James and his team did a fantastic job taking down 2 dying Maple trees, one in our front yard the other in our backyard. I was impressed by how quickly they were able to take down the trees and how thorough the cleanup was. They left the yard spotless! Communication was seamless throughout the entire process. James is personable, very knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions you might have. Price was very fair for the quality and speed of the work. Highly recommend!

We have used James and his team for multiple projects now! Tree trimming, tree removal and stump grinding - all were completed efficiently and for a very fair, competitive price! I was worried that the tree trimming would damage our lawn / the tree removal would leave behind a mess of mulch and wood - neither was the case! We've had James out three different times to help with our tree and shrub removal needs. Over the years James and his team have torn out several invasive honeysuckle, lots of yews and some other deep shrubs for us. Not only are his prices reasonable, he has the right equipment that allows him to work quickly. His team is professional and friendly. James has a wealth of horticulture knowledge. He has helped guide us through the decision making process to achieve our goals of reducing the number of high maintenance shrubs in our yard without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. Having a tree fall down in a recent storm . I reached out to 5 companies Sykes is the only one to reach back that day. They came out the next day while only one other company reached back the next week I would highly recommend them and they are very professional and did an excellent job and clean up.

They do exceptional work at a fair price. They are very knowledgeable, skilled, and equipped. They clearly communicate what is involved. They make it easy to do business with them. As so many reviews state, they left our yard better then before they came.

Had them come out to trim up two trees-did a nice job to get our trees under control. When it was all done you couldn’t even tell they were here because they cleaned up so well! Attention to detail was on point. Great to work with! No before pics, but the Ash had some dead sections and needed to be lifted from the house. The locust was wild, with several dead limbs, now tamed.

Sykes Tree Service has been fantastic. The team removed a few trees/stumps and trimmed the remaining appropriately. James is very helpful/educational on proper care/maintenance, and provided recommendations for replacements. Very happy with our service.

I highly recommend Sykes Tree Service. They recently trimmed two trees for me, including one with very large, still-attached branches that had fallen across three different neighbors' yards (I live on a triangular lot). Despite the complexity, they handled everything with precision, caused no damage to any fences, and the tree now looks like a fancy new gentleman! (See pictures.)

My neighbor and I also hired them to remove a pine that straddled our property lines. In every interaction, Mr. Sykes was prompt, professional, and informative. He clearly prioritizes customer satisfaction. On top of that, the crew left our yards completely pristine. Excellent service all around.

Based on recommendations from others in our Hilliard neighborhood, we hired James to remove three large arbor vitae trees from our back yard. He and his two other crew members did a great job in a tight space. They were able to schedule the job in a reasonable length of time and left the site in good condition, including grinding the stumps. I would recommend him!

Great prices and service! They took out our 75ft maple tree, in a single day. Very friendly and helpful advice. Loved how they were insured. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and I would use them again if needed.

Perfectly executed. I hired Justin to prune an walnut tree that was growing over my roof and into the neighbors space. He did exactly what I wanted for a great price. I had a free estimate in a few days and he came and did the job exactly when he said he would. Cleaned up everything after as well. In and out in a couple hours, very professional. I will be using him again if needed!

Had a dead pine tree and a couple large dead tree limbs removed. Quote was very close to others I received, seems like all the local places charge about the same. They stood out for being very knowledgeable and not at all pushy during the estimate process, and good communication when they needed to reschedule. Justin, Eva & team did a great job, and also appreciate that Justin passed on contact info for another arborist who may be able to provide free mulch.
