Loved everything about the place they have it all! From supplies to all sorts of plants and plant care products. Friendly helpful staff is awesome too. Definitely will inspire you to buy more cause it’s all so pretty!

this place is heaven for any plant/ garden lover. when i had my apartment and wanted house plants, this location always had what i needed and now that i own a home with a yard, i’ve come to depend on oakland! i could easily spend hours here at a time 🥰💐

Great X-Mas tree selection. Loved the instrumental X-Mas music played by talented young musicians. Nice touch!

Truly outstanding professional nursery. Vast, healthy selection of absolutely everything from trees and shrubs to garden and indoor plants of every kind. Living plant stock is well cared for and refreshed regularly. Lovely home store too. Incredible weekend holiday events…I just stopped by to find live music, free chili, horse drawn carriage rides and a full friendly staff ready to help. Wow. It’s getting tougher to find real nurseries anymore…what a treat this place is.

For years I have bought my flowers at Oakksnd Park. On 5/22/20 spent almost 200.00. In that purchase I bought two flats of Impatients. Planted that day. As of today 6/20/20 they are
Dying. The ones in my 4 pots and in the ground. Looks like they where frozen at one time. It was 16.99 per flat. Most are gone. I took pictures and stopped by the Oakland nursery today with pictures. I was told no warranty, that I water to much in pots and to little in the ground. I spoke with Shawn, and Molly.
They didnt care. All I wanted was two more flats or credit. I will never stop into that place again. I will never support it again. A big place like that,
And could not be taken care off.
Shame on you guys.

Excellent assortment of trees flowers and other plants. They also have water fountains and fertilizers. I really enjoy it going up to this place especially since they have some pretty good pricing especially on Japanese maples

Love coming here to pick out a Christmas tree! They have so many different sized trees and so many different ornaments to look at.

This review is about their Christmas trees in Pickerington on Hill road. We have bought from this location in years past and had stopped for a while due to the trees often dropping their needles and had been cutting our own at the local tree farms. Since we are older and can no longer cut our own; My husband stopped there this last Tuesday Nov 30th, and they assured him the trees were fresh cut. The trees were three times as expensive as last year; but he bought one hoping it would be a good tree, and worth the money.
It is now Dec 4th. We put the tree in water the same day we brought it home. It had a fresh cut on the end. We let it rest for three days before trying to decorate it; keeping the water full and checking the tree frequently. We are decorating today and over half the needles have fallen off already. This tree must have been cut at least a month ago and certainly not stored well. Very disappointed for 150.00 for an 8 foot tree I truly expected it to last and hold up for more than five days.
I have amended my review to 4 stars as when I called Oakland Ivan was very kind and offered to replace the tree. We have decided against that as that would require a tremendous undertaking to take the lights and everything back off but at least that was an option. I would recommend if you don’t feel like decorating twice to really check the tree at the lot well; give it a strong shake to see how many needles drop and see if the needles are yellowing or browning at all. We have noticed that after closer inspection. The tree looked beautiful at first glance just was dried out and falling apart already. Since Oakland Nursery does have good customer service and stands behind their products I suspect their supplier was less than honest about when they cut and how they stored the trees.

Communication was seamless, and everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the outcome.

We came home to a yard that looked better than we could’ve imagined. Every bed, every plant, every detail was placed with care. We’re thrilled with how beautiful everything looks and are so grateful for all of their work. We’re already looking forward to working with them again in the spring for annuals and seasonal cleanup!

Fantastic nursery - huge japanese maple selection, and herb selection too, their greenhouse isn't huge but very well maintained and interesting selection there too. Also big selection of pots etc too.

Overprice plants and flowers and terrible customer service. I returned a dead shrub and just wanted to replace it and the cashier told me that they didn’t have anymore of that particular plant so I would get a store credit and then the manager came over and told me that my shrub wasn’t a shrub And that I only had 30 days to return. She was very rude and condescending. I guess from now on everyone I know friends and family will go elsewhere,after 30 years of going to Oakland nursery that has come to an end because of Shannon, the rude manager.

I am eternally in love with Oakland Nurseries! They've been around since I was in elementary school, which happened to be Oakland Park Elementary, which is located right behind the Oakland Park location. They have outstanding selections and quality. I could live there. And at Christmas, we love to get live trees from them. Couldn't ask for better!

Their Oakland top soil is just a bunch of saw dust/wood chips/peat moss that gets so clumpy. Picture shown comparison between Menards top soil (darker color). Such a scam. Wasted a few hundred dollars for fake top soil.

Great nursery - wide selection of landscaping plants, annuals, herbs and vegetables as well as garden supplies. Beautifully laid out, it is a pleasure to just walk up and down the aisles. Also, you can bring your dog to the nursery!!!

Great variety of plants, saplings, indoor, outdoor accessories. Big collections. They have different water fountains, little expensive. Zen windchains, Summer collections, flowers, artificial creepers, pots, etc are available at this store. There is mud, mulch, organic feeders, organic mixers etc, required planting tools are also available. Parking is little congested during summer as crowd is busy. Friendly staff. There is small lemonade stall inside as it’s summer.

I can't say enough good things about this place. I fell in love as soon as I walked in the door. It's the equivalent of a kid being in the candy store, except for plant people. Their plant selection is unreal. I bought two plants, I wanted more... There is so much to see and buy here, bring extra time and money. You won't be disappointed.

I live close by, so I can go often and check the stock, and I’ve been really impressed with the conifer selection. I’ve bought several of my conifers online over the years, but the price at Oakland has often been better for a bigger size plant.

I have shopped Oakland since 1965 and ask why it's my absolute go to Nursery. It's the consistency of products available and the people that work there. A jewel in the neighborhood!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Lots of variety. Prices can range but the deals are amazing. Went to them to start an outdoor container garden. All of the seedlings I got from them I got have flourished. Still need to read and research and be attentive to your individual plants, but the Oakland nursery will have almost, if not, everything you need to be successful.
