I will start by saying I do not give five star reviews very often. I admit to being demanding and picky. I know that every time humans are involved there will be hiccups and I take it upon myself to identify those hiccups and bring them to the attention of the contractor. This job was no different. What swung my opinion is the fact that every question I raised and every issue I had was quickly resolved by Trevor and his team. The end result is a satisfaction level that deserves all five stars. I would recommend Tartan builders for your roofing needs.

Trevor and his team were great to work with. They were very professional from start to finish while helping us work with our insurance company. The roof looks fantastic and was finished in one day.

My experience with sales reps isn’t good. They usually are pushy and won’t take no for an answer. Being a senior now, I always worry about fraud and taking advantage of older people, ripping them off. But the sales rep I dealt with from Tartan Builders for my roof was not that way.

Carlos Calvano was polite, kind, and never pushy. He was very respectful. That there speaks volumes to me. He spoke with confidence and was very knowledgeable about the company, the estimate/insurance process, the work and the materials.

Carlos walked my roof, took pics and even met with the insurance claims adjuster. After seeing the pics I could not believe how bad my roof really was.

I’m the kind of person who asks lots and lots of questions to gain understanding and all throughout the process Carlos was very patient with me and answered all my questions even when I asked the same question more than once. He took the time to explain the process reassuring me that I wouldn’t have to pay anything out of pocket except my deductible. That was a huge concern of mine. He even spoke to the insurance company on my behalf when I didn’t know or understand something.
I felt comfortable contacting him when a concern would arise and he took the time to explain it to me.

My overall experience with Carlos left me feeling confident about the whole process and now I look forward to seeing my new roof. Upon completion of the “build” I will update my review to reflect the completed work.

Excellent work! Ayden did a great job getting a new roof approved by my insurance. His team came through and knocked it out in a couple of days. Not only did they tear off the old roof and replace it, they cleaned up when they were done. Ayden came back after the job and walked through any questions I had. A great business to work with.

Isaah from Tartan Builders is very nice to work with, he helped us identify issues of the roof after a storm and worked with insurance company to come up with viable solutions. He is polite, responsive, and knowledgeable of what he is doing. I would recommend Tartan Builders for roofing needs.

Austin showed up at just the right time. We had damage that was covered by insurance, and he worked diligently until the job was complete. He met with our adjuster on several occasions to ensure everything was properly documented and covered. Austin communicated well throughout the entire process and followed up consistently to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. We highly recommend their services!

I was approached by two gentlemen on a cold call. They were very respectful, informative and careful to be clear about what to expect and what they may be able to do to help with any storm dramage on our roof. They didn't spend the whole visit discussing roof repairs but were personable, friendly and we had a great chat!
As it turned out, the damage wasn't as bad as I thought but they worked autonomously with our insurance company and secured a new roof (50-year warranty!). The company spent about 4 weeks locating the roofing materials we had chosen and once found, their team had it up and done in 1 1/2 days! And that included removing and reinstalling 35 solar panels without a hitch - at no additional charge!
I had to pay a little more for the project than anticipated but that was because of insurance choices on my part and not due to any mis-cue on the part of Tre or Tartan Builders.
I've never exprienced this level of response or communication. I'll be keeping Tre's number on my phone for any other issues that may arise within their scope of work!

Professionalism, Punctuality and Pricing all stood out to me when working with Tartan Builders on our recent roof replacement. Our main contact was Pierce Martinez and he could not have provided better service than he did, but beyond that, the Tartan team demonstrated a deep bench of qualified and competent contractors, so even when Pierce was not available/accessible, there was another team member to help out thus eliminating the most painful of contractor dilemmas: delay. I highly recommend Tartan Builders - and their staff - to anyone interested in a seamless, straightforward and satisfactory roof repair/replacement.

Aaron was great to work with! Ended up being a longer process because of insurance, but he stood by me and advocated for me and never lost his patience with my 1000 questions and concerns. He was very professional and even helped with the financing part of the process! Will definitely work with him again. As far as the roof and gutters- they look sooo good and it’s nice to know they are the best quality and guaranteed should any issues arise. Very pleased with my experience.

After some storm damage, Tartan builders worked with our insurance company to replace our roof. Chase communicated well with us and the insurance company and kept things running smoothly. The crew worked hard and did a wonderful job. They were meticulous and worked late in order to get the job done in 2 days. We are very pleased with Tartan Builders.

Tartan Builders Inc is the absolute best in roof replacement in Central Ohio & the entire United States Midwest. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the entire process and the finished work, plus their provision of warranty. They have the best customer service. They treat you like family. Carlos and Ashton are the consummate professionals in what they do. They were there with us from start to finish. They do more than just replace your roof; they become an extension of your family in the process. We highly recommend them to all and sundry. A trial will convince you as we have tried them and we are convinced.

Zay and the team were amazing to work with. They gave us a full detailed report of our roofs problems, as well as was at our house for the insurance adjuster. They fought for us to have a roof that we needed. They helped make the process easy by answering our questions. And always checked up on us through the process. They were able to come out within two weeks of us getting our insurance approved and the roof was done in one day! Absolutely amazing!

Tartan builders put on a new roof on my house one month ago. Lewis and Tony came out and worked with us to keep the cost within our budget. The workers had the job complete in one day. They were courteous, hard working, and very thorough in their cleanup. I couldn't be more happy with the work they did. Lewis and Tony are very professional as well as the workers.

Cody was very professional and helpful through the process of getting two roofs completed. He made it easy for me and answered every question I had. He is very friendly and personable. He kept me informed about everything that was happening and when. He is excellent at his job and I would recommend him for all your roofing needs.

I have worked with many contractors in different states over the years and have literally never been so completely sat sfied with everything from sales through the quality of the work. Ayden is the most personable salesman that anyone could hope for, and his knowledge of roofing is impressive. He was helpful in submitting an insurance claim, and was totally fair in his estimates. He has delivered on everything promised and then some! The crew seemed to be diligent in their work and, most important, really spent time cleaning up.
If there was a 6 star option I would choose it.!

We were very happy with the work that Nate and the entire Tartan Builders team did in replacing our roof. Nate was very persistent in working with our insurance company and explaining the process to us. The team that replaced the roof did a great job and left the surrounding area very clean.

They helped us with each step in the process and provided an accurate estimate of our deductible up-front. They provided several color, style, and durability options for the new roof that closely matched our previous roof. The installers did a fantastic job installing the new roof in one day, and they were very thorough with the clean-up effort after the job was finished. Their team was professional and courteous, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Deacon did a great job working with my insurance company to make sure that they covered all of the wind damage my roof sustained. He was wonderfully attentive and accommodating to our needs and preferences. Tartan did great work. My roof is beautiful.

I had a very pleasant roof work done by this company (Tartan Builders). I tendered a roof replacement request to my insurance company and after all the inspection and reviews, my request was declined by the insurance company. Carter, the Tartan builders roof associate had worked on a neighbor’s roof and had visually seen some damage on mine from across the street and came knocking on my door. I told him my request was declined twice and and that I was told to repair the roof the first time with my deductible but he insisted he could get the insurance company to replace it considering it was in a really bad shape. I reluctantly agreed and he started work.
Amazingly, within 3 weeks, my roof replacement was approved. I really was surprised how he was able to turn things around. He not only got approval for the roof to be replaced but also got me funds for my solar panels on the roof to be removed and replaced after the roof was done.
Carter was so pleasant to work with, called and texted frequently to give me updates and was true to his words. He fulfilled his promises and always showed up when he promised to and if he couldn’t make the appointment, he always called to let me know he wouldn’t be able to make it, rescheduled but always apologized for that too. It got to a point that I felt he was too polite and very sincere. I liked working with him and wish I had him for all my other projects. I have been very pleased with Tartan builders and with Carter in particular.i

They came in and had a large job done in one day everything was cleaned up and I had no issues. They did a great job working with us and made the process very easy. I appreciated how easy they made the whole process. The contractor was Deacon and he was great to work with.

I was working in my back yard when Carlos Vasquez asked if he could inspect my roof for hail or storm damage. I gave him the okay thinking there was no chance that he would find anything. Carlos did find some damage and asked if he could work on our behalf with our insurance provider to see about a potential replacement. Within a matter of days, Carlos called back with great news. Total replacement approved AND we wouldn’t be out of pocket for any of it. Over the course of the next week, Carlos brought out samples so we could pick our new roof color. He followed up regularly with scheduling information and updates. We were on vacation when the work was done but Carlos sent pictures throughout the day so we could see the progress. When we got back, I walked around the house to check the cleanup work after the installation. I found ONE small piece of shingle and ZERO nails. The whole process was easy from start to finish. Carlos and his team did an amazing job and I would recommend them wholeheartedly.
