctual, focused, and hard working. We were treated with the utmost respect. Bryan Lipps, the owner, was very hands-on and responsive to all questions along the way. Whenever an issue would arise in the project, Bryan and his team were very prompt in addressing and correcting the issue. Cassie played a huge role in the success of the project by maintaining the organization, structure, and welcoming open communication at all times. She had a very patient and laid back demeanor throughout it all even when we threw a curveball her way. Willie and Justin were standouts to us for our project. They were our calming force as the weeks were coming to a close ensuring us that the job was going to wrap up exactly how we envisioned the finished product to be. We cannot praise Willie enough for the quality and detail he puts into his work. He truly cares about doing a job correctly. Although there were many more, a few other standouts for us were Shawn, Shawn Jr. and Jason. Every trade involved on our job did a highly professional job.

Steller is very aware of the budget each client wants to stay within. Cassie really does an amazing job with guiding you in how to stay within your estimated budget for the materials. They listened to exactly what we wanted and would offer great advice along the whole process. We never felt as if we were being sold anything.

Steller Construction is an exceptional company who will stand behind their workmanship.
We highly recommend Steller Construction. We will definitely be using them for another project in our future. Thank you Steller Construction!

I would like to take this opportunity to HIGHLY RECOMMEND Steller Electric. Bryan Rogers the owner is a pleasure to do business with. He deeply cares about his clients and bends over backwards to keep his customers happy. I needed some wiring done in our basement remodel and needed it done quickly. He promised me they would get there in the next few days and he kept his promise. His prices are fair and reasonable. His electricians are top notch. Nice, friendly, personable young men who were a joy to have in my home. Steller Electric is the company I will call without hesitation for all my electrical needs. I would advise anyone to do the same.

This Spring I had a complete bathroom remodel with Steller Construction; because I was unable to safely use the facility, I had a bathtub and shower removed and replaced with a step-in glass enclosed shower with tile walls and floor with a lovely modern trim, new plumbing, a new higher commode, new shower, and new flooring for the bath and half/bath.
I am delighted with my bright new bathroom and love the glass shower. There are three well placed security bars which allow me to safely step in and stand up and a special shower chair, if needed.
The crews who worked on it were respectful, of my home, my needs, and Brian, the project manager was there daily keeping check on all phases of the work. I especially appreciated the assistance of the decorator, Cathy Tackett, in picking out all the materials and fixtures. Everyone loves my bright new bathroom and so do I. I would recommend Steller Construction without reservation.

Steller was competitively priced and performed as promised. The lead electrician (Rocco) on my home addition and renovation project was excellent at communicating, working efficiently and keeping the job site clean. With the help of Bryan Rodgers bidding, scheduling and pushing to complete this job, I can say they did a great job in a reasonable amount of time.

The entire experience with Steller Electric has been amazing. Bryan was fast and easy to work with on the quote and love all his suggestions and ideas with the project. Steve and Andrew were very professional during the installation and repairs. I know I'll be calling them again when I need to do anymore electrical work around the house.

If you've had bad experiences in the past with construction crews, i totally get that reviews will be hard to trust. For what it's worth, I have too and I know you're likely skeptical. I've only written about 3 reviews in my entire life and have done so only when I felt exceptionally favorable about a service or company. And Stellar Construction falls into that category. They took great care with my projects in every way, working in and treating my home like it was their own. They listen, deliver with excellence and make sure they clean up after themselves at the end of every single day. Their standards are exceptionally high and they sincerely want you to be elated with the work. They communicated well and often and are very up front with anything unexpected that comes up and then work to solve it. I first hired them to do my master bath after reading about them on HomeAdvisor. I then rehired them to handle my kitchen remodel, another full bath, floors, and railing and fascia replacement. Each time, it really was an outstanding experience. And honestly, just really nice, honest and down to earth human beings.

We contracted with Steller Construction to redo our bathroom floors and sinks. When Bryan came out to quote the project, he was very informative and professional, and due to their affordable pricing, we were able to grow the project to include several minor repairs around the house I was never getting around to! The Steller team came out and knocked all of the repairs, flooring, and plumbing work in excellent time. The team was courteous, and made sure to check with us at key points in each project, ensuring that we would be happy with the final outcome. I highly recommend the team!

I made the decision to remodel my master bath and brought in about 10 companies to give me a quote for the project. Steller Construction was the only company to hand me a folder of information when they arrived for their quote appointment. While this may seem trivial to some, to me it showed a sign of professionalism and pride in their company. Although Steller was not the least expensive quote received, I knew they would be the best to work with and I was not disappointed! I received great design advice from Cassie who helped me pick out the right materials for my vision and she helped me to stay within budget. The team was always on time and took great pride in their work. They even fixed a few items for me that I was not 100% satisfied with. While my project was little in comparison to some of their other projects going on, they always treated me as if I was their most important client. I highly recommend Steller Construction for any project you have and I can't wait to hire them again when I remodel my kitchen!

The best contractor we’ve ever worked with! Steller completed our project on time, on budget, and with the best quality and service possible. We had to manage our project from out of state—no small task— and we were blown away by the quality of work done by the Steller team. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was impeccable, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. Every person who came to our home was polite, professional, and easy to work with. They left our house cleaner than they found it, and we’ve had them back to do another project since. I cannot say enough good things about Bryan and the team!

I can’t say enough nice things about Steller!! Steller performed a kitchen and half bath remodel and flooring replacement on most of our first floor. In the midst of a pandemic, the Steller Team worked efficiently to complete our remodel. Cassie was extremely helpful and kept us on track with layout semantics, materials, and ordering. She was so responsive to all of our questions! Bryan kept us apprised of the schedule, was incredibly responsive to questions, and always had solutions and options to any concerns we had.

This was our first experience with a remodel and it went so well! All of the Steller team that came to our house were professional, hard working, friendly, and always cleaned up after work was completed. Randy and Bryan’s son were really helpful in finishing up all the last little details.

From our original consultation to the last detail, the whole Steller team made our vision come to life. They turned our dated kitchen into an inviting space that our whole family is so excited to live in. If you are looking for a company to do your remodel- look no further than Steller!!

Our vision was to update an older kitchen, first floor half bath and new flooring for our first floor laundry room. Steller Construction gave us more than we could have imagined. The transformation is amazing. We were rookies with remodeling, From the very first day of demolition to the day they removed the Steller sign from our front yard the project has been a wonderful experience, Bryan Lipps, the owner, immediately resolved any concerns or problems when they occurred. Cassie Tackett knew our vision, kept us on budget and provided constant communication throughout the project. She kept us calm and always assured
us everything was ok. Every employee was polite, professional and treated our home as if it were their own.
I cannot say enough nice things about Steller. Not only did we get A BEAUTIFUL kitchen and half bath, but in addition we had Steller refinish our hardwood floors and paint our other rooms on the first floor. We now have a new first floor in our home.
We would recommend Steller Construction to friends and family and will definitely use them again.
Thank you Steller!

We had our electric box replaced and some new fans installed. Our experience was excellent. Bryan was very attentive and thorough. Months after the install we had a minor issue (operator error on our part). Andrew came to check things out right away. He got us back up and running. I would highly recommend Stellar and will be back for any other work we need done.

We have been enjoying our 2 bath remodel so much for the past year and a half that writing a review has escaped our attention until now.

Steller Construction is a fantastic company with a professional staff and their attention to detail is unsurpassed. The company always addressed our questions or concerns immediately and never made us feel less than their top priority. The materials selected were of the highest quality and the craftsmanship is second to none. Our bathrooms still look brand new.
We enjoyed the entire project from the design, to the selection of materials (even the demolition was entertaining) and all the way through to the final phase of construction.
Thank you to the entire staff for a positive experience and without a doubt Steller Construction will be the first call we make for our next project.

We used Steller for both our main floor and 2nd floor renovations and are very happy with the results. From beginning to end (and beginning to end again 🙂) they are the best! Every member of their team was very professional and prompt and they answered any questions we had. They worked with my crazy visions and made them happen! The list of positives that we could share about Steller Construction is quite extensive. Best decision we made was to hire them!
