All reviews for Lehman Drain & Septic

I had another group come out for a clogged drain and they couldn't fix the problem, but charged me 375.00 for trying. So I called Lehman to come out, 2 hours later they are sitting in my drive working on the issue, about 20 minutes later a pump truck is there. They not only cleaned the drain out, they also pumped my septic tank and made sure the water was flowing into the tank. I would definitely recommend them . Don't mess with no rooter guy, Lehman will come out and show you how people still care and want to do a great job for you. A+++ operation. I have them on speed dial. Thank you.

I contacted another company for emergency septic tank service slightly before closing time at 6pm on Thursday. They were to contact the gentleman and have him call me. 2 hrs later, still no call. I called back, same thing, they would call him and have him call me. This is now 24hrs later, still no call back.Good thing I found and called Lehman who responded quickly, and efficiently. Great service and reasonable 👏🏾 👍 👌

Came out and snaked my drain last Monday. They were an hour late so they did give me a discount on one of the drains. Went to run the laundry again on Thursday (as I had caught up at the laundromat over the weekend) and the drain overflowed again. Here’s a timestamped picture for the flooding on Thursday for proof.

Lehman tried to repair a leach field and ruined our entire septic system. He las been lying to customers and has attacked my business which has nothing to do with his POOR uneducated and unpermitted work done. Our septic system was failed by the Portage County Health Department after the Lehmans worked on it. He has had his friends badmouth my business and leave false reviews in retaliation to the poor review he received for poor workmanship. This man is an uneducated liar and will leave you with a bigger bill. You will have to have someone come out and correct their work. CONSUMER BEWARE.

I was very disappointed today waiting for my appointment all day that I made the day before. It was urgent because water/sewage was backing up in my basement. The plumber said that I had water for a few days before it would start backing up again. As I waited for this truck to show up, I called once before when they were late and was told he was on the way. She got me confused with someone else. I about cried when I called later still waiting for that appointment to find it was not written down. I gave her all my information yesterday- name, address, etc. I know they were having a bad day, but I was told to call someone else. I will never call Lehman's again. This was a bad day for us both!

11/25/2025 inquired to scheduled a septic tank pumping
Was scheduled for 12/01/2025 10 am
12/01/2025 received a text at 10:30 am that they were on the way
12:09 pm I asked if they were coming still, didn’t receive a response.
12:57 pm had to call them to see where they were. They had a emergency call supposedly and would let me know when they are coming
4:47 pm they called said they will still be out but it will be dark and I told them that will be fine
7:42 pm received a text stating the driver couldn’t find my house because I was dark. Mind you I have one neighbor and I am on a main road, very easy to find. So they rescheduled again for 12/03/2025 11 am
12/03/2025 1:16 pm I called because nobody has shown up yet again and was told Sonia was supposed to call and inform me the truck supposedly froze and wouldn’t be able to make it out until 12/09/2025

I get things happen but not informing customers of delays and giving excuses to why they didn’t show up is not a good look. I don’t not recommend this company at all

Poor reviews are unfortunate, but necessary. I had an appointment for 9a, the first of the day, to have a drain snaked. At 9:15 after no one had showed up I called to confirm my appointment and was assured the tech was on his way. At 9:30a no one had arrived, no one had called, so I called back to cancel. No remorse, no apology, no excuses, no nothing. If you're going to be in the service industry you really need to be on time and provide better service. I do not recommend this company for these reasones.

I Called them this morning to inspect the septic issue for the red light and alarm being on. I was greeted with a female that sounded like she just woke up. No intro "Hi, thank you for calling Lehman...." or anything that would determine that I've reached a business or anything.

I continued with my initial problem, and was advised that they had someone in the area which wouldnt be long before they could arrive. Then received a text message 1 hour later, proving another 1 hour 15 minute arrival time. No call, No Show.

I then made contact with female again, advising of no show no call, and she would call me back. Gave her another full hour to provide me with a status and was sent to voicemail. Voicemail stated they would return my call promptly within 15 minutes and I was instead sent a text saying the same tech from earlier was just now enroute.

Then I found other various reviews online also having the same communication issues that I am experiencing. Time is of the essence, and not calling nor showing up for an appointment is further waste of time.

I would certainly NEVER refer anyone to Lehman Drain, nor would I recommend anyone even bother calling them for any type of service.

Over promise way under deliver.
