Seeing the prices of stoves now a days, I thought I would try to see if my stove could be repaired. Tom Pate came and not only did I learn a few things, he is extremely knowledgeable about a lot! He was completely honest and found our issue and didn’t stop until he did! I will be calling Pate again if I need any repairs on my appliances! Highly recommended. Thank you again Tom! I was having issues with my dryer not drying any of my clothes, Tom came out and was able to get it fixed and got the older parts switched out in no time! I’ll be recommending him to my friends and family!

I had called to have my ice maker looked at. Josh came out and replaced it. Everything working as it should. I must say Josh is an outstanding employee. Highly personable and a pleasure to deal with !

So far so good. Made appointment to have dryer looked at. Lady who answered the phone was very nice. Serviceman Josh came and told me what to expect as far as cost of repair upfront. Didn't have the part as my dryer was an odd one but he assured me that he would put a rush on ordering part and make sure to repair as soon as it comes in. Cost was very fair and service was quick. I bought a new washer/dryer set from Pate, excellent customer service, great deal. When the appliance was delivered, two very professional men showed up, brought the set in with no problem, then walked me through in detail every setting on both machines. I would highly recommend Pate, and they are a local business which I like even more. Keep up the great work!

Pate talks the talk - does not walk the walk. Horrible experience despite the friendly face they put on. My washer wasn’t working, so I asked them to repair it. They charged me $170 for an inspection and pump (that I found out I didn’t need). When the issue persisted, they kept me waiting for two weeks to get a part and never responded to my messages. Finally, they told me that they are not able to fix the issue. Then they charged me another $80 for the followup visit even though according to their own policy follow up visits after an initial inspection are free of charge for 90 days (and the followup visit was within that timeframe). Given the other reviews here it’s possible that I was just unlucky but overall I had a horrible experience with Pate Appliance Service.

Update: two weeks after I posted this review, I realized that Pate had refunded the $170 they had charged me (and never followed up on the second charge they had claimed). They still didn’t fix my washer, but at least they seem to have the decency to make it up when they mess up on customer experience. It’s only fair to change my rating from 1 star to 2. hats off for trying to make it up to your most unsatisfied customers, Pate.

Josh did a complete diagnostic on my washing machine even a sample load. He explained everything as he was checking my machine and even game me some tips. Excellent customer service.‼️ Prices as quoted. Blessings to this young man. I will definitely use Pate appliance if I need future service. Thank you 🙏

Michael fixed our dryer. He offered 2 fixes that allowed us to choose a cheap fix or a more comprehensive fix and the pros and cons of each. I appreciated that. He was quick, efficient, and super upbeat and easy to work with. He explained everything. Highly recommend Pate. We’ve used them several times. Today Michael was awesome.

Our 17-year-old KitchenAid French Door refrigerator stopped cooling. I was sure that I would have to buy a new one but Adam Pate of Pate Appliance worked his magic and it is up and running again! This is the second time I called Pate out to fix something, and if anything goes wrong I plan to call them again! The first was for the dishwasher and the second time for the oven. Both times, they were very professional and courteous. They were knowledgeable about what they were fixing and even explained their process to me. They also get brownie points because they were happy to love on and play with my puppy! Their services are affordable compared to a number of other places that I’ve looked at. I talked to Tom today at Pate and had a marvelous experience. He listened attentively to the issue I was having and after asking the right questions, was able to lead me through steps to a solution. His knowledge and help solved our problem, plus another problem that we had had for quite some time which I thought could never be fixed. I'm overjoyed and so glad I called!!

For the very best expert service their price is fair and 100% worth it. ( with a dryer you don’t want a handyman.) I found Pate online and was impressed by the reviews. Josh repaired our Samsung dryer and had it running so smoothly and quietly after being serviced. He was on time, polite, answered all my questions and provided tips on how to maintain better the dryer. The service was also very reasonably priced.

We ran into an unexpected water issue and Josh immediately returned to troubleshoot. He saved me the trouble and stress of having to call the office and explain what happened. Pate went above and beyond to correct the issue and got everything back to its original state. Their customer service is stellar and I have the utmost respect for their professionalism and service.

Pate Appliance Service has excellent customer service and parts availability! I needed a random part for my Maytag dishwasher and they were able to research the part number and have it ordered. I was very happy with the service I received.

My ice maker went out and I discovered that not a lot of repair guys will work on ice makers. Pate appliance was recommended and I was glad they were. Josh came out, on time and assessed the issue. He replaced the broken parts but I needed to wait for it to refreeze. When I called the next day to say still no ice, he researched on his own time and made adjustments to the wiring. He said if they couldn't fix the issue he would harvest & reimburse for the part. On the third trip, he brought his more experienced owner without extra trip charges. I am happy to say together, they got my ice maker working again. They are honest and trustworthy. I would recommend them to anyone for appliance repair.
