We recently hired Riepenhoff Landscape to redo our backyard in Italian Village which included a patio with a roof, fire pit, and a long beautiful stone walk way that wrapped around the house. They did an outstanding job from start to finish. I sent an RFP out to 20 landscaping companies around Columbus and Riepenhoff came back with the most detailed at a reasonable price. I could tell when talking to Jay that he was genuine and had my best interest in the decision making process. The entire team was detailed oriented. Jay noticed a couple pieces of stone that weren’t up to his standards (not that big of a deal to me) and he went out of his way to return the stone to make the project perfect. He treated the project like it was in his own back yard and you could tell based on the attention to detail. I don’t normally do reviews but felt like I needed to based on my excellent experience with Riepenhoff Landscape.

Nick did a fantastic job coming up with a plan for my landscaping. The team was always on time once work started and kept me informed as things progressed. I get so many compliments on how fabulous it looks. I am thrilled beyond words with the final outcome. Somebody last weekend referred to it as an oasis, and I completely agree. I love sitting back there and enjoying the peace and beauty. The work entailed a new paver pool surround and seating area, new trees, all new planting beds incorporating an existing play set area, new lawn and front landscaping. Basically, my entire 1/3 acre lot is gorgeous. The plant selection was excellent and is even more beautiful two years in. Nick also did a great job in keeping costs reasonable and not trying to “add on” things that weren’t necessary.

I was recommended this company by a good friend of mind and I had no idea how incredible of a company I was being introduced to. These guys started out by doing a whole landscaping project on my 20 acre estate, from beginning to end and did such an incredible job.

I also own some other commercial properties around the Columbus market and found out that they do lots of other contracting/site work and so i used them for that... Same high quality expertise and worksmanship. The craziest thing about them, they are not even expensive.

It's been 5 years since they did my first project and I use them for every possible thing I can, they are incredible. Have never worked with a company and crew as good as these guys. would recommend them to anyone that need High end Landscaping and site work done on their homes or properties.

We had 90% of our yard redone by Riepenhoff landscaping and it was the best decision we could have made. Both of our 20 foot long, 3 feet tall retaining walls were also torn down and rebuilt. We tore our whole garden beds, we moved large rocks, we had trees taken down and added back. And through the whole process we can't say enough good things about our experience. The crew was kind, tidy, extremely hard working and clearly experienced. Nick, our landscaping architect, had the level of experience and knowledge that, I promise, will make you feel at ease about every decision made. Our initial visit was easy with Nick and the owner Robert Riepenhoff, they listened and took in our vision. When we started working closer with Nick he designed a full blueprint paperwork meticulously organized to help us understand his vision and how it worked with ours. It then went to his hands on placement of plants, trees and new garden beds locations. And it ended with a full plan on how to care for every individual plant we purchased. The level of service, communication and professionalism was amazing. We are so excited to continue to work with them on future outdoor projects and you should too!

The place is very run down, which is neither here nor there. The owner/manager bothered me. Prices would be marked, but somehow when they add it up it is WAY more than it should be. When they need to split a plant off the stock, the owner/manager always makes sure you get the smallest most sickly flower bulb that isn’t in bloom. The hosta you get will be the one that bugs have chewed on. Or, my personal favorite, the plant you want was sitting in the wrong area so it is way more expensive.

Central Ohio's largest single site nursery. Come see all of the beautiful fall colors!

Jered and his crew did a really nice job pulling out old vegetation and preparing the area for new plantings. He followed when plants were put in last August and again this year late spring.

Don’t drive by this place and overlook them! Prices are same if not better than big box stores, plants are by far best quality in town and selection is top notch. Long time family business truly run by the family and not just an advertisement scheme. Jered worked relentlessly to design our entire front yard and all the neighbors boast huge compliments! Landscaping is an art at Seely’s. They know how to take care of perennial gardens and after using other companies to mulch in the past, I’ll never use anyone else but Seely’s! Their nursery has a great selection of plant materials too.

I’d rate 10-stars if I had the chance. I hired this firm to transplant 3 Beautyberry shrubs into sunnier spots, plant 2 nearly-huge Boxwood, and sculpt a Japanese White Pine.
