I recently had an old garage side door replaced by Columbus Handyman. The scheduling and overall organization of this company was top notch. The workers were very polite and professional and they did an absolutely amazing job--I couldn't believe how nicely this turned out. While installing a brand new front door on our home, it was discovered that during the construction of our home the front door opening was constructed incorrectly. We immediately called Columbus HandyMan and they immediately responded. The very next day, several guys were out to take a look at what we found they gave me a plan of action a very detailed estimate And exactly how long they believe the job would take. Well here we are, the job is now complete and it was exactly as they stated. They were extremely professional. They cleaned up after themselves. They made sure to explain the process to me and all in all We are very satisfied. We would recommend their work to anyone who has any jobs around their home. I recently inherited our home of over 100 years, and with it a multitude of projects. I couldn't decide which company to call to do what job? I'd had used Columbus Handyman before on a small job and have seen their trucks in the neighborhood. So, I explained my dilemma and Derek did a walk through with me, inside and out. I requested two separate projects and got a quote that we then made adjustments to, and putting off one project until next year (screened in pourch). The work got done on one day with 5 tradesman. Any problems were taken care of and worked out. I appreciated their thoughts and ideas. I was kept in the loop the whole time. I was really pleased with all the work. And like I said, you're going to find other problems in a house this old. So the new problem is on the schedule to be fixed. I can finally see things fixed and working safely. And now there's the peace of mind that's it's done. Thanks to John and the team, it's really appreciated!

Great experience, the staff, from the girl who answered the phone (friendly, upbeat and helpful) to the man (Derek) who looked over the job and gave me an estimate to the man (Adam)who removed my damaged storm door and install a new one were extremely helpful and positive. I will be happy to recommend Columbus Handyman to all my friends!!!!

Will did very well with putting in the doors and Zack did everything as I asked when involving the outside light and doorbell. Both were very communicative as the process was being worked on simultaneously for the most part.

Columbus Handyman replaced a sliding screen door out to my deck. The service was professional and friendly. He adjusted the door so it wouldn't slip out of its track, unlike the old one. I was so glad of that. And the cost was quite reasonable.

Excellent service. Called in the morning, and a tech arrived early afternoon as promised. Diagnosed the problem with a toilet in approximately 10 seconds! The tech also took care of another issue with the same toilet. Repairs were done in no time at a very reasonable price. We've used Columbus Handyman in the past and would not hesitate to use again.

Had a great experience with them installing a door/wall in my house. They're very busy but they managed to get my project done within a provided time frame and it only took a day! Great craftsmanship too.

Columbus Handyman was able to quickly give me an appointment time for an electrician. I had 3 outlets not working. The technician came on time, determined what the problem was and made a repair. It immediately worked. He was here for less than one hour. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I appreciate Columbus Handyman and will call them again in the future.

Install of over stove microwave. Excellent job! Punctual, tidy and no issues whatsoever. Will definitely use again when help is needed.

Bun and Lulu did exceptional work in installing our two bathroom faucets. Prompt estimate (at no charge) and work completed the next day. Arrived on schedule and gave great attention to clean-up. Price was very reasonable and well below plumbing company and other repair services that quote “trip charges,” charge travel time and have minimum charges regardless of project. A breath of fresh air from a company who still recognizes customer service is paramount.

Your staff made sure my home was protect, walls, floors etc. while working inside my home. Friendly and professional, I will recommend to my friends.

Quality work done to our house by a professional who was very friendly. The gentleman was on time and left no mess. I was given the opportunity to inspect his work before he left. I will certainly contact this company should I have any projects in the future!

Very impressed. The plumber showed up on time. He was very friendly and courteous. He changed out my stack drain in the basement and left no mess behind. The price was better than the plumbing companies that advertise on tv and radio. And they didn’t try to upsell repairs I don’t need. I will use the is company in the future

Replaced 2 basement windows for me! John the owner was helpful and prompt in communicating about the replacement. Chris with Best Glass Block completed the job and it looks great! Reasonable cost, very happy with the work.

I had a contractor named Derrick come out to provide quotes on some much needed repairs. This man told me to allow him 2 business days to email quote. He never emailed me anything therefore I had to contact his company. The lady who answered the phone was nice and pleasant she was just as confused as to why he wrote down "he doesn't feel comfortable in giving a quote". Meanwhile he took pictures when he was here.Your a business man making money. If at any point you didn't feel you could have provided me one then you should have been transparent with me up front. You went on to tell your employee the house was clutter which where you were looking at didn't affect you. You had more than enough room to work in. Also me and my husband was here you could have asked us to move it if you thought it was going to hinder you in any way. Again I told you I just lost my mom. Also this man says he doesn't lay carpet yet on his home page its listed that he does. I also asked for a fence to be installed. He told me i should put one as is although my neighbor fence may be over there property line. I told him i would get a land surveyor just to make sure i get all my land intact. He really seemed like he was just slowful. Didn't even try to bend over while he was here. Absolutely a waste of my time and NO I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY TO A PILE OF DIRT OR ROCKS.

As for the Columbus Handyman reply. "We were unable to provide a quote as it was deemed unsafe for my employees to work there and there was no way we could have met your restrictive timeframe."

If it was unsafe then your employee should have said that. There was no reason for hiding this information if he felt that way. As an employee he should be required to be upfront along with being open about what deem to be a "safety issue". As far as a time frame there was no time frame. He never asked for one nor did I provide one because he couldn't tell me a price. Duh, don't lie if your going to be transparent about the situation do that but certainly don't lie about it. I don't care how good of a worker you think he is he failed to set a great standard with your company.

One last thing luckily I was able to get what I needed done professionally by another company with no problem.

Cam from Columbus Handyman did a great job on a variety of small tasks around our home. He was able to get an estimate the same day I called and started the work quickly and on time. Columbus Handyman runs like a well oiled machine and we will be using them again in the future!
