Not the deep clean I was necessarily expecting...maybe because my apartment was relatively clean to begin with or I had high expectations. Forgot to wipe bathroom cabinets down...had to ask them to clean under the furniture, which I thought was expected. Overall, did an okay job, but don't think it was worth $250 and was expecting more of a "deep" clean (i.e getting into the nooks and crannies of the whole apartment).

The inside of the oven wasn’t clean, and I paid $120 for the service. I know when I called I especially said I wanted the kitchen, bath, and all appliances (fridge, microwave, and stove) the stove top was clean but not the inside of the oven. When I called I was told, that I wasn’t charged. It don’t feel right because everything else is cleaned but that. I feel played with, I let them in my personal space and this is how I was treated.

Erica was so nice and accommodating!! On time, went above and beyond. Very careful with all our things and considerate of our schedule and requests. And great about working around our lazy big dog who didn't wanna get off the couch 🫣😂

I just had surgery a month ago. I tried to take care of the house myself, but I knew I needed help. Crystal was so kind and got to work right away. She got everything I needed done in the time allotted. I'm so appreciative it was so well worth it! Thanks Merry Maids.

We scheduled an initial 'Deep Clean' on 8/4/23 for part of a small house - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, dining, living, kitchen, utility, foyer and stairs - for $275. We expected at least 2 ppl for that price. We requested late afternoon and were told 2pm onwards. A solo cleaning lady arrived at 11am & had to be asked to return later. The 'deep clean' lasted approx 1.5 hours and areas including the only bathroom requested were skipped. That's approx $180/hour! We left a message for them that day - no response. They were easy to schedule with initially but impossible to contact afterwards until we left a message that we will be compelled to leave an online review. We sent them photos and have had no response to that. Just making others aware of our poor and upsetting experience which is echoed in other online reviews regarding this companies 'deep clean' for a new client

I arranged from a distant state for a gift certificate to my son and his wife for a move-out cleaning of their home. I spoke with Maria a couple of different times and found her to be wonderfully helpful. She gave me a quote for cleaning their large home. On the day of cleaning, my son's movers showed up 2-1/2 hours late, which made it difficult for the maids to clean the entire home as planned. They did the best they could and offered several times to try to do more. My son and his wife had to decline since it was difficult to work around the movers who should've had most of the areas cleared but didn't due to their lateness. It was a frustrating situation for my family, yet the willingness and the efforts made by the maids made the bad situation much better. Later, when I checked my credit card statement, I saw I was charged a much-reduced rate than anticipated. I didn't learn of the adjustments to the cleaning until a day or two later in speaking with my son. Both he and I were so pleased to see the integrity shown by this Merry Maids office in charging only for what time they could spend instead of what time they were scheduled for. After a very frustrating experience with contractors, a realtor and a moving company who didn't communicate well nor honored verbal commitments, the efforts and integrity of this Merry Maid office meant a great deal and brightened a very stressful situation for them. We appreciate Maria and those who spent their time that day doing their best to help our son's family with their move!

I called Merry Maids and was able to set an appointment immediately. My wonderful Maids were Brittney and Nicole. They came on time as, scheduled and prepared. Brittney came in ready to work hard. She scrubbed my house like it was hers. She sanitized my kitchen and bathrooms. She wore a face mask and practice social distancing. Nicole was personable and completed each task well. I am very impressed and will gladly use Merry Maids again. I feel completely confident to move into our new home ...germs are all gone! Thank you Jill and Merry Maids of Columbus.

Merry Maids has been just right for us for many many years. The very best reasons are reliability, punctuality and best has been the people that have given our service.
In any services business it always boils down to quality and reliability and we have enjoyed both.
The necessity of training new people has from time to time been a little testy, yet we understand the need. A little more close oversight would improve that greatly or more time not OJT until really ready.
We plan to continue with Merry Maids and feel comfortable recommending them.

Ingrid and Trish were both very friendly and a very efficient cleaning team. They did the extra little thing I asked them to do and went beyond all my expectations. They left my home smelling so fresh and clean. They were a pleasure to have in my home, and I would highly recommend them. Their services were provided to me by Pink Ribbon Girls, and I can’t think of a better gift of service. They were great!

The staff are consistently kind and and are very receptive to requests for which rooms to clean or how we need certain things cleaned or not cleaned (ex. office that we work from home in, antique furniture).

We have had the same person every other week for more than six months. Sometimes she has another helper. She pays attention to our specific requests from time to time and does a great job. Update 9-19-2021. Have had a new helper for a few months. She was unable to come two weeks ago due to illness. Last week, we got an extra, super-super clean at no extra charge to make up for the missed time. The owner of the franchise is really invested in making sure customers are happy. Update 12-11-21. We have had the same person the past couple of months. She does a great job and is very responsive to our requests. I'm so thankful to have our Merry Maid coming every two weeks! Update 11-9-2023. I think we now qualify as long time customers. We have been quite happy with our service all along. There have been different people coming at times but generally we have the same person as much as possible. The continuity is great! Update 4-14-2024 We continue to be happy with the Merry Maids cleaning team. Every two weeks I receive a text notification about 24 hours prior to the cleaning that my cleaning has been scheduled. There is a 2 hour arrival window the following day. I receive a second text notification when the "team" is on the way and telling me the approximate arrival time and who is coming. Each time, one "area" of the home is scheduled for a "deep clean" which includes slightly more cleaning. When the team arrives (typically one person) I confirm which areas are being deep cleaned and anything special that might need doing. Then she gets right to work. Since I have had the same cleaner each time for months, she knows what I want and I do not feel the need to supervise her work. I continue to be very happy with the service I receive from Merry Maids.

They have the best cleaners who do a thorough professional job. I have a two story 1800 sq/ft house and Britanny makes everything shine in only an hour and a half. The central office is always very nice and accommodates any special requests as best as they can. Well worth the money, which is quite reasonable.

My husband and I waited too long to hire cleaning services after we had our baby in September. It’s really helped us spend more time focusing on our baby. We really appreciate Ashlee doing a fantastic job cleaning but also, she’s very respectful navigating around the house with my two large dogs and my 4 month old!

Great service, friendly discreet staff! They always do a thorough cleaning even in places we tend to neglect like dusting tops of picture frames & kitchen cabinet doors. Taryn, Tasia, and Sherri have all been wonderful.

Merry Maids was hired to clean a home that had been under construction and needed a move in clean. Requests for cleaning included: Cabinet clean out, Wipe down wood work, window cleaning, bathroom cleaning and any other general cleaning needing done. Only thing left out was the flooring and Master bath if not accessible. First set of maids arrive, they spend 2 hrs doing nothing. I saw them wipe a bit of woodwork down but nothing else. Then they said they were complete and walked off. I took pictures to prove they did not do their job at all. Based on this, I called the company right away to fix this. Jill sent a new maid out on Saturday. The house was empty with the exception of walk thru's, but no contractors or furniture. We walked what needed to be done and what the previous maids did not complete. I gave her direction and she started. I watched her do the windows in my 2 front rooms and some woodwork. She went upstairs for about 10 min (so she did 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths in 10 min???? I think not) and then came back down to the kitchen to start on the cabinets. There was sticky lining residue in them, however It was never reiterated to me that this is not something they handle. After doing 4 cabinets out of my 11 she pulled me a side and stated that she spoke with her boss (Jill) and is not to continue with the lining. This would be an additional charge and they would need to reschedule this cleaning at a different time. Her boss (Jill) had given her direction to finish up her expected cleaning minus the cabinets and then be done. Ok, no problem. However, she just wiped down the outside of the cabinets and left. Never finished any woodwork, windows, bathroom or general cleaning. I saw her clean a total of 5 windows out of my 15. I do have pictures to document all of this as well as time stamps from them. Even after reporting this to the company (Jill & Maria) and showing them the pictures, they did not care at all. Their response was the job was complete and I am to pay full price. Seriously. They refuse to say their was any fault on their end. At any given time during this cleaning, I had 3 - 5 adults present who were flabbergasted to see her walk off. They were all expecting a clean home. All are willing to give their statements to the company as well. I had to find a last minute independent cleaner to finish the job. They did amazing and their price was great. No shortcuts or fibbing from them. Merry Maids (Jill & Maria) refuse to make this right at all even though they stated they did. However my house spoke for itself. See pictures below
