I watched a Driver of one of their trucks be extremely disrespectful to another Driver. It was so ridiculous that I took the time to add this review. There is no way that I would ever use this company!

They were quick and handled the project with a lot of professionalism. I'm very pleased!

We had them out to trim trees several years ago. I wasn't knowledged in what tree trimming actually is so I accused them of not cutting enough. They came back out and cut more. The office manager told me that if they cut any more that the trees would die. Our trees are so massive, that's why it looked to me like little was done. I seriously thought that they would shape the tree from the top down, but that was my ignorant self coming from a condo to a suburban home.

I know that it's many years later, but I'm sorry. I'd definitely get these people again. I'd forgotten about them when we hired the last people. They (the last people) were abysmally expensive. We are now in a contract with someone new to trim our trees again (It's been so long that we've trimmed these trees that I wasn't sure Maplewood was still around.), but I'd definitely get Maplewood in the future. I recommend them. They arrived on time, got the work done promptly, and the customer service is on top of it!

We have used their tree service several years ago to remove a dead tree from the backyard. They did a very good job with a decent price. 100% satisfied. That's why I chose to have them coming back for a trimming service for another tree. This time... Well... Not as satisfied as before.

Their sales man used very ambiguous wording when stating their job and quoting for you. You think you have stated the job clear enough, and they offeres a good price that you cannot complain. It turned out they did the bare minimum, and left the working scene without me confirming the result, even though I was right there in the house. They didn't bother knock on the door and let you confirm, they just took off. I don't mind paying more, I just want the work done. But no, what they quoted was only for "branches", not the "limb". As to what is a "branch" and what is a "limb" all depends on their determination.

I called back and hope to solve this problem, at least get the job done. Their sales representative never contacted back.

The dead "limbs" still needs removal. Will I ever go back to Maplewood tree service? I am not so sure anymore.

I wish I had been more patient and did some shopping around before going with this company. I ending up being pretty disappointed with my experience. I felt mislead and pressured to continue on adding services that I did not want. After discussing the work they completed with other tree companies and friends I determined I was considerably overcharged for some small tree trimmings and 2 large trimmings. They kept saying they were throwing in services for free and at lower costs, which ultimately did not feel true. On top of that, they did not take a large limb they said they would remove, which added $500 onto the total cost, when confronted about this I was told they didn’t need to remove it and they did other work on trees to make up the cost difference therefore I would not be refunded the $500. Which again felt shady and unprofessional. It has not even been six months since our service and there are several dead branches that seem hard to have missed. They also said they would take down ivy from a tree, which did not happen. They did damage a part of my fence and repaired it before leaving, though that feels like a given. I later had an issue with wanting a detailed record of services for my own keeping, I called the office and was given a hard time for not having it myself already. In all, I would not recommend them to others.

Excellent tree service. 70 year old Oak was taken down. Amazing work by the crew. Took only 3 hours and they were gone!

Fast, courteous, competitively priced, and wow my yard was SPOTLESS when they left despite removing a huge silver maple. There arent even shavings on the ground. I am beyond pleased with their work and would highly recommend them. Our removal was in a difficult location and they made it look so easy. Thanks, crew!

He came out and gave us an estimate, I agreed on the work /price , was scheduled to work on my trees on two different occasions and was told they were coming to do the job and NO SHOW both times.... Why bother !

We had Jacob Sauer Tree Care take down two trees for us over the winter. Everything with the tree removal went well, however, the stump grinding is another story. We asked to have both stumps ground, and they were both worked on. However, there are still significant portions of the stump above ground by about 6 inches. I have been unable to contact the office for the last 2 months. I have left half a dozen messages and have gotten no response.

I will not be using Jacob Sauer Tree Care in the future.

Very quick about coming out to my house to look at a tree the city was harassing me about. He gave me a second opinion and when it was time to have the tree removed they were very quick and clean! Definitely recommend and will use again in the future.
