We called Dan the Gutter Man as a follow up from previous fine downspouts and drain work that they had completed for us. This time, it was for gutter cleaning. They arrived on time, were very efficient, gave us extensive before, and after photos of their work, and followed up with phone calls to make sure that we were satisfied. We are glad to give them five stars! And, we recommended them already to several of our neighbors and friends. Thank you, Dave Kindinger.

The team at Dan the Gutterman are very responsive and professional. They are extremely easy to work with to schedule a gutter cleaning appointment. The work is done well and they clean up all debris from the gutter. I feel so much better not having to climb a latter to clean the gutters, especially on the 2nd floor. I’ve used their service for the last 3 years and they do not disappoint.

I'm a very hard customer to please, so I don't freely give out perfect scores for services or products. But, Dan the Gutterman earned and deserves a 5-star rating for the work they did cleaning our gutters. Not only did they clear the gutters, they ensured the downspouts flowed freely and the guards were firmly in place. "They" are brothers Sam and Mel, who would get a 6-star rating if I could give it. Hire them if you want the best!

I've used Dan the Gutterman in the past and have always been pleased with their service. But since I haven't been able to clean the gutters myself (Senior citizen), I've noticed a buildup of grit and tree trash. I asked if they could hose down the gutters, and yes they could. They also found two spots that needed renewed support and fixed those too! Thanks guys for a job well done! We had a rainstorm that night, I had no worries! Thanks

I have used their gutter cleaning services for literally decades. They are always timely, thorough, and do a great job cleaning up.

I initially had issues reaching their team but they quickly recognized the issue and took ownership. I appreciated their honesty and respect they are taking the steps to continuously improve their service. The techs that came on-site were excellent and quickly fixed my drainage issues. I would definitely recommend this company and use them
again.

I have used Dan the Gutterman for a little over a year to clean my gutters. Dan's team is good. They are responsive and customer-service oriented. My gutters require several cleanings each year due to a large oak tree on our property, and Dan's team always does a good job. I enjoy working with the team.

They did excellent work for me, cleaning my upper story gutters and tightening a few hangers that had loosened. The crew arrived in the time frame they said they would, and the work was very reasonably priced. The best gutter service I’ve found.

Mel’s crew rocked my gutters. They were fast, thorough and professional. Would use them to clean my gutters anytime. And thanks to Sam for the kudos on my youthful appearance. I do appreciate it. Dan the Gutterman’s crews are gutter cleaning rock stars. 😉

Called on Tuesday around 11 and got a arrival quote for around a week. Around 3:15 (the same day) they called and arrived. I don’t have an issue with coming sooner then the quotes time. I watched them like a hawk and they took off all the gutter guards and were very thorough. They were cleaning up the debris but I asked them to stop; I wanted to clean up the debris myself.
Other reviewers mentioned the distraction of them walking on the roof. These people are cleaning gutters, and you asked them to come - are you so dumb to not realize they would be walking on your roof? Should they have worn slippers? Get a life and let them do their jobs. You couldn’t pay me a thousand dollars to get on that high roof.

Very difficult to work with. In June, 2021, we were starting to get a new concrete driveway. The downspouts would have put the runoff directly onto and eventually under the new driveway. I called Dan the Gutterman and told them what I wanted to do. They took forever to respond to my request. It took me several attempts to call them to finally get one of their crews to come out to look at the job and give me an estimate. The driveway was finished in October. I had finally given up on Dan the Gutterman. Then, out to nowhere, in January, 2022, I received a call from one of their crews saying they were on the way. It took them seven months to get a job that took them an hour and a half to do. Now, they want their money. They certainly have not been shy about mailing invoices, emailing me, and now telephoning me. As far as I'm concerned, they can wait to be paid for seven months, just like they did to us. If they weren't interested in performing the work I wanted done, why didn't they just say so in the beginning. Dan the Gutterman was referred to me by another company. I figured I'd get good service and quicker response since my business was referred to them. Yes, the work got done, finally, at a reasonable cost. But, it was not worth the headache trying to deal with them.

No idea if their work is any good, but their customer service is lacking. They got back to me initially with some questions about the property, then ghosted me for 10 days. When I reached back out to them to see if they were still interested in quoting the job, they told me they charge for estimates even though their web site says free estimates. I'm not paying someone money just to tell me how much they want to charge me for putting gutters on a cape cod.

Note: I have no had service done. But I have called and emailed multiple times to get an estimate. I was met with crickets. I would recommend going with a company more responsive.

EDIT Dan the Gutterman did reach out after seeing my review. I am upping this to 3 stars since they eventually reached out. My biggest problem is I was told I was on the schedule and then didn't hear back. Also I posted this review two and a half weeks after reaching out for the original estimate on October 21st.

It is hard to review someone who never showed up. I called twice to get a quote, someone called me back and hung up on me, then I had to call a third time before I was able to speak with someone. Their website seemed better than most other gutter companies so I thought I would give them a chance and at least get a quote...too bad no one showed up to even do the quote. Two days in a row I was promised someone would come out to my home...no one ever showed up nor did I receive a call letting me know that no one was coming or to reschedule the quote. If you give these people a call, hopefully you have better luck than I did.

I hired them to clean my gutters last year and was told it wouldn't be necessary to be home when the cleaning took place. I happened to be home for a few minutes when the agent initially arrived. He asked if there were any problem areas he should be aware of and I pointed a few places out to him. Most of the areas pointed out have been better, but there was a particular area that has still been overflowing all year, leading me to think there was a problem with the gutter. I inspected it this past weekend and found almost 2 inches of silt packed down in my gutter. It seemed clear this area had been completely missed during last years cleaning. I have concerns there may be other areas of my gutter system that were potentially missed as well.

I spoke with someone from customer service who was kind, but unable to offer to a solution other charging me for another gutter cleaning, with a $20 discount for the inconvenience. If using their service I'd recommend being present for the cleaning and able to inspect their work in the days afterward. Based on this experience, I probably will look for someone else the next time I need my gutters cleaned.

Didn't call on way to appointment like promised, luckily I was home. Sprayed garage gutter out with hose, all over side of house. No way they couldn't have known. Had to go by and ask to clean up, which they did, but shouldn't have come to that. For $200 I'll call someone else next time.

We asked them to come out to install drip edge for our gutter last year. Two weeks later a storm came through and blew out the drip edge, and it turns out they just slid the drip edge under the shingles. They came back out after and “reinstalled” by putting 4 to 6 screws on a 20 ft run through the drip edge they put back up. This year a wind storm pulled the drip edge back out and damaged our fascia and soffit. I called them after having an engineer look at the damage and saying telling me it was installed incorrectly. Without even coming out to see the damage they tried to discredit the engineer and denied any wrong doing. Do not use these guys.

Very disappointed. Asked for gutter inspection and discussion of options to deal with over flow problem. Instead they simply used a blower on the gutters for ten minutes, workers would not discuss area where we had a problem and management kept saying they would come back out but have not and ignore our requests to follow up.
One of poorest examples of customer service I have experienced and I believe a misrepresentation of what they claim to do.
Skip the aggrevation and hire someone else.
