Mat did an amazing job on our yard that honestly looked awful before. He came out in the middle of the summer on 100 degree day with nothing but humidity in a yard with unsightly bushes and weeds throughout the mulch beds and banged out trimming 20+ boxwoods, a few rose bushes, a Japanese maple, a few other odds and ends and put down 5 yards of mulch in less than one day. He was timely, efficient, affordable, and cleaned up after himself as if he’d never been there. Also, I reached out to Mat at the last minute to landscape our yard before we list it and he was able to squeeze me in on a weekend just a few days after I’d reached out to him. I couldn’t recommend Mat more if you’ve got landscaping needs in Columbus!

Best decision ever! Mat Jones and his team were super professional from start to finish. I was amazed at how fast this project was done. During construction the site was left in PRISTINE condition and back gate access secured daily, which was super thoughtful to me as a pet owner. My vision came to life exactly as I imagined it. We are so excited for summer on our new patio!

Mat and his crew were wonderful to work with. Once they started the job, they stuck with it until it was finished. The initial work was done in May. Then we had the very hard rains followed by a drought. I asked him to come look at the yard in August and he saw that the dirt had settled and washed away from the pavers. He came back this week and put in more topsoil and reseeded it so that it will have a better chance to grow as we get into cooler weather. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. It exceeded our expectations. The fire pit has been great in the cool evenings. He really is a perfectionist when it comes to his attention to details. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Could not say enough good thing about Selby. They did a fantastic job redoing our landscaping. Would absolutely hire them again.

I contacted Selbys on 8-4-202, explained I had a down spout issue that required expeditious repair and had a visit scheduled for 8-5. After showing up, I received ZERO follow up and no estimate. I called and emailed twice each to no avail. Only after texting and saying I would not be using them did I get a reply which was nothing more than a list of excuses as to why she hadn't got in touch with me along with the assertion that she had sent estimates. I asked to where were they sent....no reply. Via text on 8-10 I was told estimates would be sent again....and still nothing and no additional replies. I even sent a final email with a fax # just in case there was an issue with email....but of course.....no reply. I place a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in Selby's Landscaping.

In July 2020 we had our landscaping done by Selby’s. They did such a good job then, we decided to have our patio with a fire pit done in August 2021. We are very satisfied, and would recommend them to do your projects.

I was referred to Selby's by a family member, Jenni was very professional and listened to what I wanted. I previously had a sand pit that was used for an above ground pool. Jenni and her team turned this area into a beautiful paver patio that I am very proud of! Price wasn't too expensive considering all the hard work they put into making it perfect. The only downside is that now my old patio looks like garbage compared to the new one, so I will be having them replace it soon.

I would highly recommend them if you are shopping around for a paver patio installation!

They were honest and upfront from the very beginning. They took pride in their work, which was top quality. They even completed our project sooner than expected. We will use them again for our outdoor and landscaping needs. Always feels good to support a family-owned business. You can really tell they are concerned about leaving their customers with a quality product and good experience

I was extremely excited when my patio was completed, even though the design was a bit off. But within about 6mos I started having issues of various pavers sinking and becoming uneven. Notified Jen who said they would be out to repair. Another 4-6 mos goes by they finally make it out to do the repair. Another 7 months later, more paverssinking and now edge pieces are falling off. Still under warranty, contacted Jen multiple times with no response. No way to get a hold of these people who pretend to be friends with you but have to curiosity or respect to make things whole/right.

From my first phone call with Jenni to the end of the project they were AMAZING. I highly recommend Selby for your outdoor projects

Inconsiderate and unprofessional, for multiple weeks the crew has been working past 9pm in an apartment complex when people are trying to sleep. It is currently 9:30 and I can still hear the workers.

my apartment complex started using your service a few years ago and I have been very impressed! My brother owns a landscaping company and my family has grown up in the business so I know what to watch for. Your crews are very friendly and very respectful of my daylilies and other plants around my apartment. They do such a great job of cleanup and you’re very dedicated no matter the weather!

Terrible people who go above and beyond to target certain individuals and ruin their belongings or home. They intentionally make a mess on your door and walk way. Happens every week when they come to do the yard work at my apartment complex. You can tell they do it intentionally to some people because it happens every week to my front door and walk way and never to the other doors or walkways on my same building. Last week they intentionally blew mud all over my door, while all the other doors on my building are spotless. They will intentionally do weird things like put mulch all over your yard decorations. If you don’t like you job, quit. They have 0 accountability or oversight.
