After calling a handful of tree stump removal companies that didn't bother to come out to quote us, I came across Sykes and they were out at our house the very same if not next day to survey and provide a quote. We were unsure and wanted to wait a few months to decide. They reached back out to us to let us know they were in the area if we were ready for the removal/stump grinding. They took care of everything in about 2 hours. They were very professional and cleaned everything up. Happy that we decided to use their services. Thanks James & co!

Sykes Tree Service provided exception service for a large 2-day job, skillfully trimming and pruning several tall, mature oak and beech trees to improve the tree canopy over my house. They carefully removed four trees from a large group of trees adjacent to my house, cleanly ground the stumps, and hauled away all debris. When finished, they thoroughly cleaned the area. James and Jason were pleasant and professional, working well with me and my adjacent neighbors. Beautiful work - thank you James and Jason.

Sykes Tree service is Amazing!!! I had them take a tree down for me 3 years ago and I needed another tree taken down a 63 years old maple tree !! They got me scheduled came got it cut down and carried away in hours and had the roots ground out!!!! When they were finished they cleaned everything up and leave no sign that there had once been a tree there!!!! James and Jason are just 2 of the nicest guys that work hard and do an Amazing job from beginning to end!!! And the price is so reasonable!! We needed help with removal of a small tree in our backyard as well as some bushes. James was incredibly helpful. He was able to come by same day to give us a quote. We were on a tight schedule for this project and James fit us in within three days of us contacting him. The work was done perfectly, on time and at a reasonable price. Amazing customer service! Did a great job, on time, fair prices and good communications.

James and his brother did a great job removing the dead maple tree in our front yard, and saved us big $$ vs competitive bids! The tree came down quickly and safely, and they they left the yard super clean. They did a nice job minimizing impact to traffic on our narrow street and keeping us informed re. scheduling and during operations. Another couple with a stump grinder came a few days later and we are super pleased with the results. Highly recommend!

James was easy to work with and exceeded all our expectations. Helped trim various dead growth and gave good explanations and guidance for what was needed. Would recommend!

Sykes Tree Service do a great job! They are incredibly good at safely and efficiently removing trees but also professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. And this is important - they also clean up everything before they leave. This is the second job I've hired them to do for us and I will definitely call them again if I need their help! My wife and I cannot say enough good about James Sykes and his tree service. He was very skillful in removing a tree in a challenging spot in our backyard. He was kind enough to stop by our home while we were out of town on vacation since he happened to be in the area because he knew we wanted it removed as soon as possible. We would highly recommend James for anyone’s tree needs. He will be our “go to” for all our tree maintenance needs.

James was very quick to schedule me and very reasonable on pricing. He and his partner did a great job trimming up my tree out front and left the yard very clean. He even advised me on care of my Japanese maple while here! Job well done I will refer to others and use again when needed.

We had a tree fall on our house and James and his crew did a fantastic job! They were very busy with other jobs but fit us in. They were professional and courteous and cleaned up all the debris. We will use them again and highly recommend them!

We had a big branch get knocked down after a big storm and was laying on our roof. I was recommended James by a neighbor. He was able to get out to the house the same day and take care of the branch. He also looked at the rest of our yard and gave us a quote to take down 2 trees and clear out some other limbs. The price was by far the best I was quoted. I booked him and he was out and got it done within 2 days. James is a great professional and I highly recommend his services. His work is unmatched, and to be able to deal with the owner of the company gives me great comfort.

We have used Sykes Tree Service 3 times now for stump removal, tree trimming and cleanup and removal of very large limbs that fell in our yard. Each time we were very impressed with their work and would highly recommend them. James and his brother are kind , hard workers, use the highest safety standards, are very careful lowering limbs to ground to avoid any damage to flower beds and other bushes and trees.
Their clean up is excellent and they take great pride in their work. Their pricing is very fair as well.
Give them a try as you won’t be disappointed.They’re the best !

I had eight very heavy pieces of wood left over from a tree I had cut down and the other company wouldn’t help me get rid of them. James Sykes came out late in the afternoon and hauled them away from me for a very reasonable price.

He was very knowledgeable and I will be calling him first the next time I need a tree removed or trimmed.

We have used Sykes many times over the years and will continue to use them. They respond quick and get the job done fast. Very professional. They also make sure to clean everything up before they leave. Highly recommend.

We just had Sykes Tree Service out again to do some more work for us! This job was to trim our siver maple that had branches hanging over our house and vegetable garden! Again James Sykes and his crew did an excellent job! James took care not to damage my plants that I already planted in the garden and removed the limbs over the house with no damage to our new roof! Clean up was excellent as always! We will definitely use Sykes for all our tree trimming in the future!

Sykes Tree Service did a super job removing a dying Sweetgum tree in our backyard. There were also 2 large dead branches directly over the roof of our house and James meticulously removed them without touching the roof or any landscape trees! James and his team were very professional and easy to work with! Clean up was so good you wouldn't even know they were there! James and his team also maintained safety throughout the tree removal process! Sykes Tree Service prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend them and I will definitely use them again on any future jobs!!!!

I have used the Sykes team multiple times and they are skilled at handling both small and large jobs, are super professional and affordable in comparison to big arborist companies. James goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of and my property was always left in better condition than before. I can’t recommend them enough for a job large or small.

Had a tree fall down in our backyard and thankfully a bunch of other brush/trees around it kept it from damaging our fence. They came within a couple days of us contacting them and removed all the wood and cleaned up the area, and were nice enough to blow some of the snow off our front porch! Very happy with our experience.

Sykes Tree Service is the best. I recently had a very large tree come down onto my neighbors lawn. Sykes Tree service came out the next day! The thing that is unmatched with this company is there attention to detail. They clean up everything and I mean everything and are very cautious not to leave a trace where they have been working. I don't trust anyone like I trust James and his team.
