We called for a chimney inspection and cleaning. We were told the cost would be $145. When the technician showed up he was kind and respectful. He completed the work in about 45min and told me he was finished. When it came time to pay, he told me to tap my card and sign. Luckily I looked at the screen of his phone, which said $845. I asked if it was an error and he told me no. He said he had to clean behind the wood burning stove and remove a birds nest which cost more. Not once did he stop to tell me what he needed to do to remove a birds nest prior to competing the service or that the work he was doing was not included in the agreed upon price. After he was done, he told me about the birds nest and that it cost an addition $500 and an additional $200 to clean behind the wood burning stove. I never would have agreed to let him proceed if I knew the total was going to go up by $700!! I would have said no and stopped the service immediately since we only wanted the fireplace for ambiance not for warmth! After calling the office he finally asked me how much I wanted to pay to which I replied the quoted amount of $145. He then changed the price to $145 +$4.35 service fee. I have no clue what the typical cost is for what he did, maybe that is a fair price. What I do know is that you should not complete work that is not included in the agreed upon price without talking with the customer first and getting their permission to proceed. I feel like they tried to take advantage of me. I wouldn’t trust this company nor would I recommend them!
I would also like to note he was also seen on our home ring cameras, taking pictures of our personal belongings in the room that were not associated with the fireplace or chimney as well. He did not have permission to take pictures of our things.

Do not believe the 4 or 5 star reviews seen under this "company." Even though the individuals who show up to your house will be kind and seem to care. The reality of the situation is that they are there to scam you.
I called to have my chimney cleaned along with my vents. In total I expected this to cost $345. Upon arrival the two "workers" did the following.
1. Looked at my chimney for a total of 1 minute and say it will cost $3000 to clean and repair.
2. Looked at my furnace and 1 out of 42 vents in my house and said it would cost another $700 dollars to clean.

I proceeded to tell them I wanted to simple cleaning that I thought I was paying for... they did nothing. Then they charged my $365 for the "inspection."

I have requested a refund for the "services" provided
