Super impressed with these guys. I run a construction company myself, but we realized our landscaping needs were a bit above my guys' caliber. We called these guys out and dang. I'd hire any of them on a dime if they would leave to join me. Super super impressed with their craftsmanship and professionalism.

I had a huge project that included landscaping, a pool, and an addition. That said, everyone needed to communicate b/c it involved a lot of contractors and coordination. They were great partners, any learnings and issues we faced, they were quick to resolve and frankly, picked up after others. Their crew was awesome!

These men are the gold standard of what all contractors should be. And I've dealt with literally hundreds of them for my business and personal investments. I came to them with a vision, they worked with me and found the best way to make it happen by sending plans back and forth, and they exceeded my expectations. They were friendly, timely, and the price was actually great value. Don’t go to them if you want Craigslist pricing. I’m done making that mistake. Go to them if you want a job done right the first time. I found a gem by discovering this group.

Tim and Susan and the entire group of employees at Clearwater were wonderful to work with. We took several bids when looking to create an outdoor space for our family and Clearwater gave us the most unique and creative design to fit needs of our family and ensure nearly year round usability of our investment in an outdoor space. They designed and executed on a hardscape and plantings design that lays in the land of our existing space, as i never would have imagined and incorporates our existing trees. I think it also achieves a wonderful balance of the traditional brick in the sitting walls and eating area (it was amazing brick and mortar match job as well) with the modern/room like feel of silver travertine. We are thrilled with the outcome and it has been a great addition to our daily living as we grill, s'more, fire watch, eat, imbibe, watch sporting events, blow out birthday cakes, watch the butterflies and birds and pretty much relax and enjoy the great outdoors. They have been great with following up with servicing a few tweaks as well. I highly recommend Clearwater! Beautiful work, valuable living space and great people to work with.

Holy cow! So blown away by this company. I don't usually go out of my way to do a review, but this is by far the best landscaping company I have ever worked with; which means a lot considering we are a company who exclusively does flips.The workers were timely and super kind! They were really really flexible with my schedule and exceeded my expectations with the patio and back yard. Definitely saving this contact; I won't be using other companies from here on out.

We contracted Clearwater approximately 5 years ago. The upfront communication and sales process was great. They were recommended to us by our landscape designer and priced within our budget for this project.

Once construction started, we had a few issues with what was drawn vs. what was being constructed. No one was onsite from Clearwater that was making sure what was being built matched the drawings from our contract. For example, they were putting the stairs in several feet from where they were drawn and if we had not noticed and stopped them, they would have been rebuilding the entire patio. After that, they wrapped the patio up pretty quickly and it looked great, but when we checked the overall dimensions to be sure our patio furniture would fit as planned, we found that the overall width on the patio was 1' narrower than drawn in our contract. When we addressed it with the owner, he basically said he had to make it slightly smaller to conform with the local municipality. This likely would have been ok but he had not told us we would not be getting exactly what we contracted for. It was not an end all detail for us thankfully, so we simply asked that they help us out on pricing for a walkway we needed to have added the following year since we technically paid for 18 sq.ft. of patio that we did not get. We had paid them in full for the work on the patio so we thought this was a fair solution. Unfortunately, when the walkway pricing came back, there were no concessions for the errors and over promising on the patio and they were not interested in helping any further. On principal, we chose not to work with them on the walkway.

For the last several months, we have been calling and emailing every person on the contact list for Clearwater to ask them to come and remedy several problems we are having with the patio from settling and such. We supposedly have a warranty for the work, but have not had a single response.

We have given Clearwater many years, phone calls, and emails to take care of us and avoid this review. Unfortunately, they have not.

Clearwater did a great job on our outdoor living area! We moved from Powell to Grandview and we have a relatively small space to work with between our home and our garage - much less than we were used to on the suburbs. Tim came and gave us wonderful ideas, listening to our thoughts on how we wanted to use the area. They were very open revising their initial drawings to accommodate our ideas as well. The work was done by friendly, hardworking and very thorough individuals - they even cleaned up each evening so we weren’t looking at trash, etc as the work was being completed. The end product is wonderful and we love spending time outside enjoying our firepit and dining space! Thanks Clearwater!

Tim and Susan Wilson run, by far, the best turnkey company for landscape and hardscape projects in Central Ohio and likely beyond.

Over the years I’ve had a number of hardscape and landscape companies to my home for a variety of jobs. The Clearwater Group is the only company I would trust implicitly to return and deliver on quality, design, and a finished project built to last.

The Clearwater Group built the retaining walls and steps around my pool (which dramatically improved the appearance of the project) and re-did a failing front step and stoop with a beautiful design that blended with my existing paver walk and beautified the entry to our home.

The Clearwater Group just knows how to get it done right the first time. They have the experience and there’s no replacement for that.

We can’t say enough about our experience with the Clearwater Group. Many companies say “we value our customers” or “our customers are important to us”. However, all to often you find out out that this isn’t really the case these days. From the first day that Stephen came to our home and sat down with us to design our new dream patio, to the fantastic work that Chico and his crew did all while dodging the rain, to Susan keeping us up to date on the progress from beginning to end we always felt like we were their priority.

Clearwater has done it again! 12 years ago The Clearwater Group had designed and installed a (much larger) patio in my former golf course home, so when I downsized to much a smaller home, I knew I would be calling them again! The only challenge Tim had was that this patio was one of the smallest he had designed. Having worked with him before, I put my trust in him and he came up with an elegant space that addressed all my needs. Thank you Tim and Susan for another job well done!

Would not recommend this company! The owner does not respond to texts, does not pickup calls or call back after initial conversation. We are glad we didn't hire them for our lawn care!
